well, have the final stakeholder list been done?
There's a list but it's not set in stone final as we still have the public auditing.

Continuing the drafts: Hopped back to the pyramid subject. Maybe we can agree that a pyramid presents old and something, which is not wanted anymore? Now I can't figure out any other useful "pyramid" but a tent. And if thinking carefully, it may be so that a round shape for a tent's base would still be better (remember tents of North American natives). Ofc the Egypt's pyramids are great and amazing sights. If thinking, what use is to build so enormous construction of stones and how much effort, energy it takes, then there is no sense to build such anymore. And, the pyramids as technical or conceptual structures are also "no thanks", coz in the modern world a word pyramid brings in one's mind quite often the pyramid scheme. Or something glorious and vain (refering to Egypt's pyramids). So, get out from the pyramid schemes We should step down from the pyramid's stairs and become egalitarian. NEM is the way to do it. New Economy Movement consitutes the 3 steps down from the pyramids to the Equality. What do you think? ... also there is a problem: equality is soooo difficult to present in a picture

... Some of thread's comments reflect that here is not quite understood the real work They do respect the work of developers - with fear, as they should Still not they don't understand that logo design work is quite similar: planning, trying several ideas, isn't it. It takes time. Therefore I don't understand that logos would be created from nothing in an hour by some light bulb vision And even by one member. I could imagine that the members of bitcointalk are not designing logos as a full day worker. In that case they must do teamwork, in a way or another, to combine the ten minutes of member A with half an hour of member B with an hour of member C etc. to get a good simple logo. Or otherwise you must trust that you have luck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xjr2hnOHiM /

It is one of the better ones for sure. I'm really curious (and a little afraid of) which logo the cummunity will pick. I'm wondering how the voting will actually go down as well. I don't think we can just put a vote here since we only wan't stakeholders to vote.

Since public auditing will start tomorrow, UP will open a new thread to follow up. Can it be an idea to do the public auditing in our community forum? Just to create some interest for the future stakeholders to visit the site

While it's a good idea I think we should keep this here on bitcointalk. We should not create any more barriers. I don't want people to bitch later about how they did not know about the other forum and that's why they did not respond or make their case. Since there are no competing forums the community will move to the official NEM forum soon enough.

What's the current best guess on when instructions will be sent out to claim NEM stakes? I don't frequent the board frequently and just wanted to know when I should get back to check. Want to make sure I don't miss it.

There is no official ETA bit I'd check at least once a week allthough my guess is it'll take another month or so. The first post of this thread is being maintained to just check that for regular updates for the time being.

Hello all,
I follow daily this forum and I would like to ask two questions please.
1) Do you intend to create your own exchange to start trading as that will takes months to create one. Or are you going to put it in an existence one ? as for that there is an existing voting process in the exchange to add news coins in an exchange. Its not goo to come one day and say NEM is ready when we don't know where NEM will be trading?
Will NEM be in an exchange trading with many other crypto coins etc or will it be like Dgex? and so will it be done by yourself or you will be considering someone to approach you to build an exchange for you and if so how will you finance that?
2) I know you don't know for sure when all will start but will be before May or after, just to have an idea.
Thanks

The coin world has gone down hill, the huge asic mining and multipools jump on a new coin, mine it, sell it, and kill it within days, moving on like a pack of locusts. Agreed, lets hope that NEM will help change this, although I'm a little concerned that the discussion seems mainly centered on tech, promotion and sockpuppetry! What happened to the moral/no envy side of this project?
