Your stats are confusing the hell outta me. They said I had over a thousand shares, then 500, and sometimes I couldn't see myself in the top 20 list. What gives?

Top miners stats are based on current round and are calculated every 10 min.
Lets say you have got 1000 shares in block N. Then block is solved. After 10 min you have got 500 shares, but in block N+1.

When stats were calculated at very beginning of round, variance of number delivered shares is high. That can significantly affect order on Top 20 list.

We have started a PPCoin pool! Smiley

1. You can use any BTC miner
2. On our website choose worker type PPC. Point worker to coinotron.com, port 8322 or 9322.
3. Depending on worker type you can have Proportional or PPS  rewards

FYI

PPC pool works fine. There were no issues with ppcoind or pool since start of PPC support.

Our first PPC block is confirmed (520 confirmations)! First 3 payouts have been sent.

Few days ago I analyzed August mining data. I found a large number of hopping miners. There was substantially more hopping in August than in previous months. I decided to disable proportional mining  in LTC and PPC pools.

LTC and PPC pools will become pure PPS pools.

Effective date is 2012-09-16, 9:00 UTC.

Payment methods and fees in Coinotron after that change:

BTC - DGM,
PPC - PPS,
LTC - PPS,
SC   - proportional,
LQC - proportional,

Does it reject all shares you cgminer submits or significant % of them? What is your username? Could you provide me with startup parameters for cgminer?

Coinotron has PPS LTC and PPC pools. Fee is 2%. Coins are available for payout after 520 (PPC) or 120 (LTC) confirmations.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Does that mean that the pool is using a SMPPS system?
