A new DRK competitor just hit the scene. Not to mention that the dev is planning on releasing super fast transactions.

Competition is great but I don't see it coming from that coin  Grin

lol, you think that's going to be a competitor? Look at his trust rating, further the last sentience says it all... asking whether a pretty logo is better than a functional coin. LMFAO.

I just can't believe that you and BrainShutdown took my comment seriously. LOL

So now TaoOfSaatoshi and whomever else is active on Twitter should re-tweet this thingie using hashtag #RollingStone and than again, tweet a message to them with a bit of DRK related data, via @RollingStone while in the tweet they should also use the hashtag #RollingStone and #bitcoin and as the third and the last one #darkcoin...

It would reach more people if the tweet is re-tweeted and hashtags used.

Actually it's the worst thing that can happen if you're hoping for mass adoption.  Being branded a coin for drug dealers is not a good thing.  But apparently that's the direction this coin is going.  Too bad.

Edit:

How many Rolling Stone twitter followers do you think are going to be buying drugs online?

most likely in the trash or what not -

really wouldn't worry about it

Yeah, no trouble. It's great that you're so passionate but we do need to be careful how we position the stuff, especially when the mainstream media is all agog about terrorism and looking for anything that can demonize as part of some abhorrent plot to help with terrorism funding or expertise. As I've noted previously, Darkcoin is at high risk of suddenly dropping into a maelstrom of controversy and beat-up.

Didn't mainstream media accuse bitcoin a couple years ago as something that could be used by terrorists and criminals? Look where bitcoin went after that. I wouldn't worry too much about mainstream media demonizing darkcoin. Let them have a go at it. They love to sensationalize and to scare people. The more darkcoin is mentioned, the more people will look into it. That's how publicity works.

Bumping one of my posts about publicity..There's no such thing as bad publicity..It's about exposure, pure and simple...

It's not the worst thing. It would be the worst thing if it was the only main coin spending possibility.. Internet is used for drug buying, money is used for drug buying, but as internet and money its not the only way to use it.. Most important thing is main coin using possibility...
