I also see it that way. There are no big names besides Lewis and Spivac, if it weren't for these two, fewer ticker buyers may go.
This could however be a good time for Dana to look for new talents from Asia. Few Asian talents have faded from UFC, the Korean Zombie retired already.

Crazy footage online posted by Conor McGregor showing the aftermath of him being hit by a car while on a bike ride. Pretty scary. He seemed in good spirits and forgiving of the guy who hit him, who then gave him a ride and appeared on camera driving him. Athletes really shouldn’t be training outside on bikes like this because things like this can happen. As sad as it is to say, you can’t trust people to not do stupid things like hit a bicyclist when they aren’t paying attention. Luckily it seems no major harm was done and McGregor kept his cool.

Actually, I have honestly been spoiled especially because of Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Anderson Silva, and a lot of others. I have seen them fight. So it is going to be really hard for me to find interest in these types of fights which are happening on the 4th of February.
I also followed the whole fight for all the different divisions even though Khabib is my best fighter but he has retired and some fighter from Russia will potentially regenerate "The young Khabib" to represent him for the future. I've reviewed the feb 5th fight list but I don't have a reliable fight and it's not like I missed watching that fight. Actually, in my time zone, it's going to be on 5th February but that's all right. I am also not going to give any predictions. Because even though I say I am not going to follow this event very closely, I know that almost every fight in this event is going to be very competitive and close.
Each fighting event has the advantages of each fighter, the fight is not a big PPV event but the list of fighters might be potential candidates to fight the belt owner in the next fight, I am interested in analyzing the fight between Jaka Seragih vs Anshul Jubli for the Road to UFC final fight.

There's been a few pictures floating around of him jogging along the road, and he looks considerably thinner. Now, I don't know how accurate these photos are. We won't know until the weigh I suppose. Obviously, he's not going to end up losing like 100lbs, since he'd be in a different weight class . However, I think it's more than 5 pounds judging on the recent photos. I know you can't rely on that information before your bet, but if he is considerably lighter come the weigh ins I'll definitely be taking that into consideration. Although, he had power to spare to be fair, and it might even help him keep up with the volume much more than usual. Since, he's usually very relaxed, and doesn't throw much until he can get that one big punch. Here's the thing tho, once a person start working out to lose fat but the adds muscle, he could still be around the 260 area and still stay in a weight that he's used to and can maintain the strength in his punches. But you got a point, best to wait for weigh ins. Just looked at the full card for the 4th of Feb. Honestly, I'm not all that hyped about this event. We've got some well matched fights, but really other than Spivak, and Derrick we don't really have any big names competing on the day. Feel like this might be one of those events that doesn't look great on paper because of the lack of names, but actually turns out to be one of the better more competitive nights.
I'm just excited to see Jon Jones back in action, so I'll forgive them for their lack of big names on this event. I'll probably give this a miss in terms of betting though. I'll still get some predictions out.
Yup me too. Lol. But as always, I just want to watch those guys throw leather and make some bets. And a lot of those fighters are from Asia which should be good as there could be more stand up battles. But there's also Bellator 290 tho which looks decent. https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/95280-bellator-290-bader-vs-emelianenko-2 I also see it that way. There are no big names besides Lewis and Spivac, if it weren't for these two, fewer ticker buyers may go.

Watch this guy Tatsuro Taira. He is pretty good. https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/145595-tatsuro-taira

Did you hear about Conor McGregor having accident while riding his bike when car hit him, luckily he avoided serious injury or death? Just imagine this driver when he saw that man he hit was celebrity, he was saying many times that he is sorry but Connor didn't ask anything from him. It's funny that he recorded video shortly after this incident happened. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7Yg1mmcSX4Athletes really shouldn’t be training outside on bikes like this because things like this can happen. What do you expect them to do, to lock inside a basement to avoid injuries? Accidents can happen walking, driving, swimming, standing, sleeping or trianing so there are no rules.

Well, I'll probably catch some hockey, and some other non UFC mma this weekend considering it's not on. Can't say I'm too excited about next week either in terms of names. Should be some hard fought battles though, and as tokeweed suggests could be a lot of stand up battles. Crazy footage online posted by Conor McGregor showing the aftermath of him being hit by a car while on a bike ride. Pretty scary. He seemed in good spirits and forgiving of the guy who hit him, who then gave him a ride and appeared on camera driving him. Seems to have not sustained any serious injuries too, so it shouldn't effect his comeback, whenever that is. I haven't seen the video yet, but it's actually quite refreshing to hear he was nice after the incident. I know a lot of the fans are speculating that this is set up due to his recent allegations, but I'm not sure if that has any substance at all. Sometimes, people can be nice when bad things happen, and usually it's in times like this where it could've gone much worse.

