Windows have lot less Memory free... have you got an Intel CPU to use his integrated GPU to leave more space to the 4Gb cards?

Yes, I use embedded GPU for my monitor. How should I leave more spaces for RX card?

Can someone please post a full Linux command line configuration, how to get a maximum ETH hashrate from RX580 4GB cards?

In RaveOS the latest version does not work, when starting the miner the platform it restarts using version 1.18 and 1.18A (worker_rebooting_by_flag_auto) this happens in my two 4GB platforms, instead version 1.17 works perfectly in both.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a problem with the version included in RaveOs?

im having the same symptom
i havent checked the other rigs cuz they all work with 4080 ZM 2
but the rig im having the same problems as u and cannot run at ZM 0
ZM 1 was low hashrate at first
but rebooting a few times then making sure the settings were right in logs got the desired outcome
im up 1-3 Mh per card across multiple rigs now

edit: im going to go make sure the pcie are all running gen 2
that rig is also running a pcie splitter which could be the problem

edit 2: yea maybe it doesnt work so much
the 4 "problem" cards (prolly the ones on the pcie splitter) dropped from 21Mh to 16Mh well under 1.17

If you don't have Gen2 the --zombie-tune 2 will not work and you should change 2 for 1 or 0.

The idea is to run miner-show, to see why it crash. Without that information is not possible to know where is the problem.

Best parameters with Gen2 are: --4g-alloc-size 4080 --zombie-tune 2

It could happen that GPU0, GPU2 can not run 4080, so it can be write it like:

--4g-alloc-size 4078,4080 ,4076,4080,... --zombie-tune 2

Choose each size for each card. And also same for --zombie-tune:

--4g-alloc-size 4078,4080 ,4076,4080,... --zombie-tune 0,2,1,0,2...

I hope that helps to have best optimisation.

2 is max optimisation
1 is medium optimisation
0 is like 1.17 with Watts improve

ZM 0 is why it crashed
it runs ZM 2 and 1 no problem
ZM 2 the 4 cards run about 7Mh
ZM 1 the 4 cards run about 17Mh
im assuming the hashrate drop is because of the pcie splitter, im swapping mobos later to make sure
but ZM 0 crashes all my rigs, not just the problem one

edit: the pcie splitter was my problem, prolly only runs gen 1
havent tried ZM 0 yet dont really need to
but all my 4GB rigs are running 4080 ZM 2

24mhs maybe till yesterday. Now in the new epoch I am getting 22mhs more or less.
Cards impossible to find at normal prices. Before this crazyness I didn't close a deal for 10 EUR per card...what a stupid idea ahahah

Which configuration line do you use for the 22Mhs?.

It would be helpful to have some lines to see the different config files

With windows you need a 1st card to let the 4Gb more space... so if you have a CPU Intel with integrated GPU active it and connect there the monitor or if you have a 8Gb card in the Rig put the 8Gb as first with the Monitor attached.

That will let you lot more space in the memory to mine... With linux it use lot less for this reason people can use 4076-4080...

Which configuration line do you use for the 22Mhs?.

It would be helpful to have some lines to see the different config files

this is the miner command generated by ethos:

su - ethos -c "/usr/bin/screen -c /opt/ethos/etc/screenrc.lolminer -l -L -dmS lolminer /opt/miners/lolminer/lolMiner --profile ETHOS --json /var/run/ethos/lolminer_config.json --devices 0,1,2,3,4,5 --4g-alloc-size 4080 --zombie-tune 2  "

this is the json file:

{
    "DEFAULTS": {
        "DEVICES": "AMD",
        "APIPORT": 42042
    },
    "ETHOS": {
        "COIN": "ETH",
        "POOLS": [
            {
                "POOL": "eu1.ethermine.org",
                "PORT": "4444",
                "USER": "MY_EMPTY_ADDRESS",
                "PASS": "x",
                "TLS": "0"
            }
        ]
    }
}

This is ethos config file:

maxgputemp 80
stratumproxy enabled
proxywallet MY_VERY_VERY_VERY_EMPTY_ADDRESS
proxypool1 eu1.ethermine.org:4444
poolpass1 x
fan 733d0f 20 35 30 35 35 40
globalminer lolminer
lolminer=flags --4g-alloc-size 4080 --zombie-tune 2 --coin ETH
safevolt disabled
cor 733d0f 1150 1150 1150 1150 1150 1150
mem 733d0f 2150 2050 2050 2050 2050 2050
vlt 733d0f 900 850 850 850 850 850

I think the picture of the user above about the 24mhs doesn't tell much. We need to see the shares and if the cards are getting rejected shares. Maybe it can also be the 580 is performing better than the 570 with this zombie mode.
With the config above I am getting 29mhs from the 8GB (two cards out of 6) and 22mhs from the 4GB cards (4 out of 6). Totally STABLE. I don't have time to stay all day long looking at the miners. I need to press a button and forget about them at least for one week.
The 8GB till the last update where getting 30.5mhs but it's like to speed up the 4GB the system is taking out something from the 8GB. The total however is very good. Hopefully with the 1.19 we will get even more!!!
