Bangladesh started the game very well but Bangladesh could not finish well. Especially since they couldn't keep Afghanistan from scoring runs later on. Although Afghanistan lost several wickets initially, Mohammed Nabi and Azmatullah Omarzai managed to put the Afghanistan team in a strong position and managed to score 154 runs in all. Since Bangladesh have to bat at a target of 155 runs, here I will keep Afghanistan ahead because it cannot be said for sure whether the Bangladeshi batsmen will be able to get proper runs against these three spinners Rashid Khan, Muzeeb Ur Rahman, Mohammed Nabi.

What an thrilling 1st T20 match between Afghanistan vs Bangladesh. Ban showed remarkable performance Despite making an easy target 155 runs seem difficult. But the partnership between Tawheed Hriday and Shamim Hossain brought back hope for Bangladesh. The last 20th over brought some tense moments but Bangladesh emerged victorious winning by 2 wickets with only 1 ball left. Afghanistan Karim Jannat's hat trick was an outstanding display of bowling. There was a lot of drama in the last over. Bangladesh needed six runs from six balls. Somehow the bowler picked up a hat trick in the last over . That certainly jeopardized the chance of Bangladesh winning this match. But luckily Bangladesh was able to win without any big problem. I was having flashbacks of the match between Bangladesh and India, which was probably the Asia Cup final where Bangladesh lost by one run. Luckily that did not happen. A target of 155 runs is big enough on such a pitch. And Bangladesh lost the first three batsmen of their top order for just 39 runs. They also lost the wicket of Shakib while collecting 64 runs. After that responsible batting by the duo of Towhid Hridoy and Shamim paved the way for Bangladesh to win. Hridoy remained unbeaten on 47 runs and Shamim played an innings of 33 runs.
