I bought the software but I have a long way to go in learning to understand how to use it.

Initially I had great success; earning around 0.0002 BTC in 12 hours yesterday, but today is a different story...

Costly stupid mistakes I've already made:

Not checking that my Cryptopia API was still usable before sending it to Sampey so it will cost another .01 BTC to activate it.
Letting it run on 400 Ripple without understanding algo parameters: Lost 200 Ripple as it traded loss after loss, unchecked.

Right now I've pulled all the markets and only focusing on one until I figure out what the hell I'm doing. Can't really afford to lose anymore.

So yeah. I'm struggling with it.

I'm only 4 weeks into the Cryptocurrency world so any words of encouragement for trying to attempt to learn something new would really be helpful right now.

Thanks for the encouragement. I agree with you. I had what I thought was a successful first day with the software and became too bold. It's my fault. I've learnt my lesson and as you said I'll have to revert back to small trades until I find a strategy that works for me.

I was too impatient but for me that stems from the fact that I have very limited time. I'll get there in the end.

1. How long did it took you to break even with the investment?
2. What was your worst thing/loss? What was the best?
3. How long have you been using the BOT? How often and what is your real gain till  now ( in % is enough)?

1. i didn't use CAT long enough yet - too busy and still trying to find perfect setup.
2. i am struggling to have really good statistics - since i am not only trading with CAT, I am still struggling to find out how much it really gained me in total - however every time i tested/used it, i had 10-30 successful ping pong cycles of 0,6-1% gain each. then i think once or twice i had a 5% stop loss triggering.... but as said i am not using it long enough.
3. really using less than a month, however i got the license half a year already, its complex, but when you get the hang of it i imagine it is really cool to have a tool trade for you all day on that many markets.
 
I can only say - Sampey is doing super good support and is usually online/replying very quickly and straight forward helping. the software works well so far, but it is complex, as mentioned here its not a "set and forget" auto trading bot, it's a bot that needs you to select the right markets, do the right setup for that market situation and monitor it (monitor more if you have your setup less perfect, monitor less if you have set up more precisely covering all the situations that can appear.

I couldn't see if somebody answered. I try to give you some hints:

1. How long it takes to break even with the purchase of C.A.T.  and gains depends on your trading quantity. I gain per week about 16.2%

2. I don't use stop loss, because if its too tight, the bot reverse the last trades, just because a normal price swing. If its too wide, then you might lose your entire gains of the past. I restart C.A.T. daily! That's with 9 exchanges and a total of 25 coins work! But the gain shows me the last day only. I also use a server to send each gain to. There I have a web site showing me the result, updated every 2 min. You could also use a certain amount of life-long and sell then all to the initial coin.

Since Bitcointalk isn't friendly to new users (limited amount of messages per day, at time you need help most, I have setup a Telegram group (https://t.me/joinchat/CmyUwhITJOcnAjhCLAu1-g). You can join and get so quicker answered. This group has also a bot included. If it spots a trigger word like "buy" (but not "buyer") the bot will answer automatically. As more people talk, as smarter the bit gets. I'm on telegram 19 of 24 hours available, ...

How do I 'Make a Post to URL When a Ping-Pong is Completed'

I've google it but didn't get anywhere. Just send me a link on how to do it and I'll figure it out.

In other news: I booted up the software again yesterday (Seems like Sunday's are fast becoming 'crypto' days) and had a 3.5% gain in 12 hours. I tend to read the logs more often now that I kind of understand what's happening. I'm yet to experiment with the more advanced ping-pong parameters though.

Sampey, good to have you back.

Can you please add a column to Gain, NetGain which should be calculated as: NetGain = Total Gain - Total Fee.   To make it more obviously, in RED if its negative.

When I discovered that I had positive Gains, but the Total Fee was higher, I tweaked on the settings. I increased first the Min % Guaranteed Gain multiple times by 0.1%, till the Gain - Total Fee became positive.

I also tried to use a Filter:
Skip Sell Orders With Qty<0.1
Skip Buy Orders With Qty<0.1

However, it continued happily with (pong) quantities of 0.00000096, which gives me negative gains, or at least a useless lines in gain of 0.0000000 0.0000000 0.0000000 (No Total Fee, No Gain, ...)

It seemed to stop, when I deleted this trade and started new.

In case it matters, I use 5.2
