Extremely disappointed with Arsenal yesterday night,I lost quite some mBtc on them,I thought to be a sure win the game of yesterday based on their recent form I thought they would crush Crystal Palace which plays absolutely for nothing.I always tend to forget that I am betting on the Premier League where surprises are the main event.I wonder how many people in the pool had predicted a Crystal Palace win at such scale.

~snip By the way, we have 26 points in a round if I am not wrong Highest this season was 25 points on 29th round and casperBGD won that did not know this, great info we have one more match, my Everton is playing a relegation battle with Burnley, it would be really a shit to been relegated, but Lampard did not brought anything new to the team, and we are sliding last 20 rounds nevertheless, all that could end-up tomorrow, win over Burnley would set solid distance to relegation zone, but losing that match would seen a fierce battle should we look at draw, or risk to get a win interesting enough, last two matches away that we didn't lose were against Chelsea and United, last year, in 2022 all loses in away matches

Anyway tonight, important game for Arsenal. Beat Crystal Palace and they have 2 games of cushion with only 9 games left! ~snip
yeah, in the end, it will a race between London rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham, with Manchester United just watching, despite popular belief that United will see CL next season Arsenal should be good to win tonight, Premier is getting realistic scores in last few rounds it is a longer round than usual, which concludes with another match for Everton, nightmare season, but hopefully Burnley will stay on four points difference after the match Well, that was totally unexpected. Did Palace play so well or did Arteta forget to tell his kids to play? Doesn't change the situation though, except to give Spurs more hope, but it's still going to be London teams in Champions League Chelsea, Arsenal/Spurs. Manchester is blue this decade for sure, United are just counting on mistakes and none of these teams can make enough mistakes in last 8/10 games.
Only one guy picked Crystal Palace in our pool. And that guy is a Spurs fan, so he is happy lol

Just noticed there's a game on tonight in the midst of all the UCL QF action. Not a pretty game on paper, struggling Everton vs struggling Burnley (is it fair to say that?).
Everton win this and they'll put some distance between themselves and relegation. Burnley win, and it's a tin of sardines at the safety zone. Cards type betbuilder and BTTS good value?
Might actually end up watching though as it kicks off a half hour before Real (the one I'm watching for sure).

I think the best bet in this game is draw although nothing is sure in Premier League and anything can happen in this game. Also a lot of tipping sites I am watching all are predicting a game with low number of goals, all predictions lead to under 2.5 goals for this game.If it ends in a draw it will benefit both teams somehow compared to a win which would benefit a single team but would damage the losing one since both teams are fighting to be safe from relegation.

I am actually tipping on Burnley here. Relegation battle is normal day in the office for them and they manage to clinch PL place usually with good results at just this part of the season. For Everton these are uncharted territories and they expected much more from this season. I imagine there is a lot of discontent and mixed feelings in Everton locker room and it is difficult to win away games against Burnley when you are not on 100%. We shall see how it goes, I am switching to real as well when it starts

both-to-score passed before Real is to start penalty for Everton to equalize the score, Burnley started with high pressure, scored fast, but penalty brought us to beginning it seems quieter now, could be more goals, but both sides are now taking more strength into defense will stay with this one, not Real/Bayern, it is relegation fight for us, after all

@casperBGD I almost forgot you're Toffees guy! BTTS and over cards turned out pretty well for this game, but my pick was a scoreless draw in the pool, which is the worst way to watch as the game progressed from 1-1 thinking, okay close score, to 2-2, okay at least I get a result, and then Burnley crush it all with that third goal. Who'd have thought, relegation strugglers scoring freely? Okay, 2 penalties, but still, you gotta win them and at least Richarlison banged in two. I can't feel too bad about your team man, but the last thing I want is them out. We need our annual derbies for all that EPL flavour =(
@Trofo watched Villareal game and wow, I think I have been underestimating their progress as luck. Forgot how good Lo Celso can be too... Spurs will wonder where they might be with him. Deserved to be at least 2 goals ahead by 60th min with such sloppy play from the Germans. Neuer almost gave Moreno a goal of the night too with the most shocking distribution from a classic keeper I've seen in ages. Hope you enjoyed Real game, kinda envious didn't see the goals...