Accidents can happen walking, driving, swimming, standing, sleeping or trianing so there are no rules. ^ If you are living a life, you are going to have injuries and issues. We cannot just cut our heads off because we have a headache right? So, I do not think not allowing athletes to go outside is a good solution. And athletes have a very extravagant life. So, they are actually more likely to go outside and have fun. So, of course, they are going to go out on a bike or car, whichever they prefer. Accidents are going to happen because that's just how it is. You just have to be careful as an athlete. We have seen a lot of famous people die because of car accidents. But sadly there are no substitutions for it.

That is what always make me smile. We have a champion, that does not look like a champion and no one think that he will last long. I also think that light heavyweight belt wont stay long on Hills waist. But take a look on Sterling. Everything thought that he is a fake or paper champ, but he has now two title defences, and he is a champ for almost 2 years already.
Well many also think the same, but in my own assessment Glover Texeira is pretty much different when he fought Jiri Prochazka, than with Jamahal Hill, but pretty much I don't really want to belittle Hill but he is more reserved in fighting Texeira once he saw that Texeira's punches aren't really damaging anymore, well Jamahal Hill's game plan against Glover Texeira was very effective defending all takedowns, of Texeira and surely his fight IQ was really the one that has Glover back and pressures it with long-distance strikes for me I am saying this maybe I haven't seen Jamahal Hill's full capacity, maybe if he would fight Jiri Prochazka or fighters in the top 5 I think that is a different story to tell, I also see it that way. There are no big names besides Lewis and Spivac, if it weren't for these two, fewer ticker buyers may go.
This could however be a good time for Dana to look for new talents from Asia. Few Asian talents have faded from UFC, the Korean Zombie retired already.
I think many will not be interested in the UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Spivac because surely Derrick Lewis, Serghei Spivac, and let's also add Marcin Tybura for me even though he has lost to Alexander Volkov for me I have known him since his Augusto Sakai fight, I think he has a decent record in this event, but let's see his opponent and definitely will surely going to share my picks on what I think may conclude in the UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Spivac event,

Whenever we see a bike accident, we are generally very scared because bike accidents are not very good for any biker. Because compared to a car, a bike does not have too much safety. And that can often cause any bike rider to have a serious injury. It's actually very good that nothing like that happened. And it does not seem like he had any serious injuries. And he should be all right in a maximum of a week or two.

It looks like it's official folks... It's gonna be a rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira for UFC 287. Kinda disappointed as I thought Adesanya was gonna take the back seat a bit and rest. I was expecting Robert Whittaker to get his shot against Pereira. That would've been a more intruiging match up imho. It was also announced that the co main event will be Gilbert Burns vs Jorge Masvidal. Been a while since we saw Masvidal in there. I think he gets starched by Burns. Lol. UFC 287 Announcementhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkDjcqO5O2oHere's a fight vid. Enjoy. Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane, and then Leon Edwards vs Kamaru Usman 2 in the same month? Absolutely brillaint month, and I know that they'll stack those cards up as much as possible. So, we'll likely see some very good co mains. Not sure, if they've already been confirmed or not. I saw that Izzy gets his chance at the title again, in like April? I think that's what I remember reading yesterday. Not sure if he's going to do it, he doesn't seem to be able to stay safe, despite dominating every fight he has with Alex.
We've got some big fights ahead of us lads. Can't wait for Jon Jones' return personally. See, what level he's at. He'll either be very rusty, and then that eight fight contract looks a little silly or he'll dominate the division for the entirety of those eight fights.

^ Jon Jones' wrestling advantage should be enough to take on Gane, grind him against the cage and take him down eventually. Dunno.. I just can't imagine a scenario that gives Gane the advantage. And who knows, Jones could end up making it look easy.
As for Adesanya vs Pereira, yeah, I think Pereira gets the W again. He's just way bigger and stronger than Adesanya. And now knowing that he could stay in there and take Adesanya out when he tries to throw more volume makes me think that he's gonna try to throw more volume right off the bat and could give Adesanya more trouble.

That's my thoughts, depends on his fitness coming into it, but I imagine he'll be in top shape. Bit of cage rustiness, but I feel like wrestlers don't really suffer from that as much as predominately strikers would. I haven't actually watched much of Jon Jones live, his time was before I was really into MMA, so I've only caught highlights so I'm particularly excited about watching him live. Alright, I don't agree or condone what he has done outside the cage, but inside the cage he's truly brilliant. Yeah, I think Pereira does. Whether it's just his kryptonite, Izzy just can't seem to do it. He dominated that fight right up until the end. So, I know Izzy is more than capable, and in fact at the end of the first or second round he actually rocked Alex pretty bad. If it wasn't the end of the round that could've been the end right there for Alex. Since, both of these fighters when in trouble stay standing, and don't actually dive for the legs. So, usually when they get rocked that's the end.

