As you can see after printing arguments miner try to connect to the pool, once miner connected to the pool miner print "Connected".
On other side if something wrong with server or internet miner wait 10 seconds, after that miner print "Failed to connect to XXX"

First I want suggest you disable watchdog (--watchdog 0), disable pec (remove --pec from command line), enable log to file (--logfile miner.log), select one GPU (--devices 0) to locate problem.

Please try to execute followed bat file:

Remember connection timeout is 10 seconds, if miner failed to connect to the pool within 10 seconds it will report about this.
If you get freeze again, try select another device for test, for example (--devices 5)
Please show me your miner.log, I want resolve this situation.

I tried that command line and it wouldn't even create the log file and miner had same result. i removed --watchdog 0 from command line and the log file was created, but still same result with miner. curser blinks and nothing else happens. miner doesn't freeze, but doesn't do anything other than blink curser

1) you have to check swap file size in your system, remember you have 14 GPU, each one requires 2.5 GB for Equihash 144,5, thus you need 14x2.5GB = 35GB virtual memory (minimum)

2) try start mining on one GPU (pass --devices 0), add another one GPU if all ok (pass --devices 0 1), and so on...
