XC's mixer loses coins is not a fact.  Someone "claimed it" (aka a drk shill) and atcsecure is looking into it but has also stated that the current release is beta.  Kinda like how DRK's masternodes causes forks so that is still being worked on as well

a mixer on its own can't steal coins, but with out the REV2 trust system and multi-path there is a potential risk of loosing coins through a bad node.  I have setup "hardened" servers for testing, PM for details

which is why it's really a non-issue.  he has stated current REV1 release is a beta and will be a foundation for REV2 (which will be a huge change).  REV2 which will eliminate this risk will be released soon.

This is a sad state of affairs!  I don't see any of us originals on here and I can see why.  We never had this type of behavior in this thread.  My take... and I know a Evan would agree... let the best coin win.  Innovation is driven by competition and  XC and Monero or Darkcoin have every right to forge their own path. If a coin doesn't live up to its billing... the market will sort these things out. This is not a competition between which coin or ideology is the best... that kind of thinking is best left in a grade 1 sand box.  We are forging a very new path... and people,  we need to get Joe Public on board,  to make these technologies more approachable and usable in everyday lives.  Cause eventually... the coal will run out and there's no more steam.  We should be collaborating with everyone and presenting multiple technologies and showing the benefits of what we are developing here...  IMHO.  Thanks everyone.
