Since it's changed a lot can someone please give the current ETH emission rates? How much exists, how much will exist, is there a current limit, etc. It has been confusing to understand. I'd appreciate it if someone would break it down for me. Thank you.

I wanted to get a ether wallet but the software seemed supicious. Isn't there a normal online wallet that does not need to be downloaded?
Yeh, The mist wallet sucks balls, not possible to create a wallet in mist. Some random error occur I am able to create wallets fine (on dell laptop). I have 3 wallets and 1 account/contract. Claim your ether pre-sale wallet https://www.kraken.com/etherhope this helps

Yes, it has changed a lot. At the beginning, the supply was supposed to be limitless but then devs have decided for a hard cap with the introduction of POS. There will be at the end between 90 and 100 million with a very, very small yearly inflation of about 1%, if I am not mistaking about the inflation part. Links are online, mostly on Ethereum blog. I don't have time at the moment to dig through and post the links. Maybe somebody will do this instead of me!

this isnt a pump...its a realization...an awakening of the crypto masses, all of us have realized btc is not in capable hands anymore. Many smart traders saw this coming months ago(some even yrs ago), if btc fails what should we do...go to fiat or another coin??. crypto isnt dying ,its evolving A coin that does not have the issues btc is having..and if it does have issues in the future "who would fix it"? people trust VB more than any btc future dev , its that simple Mr Pumperitis quote of the week Agree. Smart investor will do the same as you described. ETH is likely to be new Facebook, and Vitalik Buterin a new Mark Zukerberg. BTC is like MySpace

Not many sellers when Homestead due in a few weeks. A 30-50% drop after that wouldn't be a surprise but this isn't just another coin. Didn't Litecoin go from .80c to $50 - wait till the Chinese get a hold of this.

*dream* Hope we can reach $50 but if we put the same growth of LTC on ETH it's something like 6250%

And Vitalik is one of the most smartest programmers I have seen, so no doubt that ETH will survive long term and become the most successful crypto currency. Now ETH is listed as #2 in market cap which now makes it closer to BTC. One thing that I have noticed is that while BTC's price goes down, ETH's price goes upward. That is a good sign.

Now ETH is listed as #2 in market cap which now makes it closer to BTC. One thing that I have noticed is that while BTC's price goes down, ETH's price goes upward. That is a good sign. This is the reason of this pump as well in my opinion. Everyone believes it is a pump and dump or a manipulation, but it isn't. Bitcoin is on the bad path and everybody can sense this. I mean people can't raise block size limit even to 2MB, do we need to say more?! Too much self interest, politics in Bitcoin and I am sure Satoshi never meant it to be in this way. After all, this is still all just an experiment. Many people are hedging their BTC investment with ETH, just in case. I mean look at it, this pump just coincides to begin with Mike Hearn doing what he did. Another thing about is that many people that missed the train with Bitcoin see ETH as a new chance to get in the game with better entry point than with buying BTC at these prices, since ETH is still very cheap if the DEVs can deliver everything promised. So nothing weird about this price increase in my opinion! I wouldn't be surprised that this doesn't correct at all. Or it will rise more and then correct. Volumes are another proof of this as these volumes were never seen in ETH.
