Half April and still no updates fromthe devs, it's starting to be boring.

And please, don't tell me they have been active or that they have a plan. I hear it already. But just look @others coins (ZEIT with a news feed in the OP, C2 where the dev team is über active). Those coins are active. Octo isn't at all atm

You're right. I think it's time to sell all your Octo and move on.... i'll buy it from you.

man, 60k Octos for only 1000$. thats +5000$ when it hits 0.10$   Smiley

 Cheesy

But the devs aren't active and the coin will never be worth 10 cents....

I'll buy 60,000 for $60... that's about .001 cents... i think that's fair for a coin that's not ever going to be worth anything. Smiley

Meh, you can just keep being pretentious as fuck, i'll dump as soon as cryptorush will be live. Either you will buy them, either not, I don't care.

Regarding the current mining revenue, I thought it was an OK price for true believers.

Excepting to make profit like you are doing, is nothing more but expecting something out of thin air. Keep going.

hehe i'm just giving you a hard time..... but still if you are selling them they would have to be cheap.

i'm not expecting to make a profit out of thin air, i have pushed a lot of mining power to only this coin and lost profits because i truly believe that in the long run i'll make a profit on this coin. i do realize that it could fail and that i won't make anything more than what the going price is right now. but, if the devs deliver on 1-3 of the big projects like a good integration for businesses to use octo, the gaming industry to use octo or if they have a good way to intergrate octo into fundraising like kickstarter, then i believe the return will be good.

once again it's just speculation. that's what got you into the coin and at this moment you don't seem too happy with the lack of the devs support and posts. and that's fine, it's your opinion but they have posted here and there. they posted the "soon" post recently and they donated .2 btc to edric for his host issues for his pool.

i don't know about you but no dev is going to give a pool operator a donation of $73 for no reason. yes, it would be nice if they updated more but honestly at this point we don't know why they aren't doing that.

so at this point all anyone can do is stick around to see what happens, or sell out and move on.

that's not being pretentious, it's being real. and i was just offering to buy your coins but if you don't think that they are going to be worth much, i don't see why you think they should sell for that high. i also say good luck in any dealings with cryptorush... i pulled my coins from that site. it was good to have octo there on an exchange that has some volume but you won't even be able to pull your btc off of there if you sell octo on there. the site is worthless.

anyways, i hope you stick around but the offer stands... if nobody buys, i'll buy your 60,000 for $60. you'd be better off just to hold it and see what happens when/if the devs deliver.

Don't take it that hard, your price was 4-5 times what we can get it on the exchanges...
But i just want to give you some good advice.
You can never win if you don't play a game till the end, and selling now is no option if you really want to make some good money.  Wink
There were people selling Blackcoin for 400-500 satoshis...and Doge for 20 satoshis and so on... And they maybe have learned it.
Plus i don't know a better coin than octo in the moment to mine or invest in.
We all are going a bit crazy because we don't see anything of the projects and that's not easy for us.
But just keep your octos and you'll maybe enjoy a big party without beeing stressed because you sold early.  Smiley
There's no better feeling than that. Don't blink!  Grin

I like octo, I sold a lot on cryptorush right before they started maintenance and took it offline, and made a good profit...anyway i still have some octo and I will mine form time to time.
Just to give you a tip, go invest and mine whitecoin, it is the same as blackcoin except more people are mining it than blackcoin back in the day, it has difficulty 440 and network of 20Gh/s. The other day i bought at 200 sat now it is stable at 985 satoshi even reached 1500, and it's only the third day and has 7 more days of mining until it becomes only POS.

mining whitecoin, holding octocoin, holding blackcoin, even holding zeitcoin, and those are all looking great in the last week... Smiley

if i had some BTC i'd be buying WC and 888 by the bucketful... so ludicrously cheap right now, if i was buying BC at 500 instead of at 2600 i'd have 5x my shitty little profits, my friends were buying at 10 and 20k, one at 50k... sigh.... the power to get in on something good early is definately captivating, and it on it's own is probably enough to allure the common folk towards many a scamcoin, i think that's the general fear of the naysayers for 888, but i'm not sure they're right here... octo could be big, BC big. it takes more than a month to build multiple software solutions from scratch you know, QA testing, deployment with partners etc... give them time. only a fool would dump their octo right now

A couple of weeks ago I transferred over 300k 888 from my old wallet to a new one just to prove a point.  There was no problem.  Do you have the latest wallet?

Yes, using latest version. I had a problem while sending some coins to exchange before. That transaction stuck at 0/unconfirmed so i had to do salvagewallet to cancel that transaction and got my balance back... but those coins from my balance i cant send to exchange again as they simply stuck at 0/unconfirmed again. Also below is some strange transaction when i send net amount of 217 coins but they somehow breakdown and sent as small amounts into the network to process transaction, why was that???  Huh