To be honest, if I was Emery I would suspend Moreno for a long period of time after that madness. I simply cannot understand how professional sports can be ruled by ego so much on a top level, especially when you are playing as a huge underdog. He has Danjuma on the left totally alone - waiting for a pass to basically run with the ball into an open net and he decides to go for glory and shoot from 50 meters. Insane, truly mind boggling decision. He really is a good player - but decisions like these can be the difference between going to the semis or not.

shit, another lose in a row, and against Burnley it hurts a lot but, it was a good match in second half, Burnley was more precise, we keep the ball, without much ideas what to do, and that led to them scoring two pieces and overturn the score hopped for a draw, now the situation is really tough, schedule is not on our side, United for a weekend, Watford has a good chance to win over Leeds, Burnley playing Norwich and Lampard really did not bring anything to the game, Rooney is mentioning as replacement, but he is happy at Derby (although they are already relegated), and who would get the team in this situation

Haha casper welcome to loser club =p but nah, you can beat United easy, put them in Conference league please! On that topic, big big news is United have Ten Hag. Well, okay, not confirmed, but it's a done deal from what I'm reading. Thoughts anyone? I really think he's a cool guy, but am I worried about United now? Not at all. Rangnick was a bigger deal but he couldn't do crap to undo the shitstorm the club have whipped up around themselves. Can't possibly see Ten Hag do any better. Not even Pep nor Klopp could, unless they bring the club's principles to align with the new manager. LvG was a bit unfair when he labeled his old club a commercial one but he had a point there. United have always been and will always want to be the English Galacticos. Hard work ethics not an absolute requirement for players. They'll carry a lazy Pogba any day if it brings them profits. So overall, I'm pleased they got Ten Hag. He's going to be in for a rude shock. To be honest, if I was Emery I would suspend Moreno for a long period of time after that madness. I simply cannot understand how professional sports can be ruled by ego so much on a top level, especially when you are playing as a huge underdog. I'm leaning with you here but I'll give Moreno the benefit of doubt. Saw the replays several times post match. He intercepted, was off balance, saw the keeper way off, adjust himself and took a swing in a split second. Actually looked like a beautiful goal-bound effort from the angle behind him, but yeah, too much curve. It's possible a through ball to Danjuma would have been much more difficult to execute, but yeah, my instinct would be to pass to him immediately. Shoulda killed the game with many chances, they'll regret this next week almost certainly.

Right, potentially the league decider this weekend, so naturally I'm going to go for a more reserved prediction. Liverpool to win 3-1 . I'm confident, I think Salah will be back to his best despite his recent struggles. Man City have looked better after the international break, although their opposition hasn't exactly been great, so its hard to know if they're starting to regain form or if its just because of the quality of their opposition recently. Liverpool have looked good overall coming off the break, maybe some blips here, and there especially against Benfica after pretty much dominating the first half. Although, it was a comfortable win in the end. I find that Man City either turn up against us, and its a goal fest or they completely collapse under our press, and we end up putting a few past them. I'm leaning more to the latter this time, since it hasn't happened for a while now.

Feeling nervous about the weekend, I really hate playing Man City. The thing is we play them in a massive game Sunday, again in the FA Cup semi final & even then, there’s a good chance we both get to the CL final. Losing to them in the CL final would be sickening. It’s a great rivalry, must be fun for the neutral but I hate it If there is a God up there, any type, please show yourself, starting this Sunday with a huge win for the mighty red men.

The God is there, you just have to pray with sincerity from the deepest part of your heart and I am sure Liverpool will crush Manchester City.In order to do so they need a lot of psychological preparation from their coach as this is more beneficial in these type of games rather than the physical preparation without removing anything from it.I am only afraid that they played more conservatively in the Champions League compared to Liverpool and this is the only thing I worry but personally I am going to bet on a Liverpool win.

