Chelsea really seem like they started fully focusing on the Champions League draw against Real Madrid. Otherwise, it means that Chelsea started having really big difficulties in winning games. 3 out of 4 remaining teams were involved with European Super League, I am not sure about PSG but from what I read they were involved at least a bit, even if not founders they were accepting the possibility which means ALL teams remaining in the champions league right now were part of it. You can go further back and Bayern, Porto, Dortmund and Liverpool all involved once again, so all 8 teams were involved, I can go back and find out about the rest but if you have 8 of the best teams in a league format, you do that, there is no going back.

Only thing that kept us from seeing this league was the greed of Uefa and that's it, nothing more. I am not saying that it is going to happen or should happen, under the threat of Uefa they couldn't do it and that makes sense, but if it were to happen without any problems coming from Uefa this would have been a great deal.

I agree that Chelsea really have to use a counter-attack strategy if they want to beat Real Madrid. Moreover, playing home for Real Madrid will
definitely take the initiative to attack. So Chelsea can take advantage of Madrid's defensive line that will move forward, and most importantly
Chelsea must apply direct passing. So when doing a counter-attack it can be very fast, let alone take advantage of Werner's speed, Chelsea
