This is the time for education on why DRK is better than BTC for privacy. Informational videos on how and why DRK is the preferred currency for privacy should be posted on the darknet subreddit and darknet forums. Every darknet user should be using DRK rather than BTC.

Is there already some usage in the Darknet or none at all?

Yes.

Diabolus is accepting DRK currently.

Starting next wednesday, a second market Nucleus, will accept DRK as well.
LOL with real adoption the price will rush! I cant say I am not smilliing now Wink

No one.

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

If you think you are going to actually buy something, please protect yourself and use Tails, tumble coins etc.

One of the major tumblers just went offline. People lost their funds. If Darknet Markets switch over to DRK, it'll eliminate the need for BTC tumblers and make their transactions a little more safer and easier. All Darknet markets should switch away from BTC and make DRK their main currency for use.

This is the time for education on why DRK is better than BTC for privacy. Informational videos on how and why DRK is the preferred currency for privacy should be posted on the darknet subreddit and darknet forums. Every darknet user should be using DRK rather than BTC.

This is good news and great free marketing for DRK. Exactly why you shouldn't trust a centralized bitcoin mixer!

Now all that is needed for full anonymous delivery, is that masternode network would support trustless decentralized mixing of molecular teleportation transports so the authorities couldn't spy what stuff is being teleported to your house.

Ok, thanks. Googled a bit and they seem to be either not very relevant or new according to this list I found:
http://www.deepdotweb.com/2013/10/28/updated-llist-of-hidden-marketplaces-tor-i2p/

Is that thing about too few anonymized DRK I read about a few pages ago a problem for those markets, i.e. is that maybe a cause they do not use it?

If it was my choice it would have more to do with liquidity, price stability, the payment protocol, maybe some tx malleability or other fixes that weren't implemented yet when darkcoin forked either. Also, there's the problem of having to update constantly and having devs break things when they introduce new features and fixes.
But yeah, not being able to fully use the only feature that makes it better than btc for their purposes is a show-stopper.

Adoption takes time anyway, I don't think they feel a pressing need to move to something more anonymous than btc at the moment.

Both of those markets may be relatively new.   I'm watching the reddit thread, no new posts in three months...... looks like we need to get a few new posts/votes to bump this thing to the top of the section.

v0.10.15.14 - Onyx Update

15.14 Adds a fix for a DOS style attack against the masternode list that was attempted earlier today. This attack didn’t result in any harm to the network or extra payments for the attacker, but I've patched it to stop the list from bloating up. This is not mandatory, but please update if you can.

Nice to see some dark net markets adopting Darkcoin. Though really it's the big boys that would need to in order to make waves with the price (Agora, Evolution and so on).

Agreed.  Hopefully these markets are presenting the DRK option properly.

There should be someone "on the team" dedicated to DNet adoption/marketing and maintaining a list of active markets.
