Ok, who is putting 191 MH on the FusionHash pool? Somebody get a lot of Gridseed Blade's or go crazy on betarigs.com?  Grin Grin Grin
Now the network is over 500 MH. And I'm not even renting any rigs right now.  Shocked
Anyone know who makes up the other 250MH on the network? An unlisted pool, or possibly a multipool? Just curious.
Whoever is mining that many 888, please dump on me at bittrex!

Thanks JaggedMiner and ShellBunner for the Octo!
I've been busy at work today and writing the newest Octo news, and couldn't post earlier.

Stay tuned - I have something planned for next week  Cheesy

well if some of us want to rent rigs, it would behoove all of us to stagger who's renting at what times, ie. don't double book cause then the hashrate will just go up more, and you'll get less for your $ in rentals.

i'm interested in renting a 12 hour rig to try out at the moment, but i wanna make sure that none of you are planning the same Smiley

Good plan. I'm not going to be renting for quite some time. I'm sticking with buying for now.

Some people are selling. Not much, but a few of my buy orders have filled. I think anything under 1000 Satoshi is a steal, and I'm mighty tempted to buy the .5BTC of 888 below 1000 Satoshi. Must resist!!!!!

I was thinking the same exact thing. Some of these coins are 10x-20x more expensive than 888 right now, and they don't even come close to the quality of Octo. I'm a little bias, but I'm starting to wonder why hardly anyone has realized the potential Octocoin has. I guess I'll just keep buying till I run out of BTC.

After a good 2 days worth of fiddling I've got most of the cards shellbunner sent me up and running, doing about 1.8MH, not too bad!

For some reason I can only get the 7970 to around 550 without exploding, while the other 7950 is at about 670. Still have a lot of tweaking to do, I guess.

It's getting hot in here. lol

Hey Devs,

Any word on the wallet update? I have another unconfirmed large transaction. 30 blocks have been found since it showed up in my wallet, and it's still sitting with 0 confirms.
Shows on Bittrex.com as completed, and there is no record of it on the block explorer. I have seen transactions over 1,500,000 Octo go through no problem, so this one should have processed.

Thank you

My buy orders at 525 and 514, both were filled while I was sleeping. It's always a good feeling when you put in a couple of low-ball orders and wake to find they are filled.  Grin

21k Votes on Mintpal!  Wink

Also remember to vote at https://comkort.com/vote and https://www.swaphole.com/#!voting. We are a bit out at Comkort but are currently in 10th place at SwapHole. You can vote once per hour at both places.

More exchanges = more exposure for Octo!

Still, we can't vote on cryptsy.
So after the Octoinvestor talking to them we should at least be able to vote. Shouldn't we?
Maybe they made the deal and everybody is only waiting for the right moment.  Smiley

I'm honestly not sure what is going on with Cryptsy - the fact that it still isn't listed (and isn't even available to vote on) isn't part of the strategy. Now, we're in no rush to get listed on a major exchange from the perspective that it's keeping the multipools/etc away - especially when there are still bonus blocks out there. However, at the same time, we have 2 cloud-based programs finished that require a major exchange with an API to be production-ready. I would say continue to vote on MintPal and continue to contact Cryptsy inquiring about the status of 888 until we get through the bonus blocks. Then, at that point, we will reach out to our investors for an additional cash injection to help move 888 up the list at MintPal if-needed (although the closer we get without them the better so we can use more funds toward marketing/etc). I anticipate a flood of insanity as soon as OctoCoin is listed at Cryptsy and/or MintPal so we should be glad we've been sticking to this casual pace.

We are behind schedule on the new client being released but only because it will be the full upgrade we had planned initially - we have been experimenting with some additional functionality as well now that one of our devs has finished his main OctoCoin project and has some additional time. We're cruising along.
