If you're a Liverpool fan, somehow every game feels like a final. This game against Tottenham definitely has me worried, think they've been playing some decent football, and while I should be confident, we always seem to struggle a little against them. Especially, since they're probably the very definition of a good counter attacking team. I had Manchester United for a clean sheet win at 2-0 but then I don't know why I was not convinced that they were going to win and changed to a draw 2-2.This shows that luck plays a big role in the pool beside skill as it is just luck that brought me to change the result and lose the points,I know many other persons in the pool change often their predictions after having put them so I would say we should never touch the initial prediction because rarely the changed one comes true.
Yeah, I think that's fairly obvious. Gambling is a lot of luck, at least with sports betting there's some sort of skill to it compared to lets say slots or something along that nature. I do think your later statement is probably superstition rather than fact though. Whatever you go for, it doesn't matter until what happens. There's so much unpredictability in sport, let alone football.

Probobly one of the most crucial rounds is now. I have dropped so much points that now the first place is a wish only. But now im even close to getting knocked out of top 10 and i even risked now with some results for this round and this could be a deadly mistake for me or a big advantage

Other than Chelsea losing to Everton, there weren't any other major upset, and there wasn't any match that ended in a draw either, probably the reason for your performance. The next round is much more tricky and the possibility of a couple matches ending in a draw is quite high, I do hope I'm able to get them right. Every point now matters so much at this stage.

Honestly, I think Chelsea are going to struggle against Wolves this week. Thinking of going with another 0 - 0, very nearly pulled that off with the Everton game last week. As for the Liverpool vs Tottenham game, if I was going to make a prediction, I'd probably go with a 3-1 to Liverpool. I think their defense is rather suspect, but their counter attacking can't be underestimated, and I think they'll ultimately end up grabbing a goal from the counter. Probably with Son getting the goal. I imagine Kane will be dropping deeper looking to feed Son in behind, and if they can beat our high defensive line, they might have a field day.

Liverpool is in top form now both in the Premier League and in Champions League which made a great turn of the result from losing 2-0 to winning 2-3 in just half an hour, this says it all about Liverpool.Tottenham or whatever other team they will face it is a sure thing they are going to win and most probably in a big way since they are playing in their home stadium before they great fans. On the pool though there are only 3 weeks left, enough points in play for people to try and fight for the top ten even some that are somewhat behind like 13-15 place can have a real go at it if they do well in these last rounds.

I've gone for a few 0-0s this week, but Chelsea isn't one of them. I think they'll be ok as Chelsea will need to make sure they stay in the CL spots. Looks like Leeds and Burnley are going to be fighting it out for the relegation battle. I think Everton will be ok with one game in hand on them both, especially if they grab any points from this weeks game against Leicester. Leeds likely won't get any points from their next two games. Shame if Leeds go down. Their squad will be absolutely decimated. Phillips, Meslier, Raphina will likely all go. I wonder if there's many contracts with relegation clauses? I doubt Leeds will bounce straight back.

as a fan, like what you think about Everton, but I think that only Burnley is secure agree that Leeds would probably not see a point in next two matches, but Burnley could secure their stay against Villa, and they seem ready to do that Everton needs points against Leicester, but we are worst team in a league on a side this season, so I am not so sure that it will come eventually - moreover last match against Arsenal would probably take us down to Championship (Brentford and Palace at home are our chances to stay)

I'm hoping Everton go down, simply because I was so frustrated playing against them, and well playing against their antics was infuriating. Other than that, it should be a exciting few weeks with both the top of the table, and the bottom of the table being very close. I do think Everton survives though, they've found a strategy which seems to be working for them recently. Phillips, Meslier, Raphina will likely all go. I wonder if there's many contracts with relegation clauses? I doubt Leeds will bounce straight back.
These are the only ones which I imagine would have regelation clauses, anyone else I doubt so. Although, like you say it's probably already settled that they'll be leaving in the summer. I guess the question is whether those clauses kick in or if they go for a decent fee. I think Raphina walks into a lot of mid table teams, and probably performs pretty well. Phillips I like, but I'm not quite sold on him yet.

Getting only a point from a bad United side, then losing to Lampard's poor Everton? And to a mistake on the ball? Yeah, extremely disappointing, so while I'm still going for a Chelsea prediction, I'd happily put money on Wolves DNB. Son-Kane are still the pairing I respect most in modern football, and the S Korean is chasing Salah for the Golden Boot, they'll be incentivised to try and close that gap. But that's great news for me because I'd want them to try and attack so we can go for their throats too. I've gone for a few 0-0s this week, but Chelsea isn't one of them. Yeah, it'll be a really sad story for me personally too, followed Leeds in Championship, and yeah, I had my thoughts about Bielsa and there was no option in the end but to sever the hand pulling them down underwater (though his was also the one pulling them up in the first place) but I feel like they've lost their soul already and it's apparent.

