Another 220 total. It looks like big totals have become a trend in this IPL. That said, at least during the next auctions SRH needs to do something to strengthen their bowling. Apart from Rashid Khan, and to an extent Bhuvneshwar Kumar, none of their bowlers are capable of competing in the IPL. Sandeep Sharma has failed again and again. Khaleel Ahmed has been horrendous this season. And then Vijay Shankar is neither good in bowling, nor in batting.

I agree. This is easily the worst season for SRH so far and am not surprised. Their continued reliance on their local talent who have been consistently delivering below average performances has become their biggest weakness.

Pandey, Rashid and Bhuvi are the only decent Indian players in their team currently. Axing Warner was a bad move in my opinion since that could have demotivated the team overall. They need to change the selectors too.

Rashid? Dude, Rashid is not an Indian citizen. He represents Afghanistan and therefore the 4-player overseas limit is applicable for him as well. He is based in India and speaks fluent Hindi, so a lot of people think that he's Indian. But overall, the Indian contingent is the problem. Natarajan is absent due to injury, and that leaves just two quality local players (as you mentioned, Pandey and Bhuvi). Others are just making up the numbers.

If T. Natarajan was in the squad, maybe SRH points would not be at the bottom of the table. SRH has played 7 matches and won only 1 match. SRH's squad has some great batsmen, but they are failing to maintain the continuity of performance. On the other hand, I do not see any other experienced bowler in the squad except Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan. If Bhubaneswar Kumar and T. Natarajan could have been regulars in the squad, SRH's performance would have been better.

Bad IPL Sunday for me. Both predictions turned out to be wrong. SRH got whopped by RR and DC screwed Punjab easily. Didn't expect Rahul to become unhealthy suddenly. This is a huge blow to Punjab.

So many people are testing positive for COVID 19 inside the IPL bubble and there is a good chance that the tournament may get postponed. Now the question is what will happen to this pool? If I understand the rules correctly, the pool will also be paused (please rectify me in case I am wrong). For the Kolkata Knight Riders, some of their key players such as Varun Chakravarthy have tested positive. The BCCI is still claiming that the bubble was not breached and Chakravarthy was exposed when he left the bubble through the "green channel" and visited a nearby hospital to get a shoulder scan. Somehow I think that this story is not entirely believable.

If it gets postponed, although i doubt it but in case of any mishappening it does gets cancelled then i would prefer pool amount should go to upcoming T-20 World Cup pool, at least that's what i want with my entry fees.  Other suggestions are also welcome.

Thanks for the confirmation Royse777. The BCCI is claiming that they don't need to postpone the tournament and the other players are fine. But I have my own doubts. The double-mutant strain of COVID 19, which is prevalent in India nowadays is highly contagious and airborne. If some of the players came in to contact with either Chakravarthy or Warrier, then they need to wait for a few days before confirming that they are not infected. This is going to be real bad news for the BCCI. They will be regretting the decision to turn down UAE's offer to host the tournament.

I don't think it will get postponed or cancelled. They already mentioned that the worst case scenario is shifting to the UAE which will probably happen soon due to the current rapid spread of the virus.

However, if it actually does get cancelled(Highly doubtful), I second your suggestion regarding shifting the fees towards the T-20 World Cup.

Reports are coming in that Today's game SRH vs MI match is also postponed as Saha tested positive.

They were eying the T-20 WC hosting rights and wanted to make statement by organizing IPL, didn't turn out well unfortunately. Now all they can do is damage control.

It's really going to be a hard time finding out the winner now.  Also feeling too sad for RCB fans Even though the playoffs were far away still I think they had a good chance of winning this time. The happiest man here would be KL Rahul  He was all set to miss the IPL so he made sure there is no IPL this time  So am I getting 25% of the pool now? I am OK with both the options. Either the funds can be kept as such, and let's resume the pool when the tournament resumes. Or, it can be transferred to the pool for T20 world cup (I would prefer the first option though). Out of the 60 matches, only 29 matches have been completed, so declaring the winners based on current standing is not the right thing to do. Anyway, let's wait and ask Royse777 how he want to proceed. I am sure that he'll take a decision that is palatable to everyone.

Sad thing for the Australians is that their PM basically abandoned them temporarily until the middle of this month. They never expected the 2nd wave to be worse than the first wave just like majority of Indians. Sad times!

I think I will prefer to wait until the next IPL or this one resumes. Moving the fund to world cup or any other tournament will not be fair because that's totally two different type of events.

It's unfortunate that the bubble bursts. It would be better if they had the tournament in Abu Dhabi. Anyway, let's hope for the best.

The pool has been paused because the tournament has been suspended for indefinite time. We will wait for resume or the pool will be added with the pool we will have for the next IPL

Arey Royse Bhai.. Next IPL is way too far, almost 1 year gap. In case IPL doesn't gets kick starts in coming months, it would be good to direct all funds to T-20 WC which is schedule in September. Or better idea would be let the community vote?