I have to say one thing. When a fighter stays away from fighting for quite a long time and returns into fighting, the punches that he eats does hurt a little more. So, I do not know how he is going to perform after his return. But I also think that he is not going to suffer a lot because he is not a striker as much as he is a wrestler. And honestly, I have seen Jon Jones live, is actually as good as they say that he is. Adesanya feels like he is not as good as he was before. Or maybe it's just me, I feel like he was more stylish and dominant before. But I also want to say that I don't think he has become a bad fighter just because he does not show any style as he did before. It's like we have been saying him doing crazy things and we expect craziness from him, not come and collectiveness.

Jon Jones is returning because he is fully prepared to make his come back physically and mentally to be in the Heavy Weight division and there is no doubt he will be dominating the division and the most interesting aspect is one punch can change the fight with heavier guys and how Jones will be able to counter that and i believe he will be focusing more on his wrestling as he is training with Henry Cejudo and that is how he might be countering the heavy punches .

It looks like it's official folks... It's gonna be a rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira for UFC 287. Kinda disappointed as I thought Adesanya was gonna take the back seat a bit and rest.
Adesanya doesn't like to make big breaks between fighting and I am really interested if he can beat Pereira in second fight. Losing again from him would be a serious set back but I think he can win with good strategy and mindset, if both of them are healthy and ready in April. We've got some big fights ahead of us lads. Can't wait for Jon Jones' return personally. See, what level he's at. He'll either be very rusty, and then that eight fight contract looks a little silly or he'll dominate the division for the entirety of those eight fights.
We all know Ngannou would beat both of them now in heavyweight category, so winner of this fight will have to face him sooner or later. If Gane wins then we know who is better, but I really want to see Jones getting beaten by Ngannou in some super fight. Not fighting for more than three years in octagon is serious setback for anyone including Jones.

I don't know if I know that, since Jones is one of the greatest to have entered the cage. However, I would be supporting Ngannou if that fight ever did happen. I think that ship has sailed now though, don't think we'll see Francis again in the UFC, which is an absolute shame. Seemed like a great guy, delivered entering fights, and the super star fight that him vs Jones would've been. Dana would've been happy too since he would've profited insanely off of that fight. Assuming, Jones does well against Gane of course. The most interesting part of it is that Jones is making his comeback in a weight class up, now even fighters that move up in full swing of their career have struggled with that. Izzy being the latest one, alright he was significantly underweight against Jan, but it still goes. Jones, might not be the same fighter. However, due to his wrestling focused approach, I think he'll transition a lot better than Izzy did who really struggled with that threat of a takedown, and not having much of a ground game.

Bike Accidents really are not a good thing to see when a rider would end up losing his life as a result of it, it was never been really good to see such things and I think that Conor McGregor is really thankful for still being alive today despite on what happen he surely still wants to return to the UFC, the potential for survival on most vehicular accidents that are in a motorbike is very slim so Conor McGregor should be thankful that he is still breathing It looks like it's official folks... Enjoy. UFC Free Fight: Josh Emmet vs Calvin Kattarhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKH2a0KVhiII have seen the announcement and surely it felt premature or it was just an early announcement but this is just what I felt the fight will be on April 8, this year, and I think Israel Adesanya is really ready for this Adesanya just like their match with Kickboxing was winning in the 1st few rounds but suddenly it was all taken away in the last round, while Jorge Masvidal is returning versus Gilbert Burns and the young Raul Rosas Jr. is taking on Christian Rodriguez but I think the 18 years old may prevail this in my opinion, And so the game isn't really over and Alex Pereira's weakness was all seen in their fight, I really don't know if Pereira will now be stepping up and do some wrestling aswell but I think Israel Adesanya would have to be like Khamzat Chimaev taken down Pereira on the 1st round, that will be a game changer plan for him,

Izzy didn't perform well in adding weight against Jan. He is better in his current division, he caught Periera and was about to drop if it weren't for the bell Pereira would have been knocked out. Sure to expect a trilogy when in the rematch Izzy wins. It would cost a lot more the bring Ngannou back, it's been reported that he refused the $7M to stay in UFC. Jones vs Ngannou will be one of the fights that will never happen if UFC is not willing to give more than that. Meanwhile, Ngannou seems to be negotiating already in boxing.

I guess it depends on how his boxing career goes, as I assume that's his next chapter in his career. If he doesn't perform well in boxing, it could be a short lived career, and he could want back into the UFC, which then the UFC have some leverage. They'd probably negotiate a big contract still, but I'm not sure if it'll be to the same degree as the one offered this time, and it probably won't involve medical cover either. I wish the UFC would do that mind. Adequate medical insurance for all fighters on the roster, they could potentially negotiate smaller wages if they had that back up. Since, it's a risk for a fighter every time they step in there, that they could potentially rack up thousands upon thousands of medical bills.