Aston Villa vs Burnley is the other game I'd say is in danger of being a 0 - 0. Aston Villa haven't been on top form recently, and Burnley will be very cautious since obviously they're playing for their survival in the Premier League. Honestly, that's the most interesting game for me out of the 15:00 kick off's. Son-Kane are still the pairing I respect most in modern football, and the S Korean is chasing Salah for the Golden Boot, they'll be incentivised to try and close that gap. But that's great news for me because I'd want them to try and attack so we can go for their throats too.
When both are on top of their game, Spurs look like title challengers, that's how good the pairing can be. They suit each other perfectly, and I think Kane has come to grips that he's better when he drops back, and Son makes the runs, whereas before I think Kane was always looking for those goals, which ultimately made him a worse player for a period of time. It'll be hard, I can't see us keeping a clean sheet, but if we do we'll need Alison on top of his game, as I expect they'll have a few chances with our high line.

Today Aston Villa together with Wolves ruined my great run during these first 4 games that has been played,I thought Burnley would not screw up as it was a very important game for them while Aston Villa is on the middle of the table not that motivated, meanwhile Chelsea going from bad to worse, they had the game in their control and they lost it in the additional time of the second half,in the very end of the game.
This late goals which are common in the Premier League can be a blessing for many people but for me mostly they have been just a curse.

Feels nasty isnt it, imagine how would the squad feel after losing a potential 3 points from this game lol. Chelsea only won once from their last 5 EPL games and now the 3rd to 4th spot race is going to be close one if Arsenal win their next one against Leeds. Its actually kinda funny that we have only two people that predicted draw on this game and both of them predicted the exact score for this. What a luck to nail that exact score by Ulven and Jayce

Good calls on Chelsea drawing Ulven and jayce. I didn't watch but saw they added 6 mins injury time, only for Coady to equalise in 97th min and the match to end 100'... screwed me out of an exact score, but most of us put that anyway. I knew Chelsea were wobbly but this is really bad for their standards. Hopefully they carry this form on to Wembley heh. Oh and goodbye Burnley new manager bounce? They're so going to regret booting Dyche.

Yeah, Kane should have figured that out earlier as he was supremo wearing an England shirt from deep positions, guess Conte's helped hammer that in. They're amazing to watch really. I still remember Son's solo as if it was recent, and that's pure and direct attacking instinct I just really like to watch. Just saw also Liverpool's had 140 offsides this season so far, 60 more than the next high line team (didn't mention who but I suspect City). So Alisson being on top 1v1 has been absolutely instrumental for when that line does fail (and it did often against Villareal and City heh, thank god we don't have them again).

Villa done us a favor, and won over Burnley a side, important points are down the line, and Burnley is again relegation candidate Leeds having Arsenal tomorrow, and we play Leicester, probably both without points United is down, is there anything new? Chelsea? if there is a few rounds more, I would be certain that Arsenal and Tottenham would take 3,4 position, but it is not out of reach with four matches, Chelsea is 6 points from Tottenham, 4 from Arsenal, with match more

Don't watch it and when I saw score, I had to check twice to be sure that's not mistake. Why such things always happens with MU? Ok, you can lose to Brighton, but get completely outplayed and destroyed 4:0 - you simply have to not respect yourself. Being Barca fans is difficult this season, but that's just one season, while MU fans have to experience for almost decade after Fergie era. And I think that joining MU from Ajax can be considered as step back in Ten Hag's career.

If that game lasted 10 more minutes they would have lost it for sure. I was thinking what a bad result and how team like Chelsea manages to fall apart against Wolves that can't score a goal this season? Than comes United and every other blunder this game week will not look so bad. Game of the day is just about to start, I don't remember Premier League ever having a match this late on weekends? Probably some TV rights stunt.

yeah, that is what I thought as well they are not playing at this time on weekends, probably TV rights, agree and it could be seen that they are not use to play in late hours on weekend, Liverpool is trying, but nothing more than that poor with goals in all matches this evening, all leagues

There is several games per season played on late Saturday slot. I think it was regular thing during Covid seasons when stadiums were empty. So far LFC looking a bit disappointing, but maybe it's not surprising, considering that they had not easy at all game against Villarreal this week.
