I think the Dev is on point on the message.  They already are giving miners bonus rewards, so by being generous in the giveaways, are attracting people without powerful mining setups, they are trying to grow the community for the coin, because thats what makes a coin truly grow.

Yeah, this has definitely been a launch done right.

Us?

We had issues for the first few hours of launch with no block being found, but that was corrected and I've since had several happy customers.  We're hitting blocks on average every 3-4 minutes.

I apologized for the problems at the beginning but that was absolutely no scam.  My issues with the launch we're fully documented in this thread and updates were provided to the miners.  I'm sorry that you feel this way, but the comments are unwarranted.

Well it was bound to come up! They had a problem with their pool and were getting 0 blocks!  So they lost too!  PM me your address and I'll give you some to show support for their pool.

That was just a lesson to stay on top of your miner and what it's doing.  You can't expect to set it and forget it at launch,  although I understand it was late for some people.  I had a hard time getting any of the pools to work for a while but after a bunch of heart ache I found the p2pool luckily and finally started hitting blocks.  I like to think I earned those coins I got at early diff. with my puny rig.

Need someone to Mod your board so you can focus on your coin?  Want someone to be there answering newcomer  questions for the launch of your coin?  PM me for more info.  I can help!

If you're sick of messing about with confirmation emails, JOIN THE P2POOL with the lowest fee of all the pools at 0.5% and guaranteed working payouts

point your miner to

cgminer --scrypt -o 107.170.35.84:9777 -u (your DNOTES wallet address) -p (anything you like)

guaranteed 100% working

Hey, can we get some discussion on what we're expecting from DNOTEs?  You know not demands or anything but what we like about it and where we think its going.  Not to mention for those of you who were here at launch can we get some comments on the relatively smooth launch(a few hiccups mostly with pools).   People need to know that this coin was a pretty fair launch in my view and that the majority of the pre-mine seems to be drying up fast!

I'm extremely impressed with the dev.
All the issues at launch were with pools (not my p2pool, by the way!)  Grin Grin Grin
The premine is legitimate with some overwhelmingly generous bounties. I think there is a great business plan in place here, and I would urge anyone to hang on to their DNOTES for a few weeks and see where all this goes. I'm sure it will hit a large exchange and the price will skyrocket.

Hi Tofer, you mentioned earlier ITT that you would throw some giveaways out to those that showed support for charity pools, even.

As we bandied about earlier, it was a good lesson for me to stay more on top of my miner during a launch. But, I did end up mining for 2 hours and got nothing.

But you know what? Here I am a day later, and I've been mining in CharityPools all day! I've been checking my miner from work, and it's been flawless all day.

So, rather than just lip service, I am voting with my feet and showing support. Hook a brother up with some scrilla!!!!!

Look up, hey I guess I could offer escrow to make it a little "safer" if you trust me (hint: don't, even though I stand firm in my pledge to never scam)
but I don't know, there seems to be no real safe way of doing things, and I don't think I'd like to bother with people trying to scam like claiming a transaction when there was none and me having to check the chain to confirm.
