Now scenario is completely changed. Pakistan at the moment need 80 runs in 30 overs with 3 wickets in hand. Clearly it's now England who has become favorite to win this game. These win predictors are useless as they make decision based on current scenario.

These predictions are made by bots so they are not completely professional . The bot makes these predictions by looking at the previous game performance of each team and according to the previous game results and capacity.  So they are not completely true . Meanwhile, England won by 74 runs even though Pakistan's winning rate was higher

What a brilliant performance by England! It's great to see England succeed. The courage they displayed, the risks they took, and the rewards they received were all rewarded. Unpredictable is something else but losing on a dead wicket shows that Pakistan has an incapable batting.

Everyone was asking why Pakistan make dead wickets in their home ground. Now we have the answer. They are unable to bat on the dead wicket, how can they bat if the wicket is green or even a little grass on it.

England really surprised the world that if the opponent is too defensive in creating dead wickets, they can still win the match.

Yes, England gave a really great performance. What I saw, England really played a very believable game. I thought England would score 1000 runs, but they didn't score as well as they did on the first day. But England did well in batting as well as bowling.  It showed a good performance. Agreed but its a game as anything can happen. There are 3 balls in game most important may be these three balls are going to be 3 Wickets or may be 3 six's or fours so let wait for next. I am curious now as test cricket i juat started to take it seriously. As far test cricket is concerned i think its not the age of test cricket. Yes, England gave a really great performance. What I saw, England really played a very believable game. There is no doubt about England performance but best thing was their brave decisions which helps them for winning this match and now having good advantage in this series on first day many negative comments and reviews about this pitch now ended with the England win which is third in Pakistan and one of the best for them because from first over of this test match their approach was aggressive which helps them for having good control.

Even Pakistani batting was also good in first inning but fourth inning pressure and their wrong strategy give them this defeat which mean now it's time for changing in mindset and their approach for the game against SENA countries which are having good strategy for win here in Pakistan now they lost two test matches out of four after big teams are starting tour here in Pakistan.

I already mention this many times here on this thread about Pakistani management tactics and their approach for the home series they have never been on right path which give them better results most of the time they play with negative mindset and pay for this as well same happening in this series and their mostly test playing players are also not good in technique which is another problem for them, but hopefully they will try to learn from these mistakes and try to fight back in this series even I have feeling they will not recover because now they are under pressure and surely will do more mistakes which will bring them down and their chances for the WTC final is also going to be ended losing eight wickets on flat pitch is surely never been expected from any top class team, but Pakistan can do things like these.

Now England have won the match, and have won the hearts of the Pakistani people for some reason. Pakistani batters were struggling against pacers but when spinners were introduced they were going after them. This is when a bulk of runs were scored by them. After lunch the agressive fielding and continuous pace attack destroyed the Pakistani batting line up.

James Anderson played a major role in the England victory yesterday. He is 40 years old, but still remain as the most threatening English bowler in the test format. I sincerely hope that he can keep on playing for another 2 years and maybe able to end up with some 750-800 test wickets (at this point he has 672 test wickets to his name). And I was disappointed to see Stuart Broad not playing at Pindi. The combination of Broad and Anderson has worked wonders for England in test. I don't know why the selectors always give preference to the younger guys.

In the end we have to admit that it was incredibly risky move from Ben Stokes. This is the same pitch where Pakistan made a total of 579 just two days ago. And somehow Stokes decided to gamble on an unlikely win rather than settling for a draw. This is a precious lesson for the PCB, not to prepare substandard matches for tests against quality teams. If the opponent has quality, they will win the match no matter how hard the curators try to create flat surfaces. The second test will start in three days from now at Multan. Hopefully the pitch quality will be better.

When this WTC cycle started, I was hoping that Pakistan might qualify for the Finals because

They were scheduled to play Aus, Eng and NZ at their home turf and Ban, WI, SL away from home. This kind of schedule is a dream for any test nation as far as the final is concerned.

But damn Pakistan is committed to harakiri and now they have to win their remaining matches and hope India and SA lose a couple of test matches.
