I can say it now because on there are so much angry haters.... and all they want is to discredit NEM
NEM is entirely fair!

Marketcap will be 150.000,00 - 200.000,00BTC on first day on market.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Why all the haters?
NEM had the fairest IPO / distribution in digital currency. What sockpuppet fiasco? They did a census and only like a third of holders were inactive new accounts, but that doesn't make them sockpuppets. This may surprise you but most people don't post on internet forums. it's meaningless in a sense. This forum is also full of 'tards and trolls, so that keeps even more people away.
As for a fiasco - 2000 to 3000 real stake holders versus 13 - 22 for NxT or 5 for BTC (Satoshi and the early adopters mined a crazy amount). Where's the fiasco here? NEM has one of the fairest IPOs to date.
Oh I see, you must meant a fiasco by Altcoin community standards (or a lack thereof). "How dare they have a fair launch, how dare they!? Only scam coins and scam IPOs are tolerated here!"
exactly, posting for the sake of posting does not really mean your active, it means you talk alot....sometimes for no particular reason. One of the things that stops me posting on the bitcointalk forums is a lot of people have their own agendas. Some speak highly of a coin to get you to buy it, some trash it to get you to sell it...they all just to make money out of you. It is hard to know who to trust now. That is the point.  Another thing. People are complaining about this thread and too much talk of stake holding /sock puppets and they have a point but remember this was always going to be a big issue. I think it is good that there is a lot of discussion about this issue. I hope future investors have access to these pages because they will see that only a handful of us had unrealistic views on sock puppets and it shows that almost everyone is striving for egalitariasm. Once the stakes are issued I'm sure that the discussions on these forums will move on to more productive issues. |

I invited three people to NEM. All of them posted in the "waiting" thread. Only one of them is in the stakeholder list, two others are hoping to join. And none of them will be active at these forums I think. But they are real people, my friends.
I want to say that the distribution is great and even if there are some people with sockpuppets it doesn't matter, there are enough real people to make things right.

So just to confirm, regardless of whether you sent in a NXT donation or simply expressed your interest in NEM before the cutoff page, all initial stakeholders on the list will receive an equal portion of NEM correct?
Also, will it later be possible to purchase additional NEM before launch? I really believe in this project so if there is any way to increase one's holdings (ethically of course, I'm not talking sockpuppets or anything) then I would be all for it!

Yes, all stakeholders in the list will receive an equal amount of NEM. I will figure a way to allow trading before the official launch to increase the liquidity and and establish NEM value but it will only happens when the list is finalized after taking out refunding list and adding in the waiting list. Thanks for your support. It is an open question on what kind of value NEM can reach upon trading starts. |

also if my math is correct, if we were to hit ripple's marketcap of 1.2 billion.. it would make every NEM worth around $.30
now THAT would be insane. However I figure a $.01-$.04 value is reasonable/likely.
