The list of DT1 members includes bounty hunter gospodin. I've never seen anything like this before.

I can't read his posts, but it doesn't look like the typical bounty spammer who only posts links to Twitter and Facebook. But he has several users who haven't left any feedback on his Trust list.

Agree with LoyceV here, the assessment that gospodin is mainly a bounty hunter would be grossly incorrect.

He has very clever and informative messages all over the local forum (and several in Russian too), almost unanimously liked for his sincere and fun attitude,

and I would estimate 90% of his posts are primarily motivated by a genuine interest to contribute to and learn from the crypto community.

Personally, I see no reason to trust such a user and adding him to the DefaultTrust looks very strange. Am I right to understand that you can trust user feedback without proof?

It's good that it looks strange, and it's fine if you don't trust them. That is one of the best examples that this new DT-1 selection process is working. It's meant to capture varying opinions and perspectives on trust related issues. Everyone has different reasons for their inclusions and why they feel someones feedback, flag support, or general approach to forum dealings. It helps provide a much more rounded trust system, a far cry from the old method.
Not sure what you mean by trust a user feedback without proof. I don't use Default trust, I've made my own custom trust list, which is something all members should do at some point once they get the handle of the system. From what I can tell they have left feedback, each with a reference if that's what you mean by proof. Enough people out there obviously trust them and their judgement so who am I to say that they aren't worthy to show feedback to Newbies by default.
Now if you have any reason besides them being a bounty hunter that they shouldn't be trusted. You can start a reputation thread,or PM people who have included them and make a case. The DT system allows for dt-1 inclusions to remove users after they've been voted in.

I do not encourage anybody to exclude this user from their trust list or to put "~" in front of their nickname, and I have no reason to create a topic in the Reputation section. I just expressed my surprised opinion. The DT system is much more decentralized than before and this user's entry in the DT1 list demonstrates this very well.

It's not how you set up your trust list that worries me anymore, it's what the newcomer's trust list will be like. After all, theymos did not make the newbies' trust list empty by default, but added DefaultTrust to it.

This happened because all languages except Russian and English were disabled in my account settings (Boards to Ignore). From now on, I will use the default account settings. You can be blacklisted from DT1 (not from DT2) if you want, just PM theymos and ask.

However, if you want to do something against scams on your local board, DT1 powers (when used wisely) can be very  helpful.

You (and other local members) could leave red trust for scammers yourselves, for a start. You've left one negative trust in two years, to someone apparently for trolling.
Leaving red trust for scammers and starting Scam Accusations are not solely the preserve of DT members.

It will only show on the recipient's feedback in the "untrusted" section if you are not on DT (or the viewer's custom list) but yeah, if you see a scam or a scammer, use the system as much as you can to expose them.
Also, anyone can start a flag against a scammer by posting supporting evidence for it.

Absolutely we'll translate. I mentioned in Turkish in at least 3 different places how DT1 trust feedback works, but maybe an illustrated

comprehensive guide can send a more clear message. Thanks.

When you say "advanced", I'm thinking about all the details of DT1-selection including Merit requirements. There are a lot of details, but most of them don't matter for the correct use of feedback and Trust lists. If enough users use it in the right way, the system should work even when most users don't understand the details of DefaultTrust selection.

I've also considered to create a detailed guide for our local board, especially explaining the difference between trust (feedback) and trust list. But my free time is extremely limited and I had no chance to start writing it yet. If you don't mind I would also use your guide and possibly add few points below.