The God is there, you just have to pray with sincerity from the deepest part of your heart and I am sure Liverpool will crush Manchester City. Not gonna debate if God exists or not, let's assume he/she/it/they do for this post. Don't you think City has some believers among their supporters as well? Who gets the win then? The side who has more believers or the side that prays hardest I believe that even if the God exists he does not involves himself with petty human affairs. It should definitely be a great game and I for one can't wait for it to start. Just a bit concerned that both teams would probably take the draw, especially City so we could end up with very defensive oriented game despite having two very attacking clubs going at each other.

But it will be really intresting too see what will happen until the very end. But im going with City to win it all in the end

If there's a God, he's for Liverpool for sure. He loves a good underdog I'm fairly optimistic before the game. City is the best team in the world but we are as close to them as anyone can be and I feel we are in a better period and currently have more in-form options than them. We will massacre them with our offensive game, we now have fresh legs to press throughout the whole 90 minutes and I expect we will put them under intense pressure from the off. City has the quality to play through our press though so I expect a fantastic, hig-scoring and nerve-wrecking game.

have to say that I expect low-scoring match, but certainly high-pressure from both sides somehow, I do not see City as favorites nevertheless, with all things happening, probably only for me in the pool, more important is match with other team from Manchester, where we are chasing to avoid relegation it would be good if the God is there to support both teams from Liverpool

Its only Friday, and I'm starting to feel a little anxious about the game, and the game is on Sunday! I'm confident, but you never know with City. I don't expect them to carry the form they've been in as of recent into this game though, they'll definitely be up for it. I see us getting pinned back a little in the early stages of the game, unless we can do what we did to them a few years back with our pressing. Although, I'm still going with my 3-1 prediction, I do think we'll need to weather the storm for the first twenty or so minutes. If there's a God, he's for Liverpool for sure. He loves a good underdog I don't think we're that much of a underdog are we? On paper maybe a little bit, but I'm not even sure in that. Form wise then I'd say Liverpool are looking much better coming into the game. We've had a few blips here, and there, however overall we've taken care of the business when needed. Man City have looked a bit out of ideas recently.

Silly money on Liverpool for me! But the odds keep getting better and better for City (cries inside that bookies think we'll lose: 36/10 ML now, better odds for loss or draw).
@Welsh Wise to go conservative, let's assume Salah won't get over his burdens yet, and Klopp decides to rest key players, so yeah, best we can do is 3 goals, and a customary CB error to gift a goal.
OK, pretense over. I put Liverpool down for 3-0 and that may be naive, but this kind of game throws form out the window and I know despite everything said by players, both teams see this as the title decider, psychologically anyway. City can try play their possession game as much as they want, I actually love seeing Liverpool counter, Trent's at his best, Salah is due a goal fest, loves the big games, so does Mane really, and while Jota's been key to breaking down stubborn defences I'd love to see how he does on the big stage. Firmino is always my favourite guy up front and I bet you he's keen to show his mates up.
You're right, we used to pound them down to dust with the pressing, I forever remember Robbo chasing down players passing back all the way to the keeper, and the fear in their eyes, and I thought it would happen the last time too -- but our defence haha.
@LFC_Bitcoin I'm hoping good ol' Klopp plays both games with his best squad, I feel like we can afford to, with the Benfica result. I do feel your nerves but on the other hand, if we were to knock City out on all 3 fronts, it could be the hammer blow they may not know how to deal with for seasons to come. Klopp's proven his teams don't crumble from finishing second (all our lost finals, losing EPL by a point). It would be one hell of a crushing blow for a reigning champ to lose 2 finals and a title on 1/2 points.
P.S. was supposed to have a family thing this weekend and I have not once in 2+ years asked to prioritise my football (last time I did was UCL final haha).
