Dusk team is taking the right steps almost every time and i am sure that even in this market Dusk network project will deliver great results and create a great ecosystem.

I can not disagree with you, mate.
DUSK team have made almost right decisions at the phase of this project. They have made great initiatives to help the project faster developed.

Having a good comunity manager who is active on forums and social media is a huge plus and Dusk is certainly lucky to have chosen a right guy for this task. We are getting really close to their Ethfinex sale and the lunch of their token.

Yes, he is really active and second he seems to have a huge knowledge in his field.

Good points in Ivan's video about proof-of-work being a dead end, just look at the Bitcoin Cash mining hash wars going on right now, and proof-of-stake not being confidential, pointing out the necessity of an alternative consensus algorithm for the future of crypto.

That said there have been a lot of coins with made-up novelty consensus algorithms like proof-of-love, as well as permissioned, centralized ones such as proof-of-authority. It remains to be seen how effective DUSK's take on this will turn out in practice.

I agree that PoW is dead end but right now it's the most secure one regarding Bitcoin. My favourite one is DPoS but it can end up like Lisk (dlegates' cartel owning the network) or EOS (more or less same as Lisk)

Swaps are not so difficult these days. Send your tokens to a swap portal or they even do an auto swap. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

just hope they will organize a simple procedure for swap, for example sending old erc20 tokens to an mew address and receiving back the new tokens on the new blockchain/wallet...

EOS every day is becoming more and more popular, recently I saw ICO project - EOS Exchange. This can be promising investment, there was time when ETH cost $6.

Probably people think there would be more hype for ethfinex but seeing pledge barely passed 1m $ they may change their mind.

Remember DUSK has Second-by-Second (SbS) vesting. You can withdraw the percentage of tokens equal to the percentage of time passed between 1 December 2018 and 1 December 2019. If a quarter of a year has passed you can withdraw a quarter of your tokens and so on.

Yes, we are mainly looking for people who share the same longterm vision as we do. We have also removed any bonusses and implented a state of the art vesting system; Second-by-Second (SbS) vesting.

SbS works as follows;
We will deploy a smart contract which will vest allocations second by second. What this means in practice is that at any point a token investor wanted to release their tokens, they can make a call on the smart contract and then will have access to the total number of tokens that will have vested at that second.

As an example: after the lockup, tokens will be vested over 31,536,000 seconds (365 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes x 60 seconds). If they did it at exactly 6 months, they would receive half. If they did it at 1 day, then 10 days, then 57 days, and then every 3 weeks; they would receive the relevant whole tokens (rounded down) at each specific second.

I've been unclear, then what is traded on Ethfinex? If the blocked tokens can be withdraw according to a certain algorithm, then futures are traded on the exchange?

The exact details of the swap will be announced later but will most likely happen the traditional way (snapshots, new wallet etc). Yes, they will be listed on Bitfinex!

Since i believe this is not the end of crypto they are going to make the most out of the funds they will be collecting, if they hold on to it long enough.
