Order of over 50,000 SLR is mine. I try to buy Solars during last 2 week, but my order never is completed. I tried really every combination of price and number of bids. I think that almost all trades on Allcrypt are fake because it's impossible!

They aren't fake.  Huh I try to put in low bids initially too when I am trying to buy. If nobody is willing to sell any to me at the lower levels within a day or two, I move the bid up or just buy at the offer so I can be done with it.

There's nothing fake about it that I can see. Am I missing something?

Wow! Slr at 1100 sat? That's nothing!
2 months ago I have sell more than 80k at 3200 in allcrypt.
Maybe some of you are new in allcrypt and don't have followed slr from the beginning.

They will rise, within next 2 years. That's only a little pump.

I have bought hundreds of thousands of SolarCoins on AllCrypt, so I can assure you the volume there is real.

If none of the sellers will dump into your bids, you just have to increase your bids or else buy at the ask. And if you're trying to buy several Bitcoins worth, you'd be wise to spread out your buying over a few weeks, to avoid moving the market too much via your own trades.

The difficulty dropped as expected and this coin opened its legs so the mining community can now rape it again.

Seriously dev, aren't you going to do something about this ridiculous diff adjustment ?

What about the 1440 Block Difficulty Adjustment? Any plans to change that?

This is ridiculous, once a multipool hit this coin it will be stuck in high diff forever.

If the difficulty goes up, wouldn't that make the price go up because miners will get fewer coins for the amount of electricity they're using to mine them, so they wouldn't be willing to sell for as low?

Are there any problems associated with having a high difficulty, and if so, what are they? Just wondering. Thanks.

The multipool will start to mine 1 block after Difficulty Adjustment and then stay for 1440 blocks mining with low difficulty,
After 1440 blocks the difficulty will sky rise because the huge hash power of the multipool so the multipool will leave.

The nethash will drop but the difficulty will remain high, blocks will take a lot of time to be solved and the chain might even get stuck (like 1 block each 5 hrs and so).
When the dedicated SLR miners will finally solve all 1440 blocks and a Difficulty Adjustment take place, the multipool come again and start this process again.

That is exactly what happened to RPC right before the first update.

Thanks for the explanation. I will forward this to the dev.

Hi, bros.

I'd like to introduce Latiumcoin.

Latium is PoS coin, which is distributed by just signup. It's free and wallet starts to minting perfectly. It's not harmful scam at all.
Its interest rate is 50% per year.

You will receive 5 Latium by signup, and you could earn more by making referral.

Dev is not willing to tell the total amount of coin, however he mentions that this distribution method will bring the people without professional knowledge of mining hardware and software.

Just let them know about Crypto and Latium, and help them to join the Latium network. It's free and will reward both you and your friends.

Please 'click' red link in my signature.

Have a good day!  Cheesy

Seriously dev, aren't you going to do something about this ridiculous diff adjustment ?

The developer and Board of Directors are discussing which specific difficulty retargeting method to implement.

I am not the dev, nor do I serve on the Board, but I am in frequent private communication with all of them. I can assure you that a fix will occur and that it's the highest priority on the to-do list.

Certainly!

A few of us are compiling everything we can find on the current state of development of the various retargeting algorithms. I'm currently digesting the material related to the attack vector that BitcoinEXpress (a member over at bitcointalk) identified in KGW. It's purportedly been fixed, but it was a very serious vulnerability that would have caused a lot of damage to our blockchain and the SolarCoin project as a whole.

I know a lot of folks are anxious, the reason it's taking time is precisely because we all believe in this project and the amazing community that's evolved around it. We aren't going to copy-and-paste a solution without examining it first because the unintended consequences could be pretty ugly.

I appreciate everyone bearing with us, the most important thing to me (and the others involved in the project) is the trust of the community -- and we aim to earn that by doing everything we can to protect you and the integrity of SolarCoin.

Since §1 = 1MWh, then yes. What will a MWh be worth to the world in a few years? Especially if that MWh came from solar electricity generation? That's the question I like asking myself.  Roll Eyes

When I got involved at the end of January, my first impression was that if 1 MWh of electricity is enough to power an average home for one month, then the goal to me would be that I could eventually pay the power company §1 a month and my bill would be covered. My monthly power bill is $172.

As solar takes off (and it will), that will drive the cost of electricity down anyway. And we'll be right there enjoying the ride and creating a stable, representative currency to help grow the next phase in technological evolution.

That is certainly well above the projected goal but is it unreasonable? Are we in on the ground floor of something truly revolutionary? I think so. Otherwise I wouldn't be here.  Grin

This is a post I submitted to the solarcoin forum thread above, I figured I would echo it here while its pending approval to be publicly posted to that thread...

I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, this topic has been in a lot of different forums.

Have you considered  Digishield http://www.digibyte.co/digishield

I know other many other coins I have implemented it, I have mined a few coins with it and I haven't seen anything wrong yet.

It sounds like you have been doing a lot of testing, have you found things wrong with digishield?

Also has there been any real talk about SolarCoin adding PoS (proof of stake) It could bring some big attention to SolarCoin.

With Proof of Stake (PoS) being an "energy efficient" method of securing a coin's block chain. Because PoS mining does not require the intense computing to secure the block chain, it instead requires a small amount of CPU power, and some coins in an open wallet, to create new blocks within the network.

Here is a clipped video from Nxt coin on PoS http://youtu.be/jjGwnGEwZHw

Here is Hobonickel (where the above quote came from) which is a Pow/Pos hybrid
 http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=Proof_of_Stake

If you add PoS to Solarcoin it would become one of the most dynamic Crypto's on the market in my humble opinion.

Solarcoin at that point would have 2 PoW and PoS,
PoW- Solar power generating panels
PoW- Mining network
PoS- Coin holders

One of the bigger drawbacks to PoS is hoarding because no one wants to give up their coins. So that drives up the price, but also makes it harder to get coins. The thing Solarcoin has that makes it a great PoS candidate is the premined Gen pool. With the large chunk of coins premined and given out for solar power generation, That solves the hoarding problems of other PoS coins as well as drives more people to redeem coins for solar power. Its also good to mention it would be important to keep the premined out of receiving PoS rewards, simple keeping them in cold wallets.

Im not a promoter of any of the other coins... I could care less how the coins used for example proform... They are only used as a reference... Im all about making Solarcoin the best it can be!!!!

I happen to love this idea as well, I'd just like to see the difficulty retargeting get addressed first so we can put out that fire and be done with it. Then our tech team will have some forking experience (no pun intended  Shocked) under their belts and can begin thinking about the larger project of a potential PoS fork down the road.

For sure a PoS fork will be a very big job and it must be done right...

What is your thoughts on digishield vs KGW as the retarget protocol?

And this is something I need to look further in to PoSV it's seems interesting...
