Surely it's last day of First round with very interesting matches waiting for us few teams already having spots into second knockout round and now few are going to have their best chance, but they need to go through mission impossible in front of them teams like AC Milan and Barcelona in same boat but with some difference as AC Milan is having home match and Barcelona going to Germany for having their spot into next round.

I think that I'm going to watch the Milan v Liverpool match today. And I'll be supporting Milan as I want them to continue here by ending at the second position. This will be a completely open game for me because Bayern is already qualified for the next stage of the tournament and Barcelona desperately needs to win this one in order to advance. It will still be hard for Barcelona to win, because Bayern will definitely try to win this game to become more stable in the defense and to grow confidence but Barca definitely has a chance.

A lot of groups are already decided at least if it comes to which teams are advancing into the group stage of the Champions League. In Group A we still have a battle for the 3rd position of the table between RB Leipzig and Brügge. Leipzig will face ManCity at home and Brügge has to play against PSG in Paris. Usually i would say that Leipzig has the advantage here because they play at home but Guardiola always manages to motivate his teams even if the games are not so important and on the other hand we have PSG that showed a lot of times in the past that they don't really want to play "uninteresting" games like the one against Brügge today.

Klopp has said that he might rest some of his first team players. I don't know his reasons for this but their weekend match is Aston Villa, so why does he want to rest his players against the Serie A leader Ac Milan. But anyways if Klopp decides to rotate the team today, Ac Milan might likely win in San Siro. It will be the only way they can boost their chances of making it to the knockout phase, hoping Atletico Madrid and FC Porto share the spoils. Liverpool have already qualified to the next phase as pool winners so there is no need to come out with more force. They should rather channel their energy to maintaining that second spot and maybe go to first.
