Still, we can't vote on cryptsy. So after the Octoinvestor talking to them we should at least be able to vote. Shouldn't we? Maybe they made the deal and everybody is only waiting for the right moment.  I'm honestly not sure what is going on with Cryptsy - the fact that it still isn't listed (and isn't even available to vote on) isn't part of the strategy. Now, we're in no rush to get listed on a major exchange from the perspective that it's keeping the multipools/etc away - especially when there are still bonus blocks out there. However, at the same time, we have 2 cloud-based programs finished that require a major exchange with an API to be production-ready. I would say continue to vote on MintPal and continue to contact Cryptsy inquiring about the status of 888 until we get through the bonus blocks. Then, at that point, we will reach out to our investors for an additional cash injection to help move 888 up the list at MintPal if-needed (although the closer we get without them the better so we can use more funds toward marketing/etc). I anticipate a flood of insanity as soon as OctoCoin is listed at Cryptsy and/or MintPal so we should be glad we've been sticking to this casual pace. We are behind schedule on the new client being released but only because it will be the full upgrade we had planned initially - we have been experimenting with some additional functionality as well now that one of our devs has finished his main OctoCoin project and has some additional time. We're cruising along. +888 |

Yea, Mintpal seems to annoy me more everyday. It would be nice if Cryptsy or Mintpal would add us and not 25 more Pump n Dump or scam coins. They could surprise me later, but I don't think our developers will scam us. It's refreshing to have a honest community here. |

I just withdrew everything I had there just in case it's a DDOS related precursor to something more sinister. I was hoping to unload some crap other coins there today and put in a few new buys for 888... Guess I'll wait to see what's up. |

When I first heard of Octo, I was already hooked. I am 8er. Born on the 8th day, 1980, during the first minute of the 0800 hour - Octo would be for me. Shout out to Fedaykin and your pool. I like it better than any I have been on so far.  Makes me feel cool like the emoticon. |

It's like just seeing it on the voting gives you some relief that it will be there soon. Plus we have to remember just being voted and added to cryptsy doesn't mean a good price right away. Murraycoin took forever to get to cryptsy and hasn't done much since it got there. Once we are on there the dev's and community will have to impress to get ppl buying. I still believe both Murray and Octo will do big numbers though. Just a matter of time. |

Being added to a big exchange will not inherently increase OctoCoin's value, it will increase its volume and availability. Ultimately it is the advertising, hype, innovation, and projects a coin brings to the table that makes it have value But its definitely a good start |
