Bangladesh vs India 2nd Test match between these two countries has been tossed.  Now Bangladesh has come to the field to bat.  The match is being held at Sher Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.  We have to see how Bangladesh will play on their own ground.  It seems that Bangladesh will not be able to win this match with India in any way. We have seen many matches before that Bangladesh never performed well in those matches between India and Bangladesh.

Bangladesh won the toss and went into bat in the second Test of the Bangladesh vs India series. Bangladesh lost the first match with India by a huge margin of 188 runs and Bangladesh is trailing in the series. To save the series, there is no option for the Tigers to win the second Test.  Bangladesh has scored 32 runs in 12 overs so far. Nazmul Hasan santo collected 17 runs off 44 balls. And Zakir Hasan scored 15 runs off 31 balls. But let's see if Bangladesh can win today's series.

The Indian team management has completely gone mad or have left their brains somewhere. Why was Kuldeep Yadav dropped from the team? Such inconsistency in selecting and backing a spinner is the reason why India haven't found a replacement spinner who can play in all formats. He was the Player of the match in the first test and now dropped in the second.  Imagine what might be going through his mind from yesterday.

The problem is the players in Pakistan have made good names for themselves. But they are often failing to perform consistently and also fail to perform against bigger opponents. That is not good enough for them. I don’t know if Pakistan is going to play well against New Zealand. I think New Zealand is superior compared to Pakistan in test cricket. Especially the way Pakistan has played test cricket in this series, they have made it hard for people to trust themselves.

Pakistan is a team that is stronger in the limited overs format, when compared to the test format. The case with New Zealand is just the opposite. They are one of the strongest test teams in the world right now and were the winners of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship. Pakistan will be having the home advantage and that may prove to be the deciding factor. The two test matches will be played in Karachi and Multan, where the surfaces are more conductive to spin bowling. And New Zealand doesn't have a quality spin bowler, ever since the retirement of Daniel Vettori.

The current Kiwi team is a pale imitation of Defending champion, their performance going down drastically after winning the WTC.

So IMO there is a high possibility of Kiwis getting bamboozled by Abrar and Company. I really hope Abrar squares them out throughout this series, it'd be a very beautiful sight to watch.

Yeah.. after a long gap of around two decades, Pakistan has got a quality spinner in the form of Abrar Ahmed. He has picked up 17 wickets so far from 2 matches, at an average of 21.27. And he faced one of the toughest possible challenges in his debut match, as it was against England. And against New Zealand also, it is not going to be easy. The Kiwis do have some really good batsmen such as Kane Williamson and Devon Conway. It will be a big challenge for Abrar to bowl against such quality batsmen, although he will be enjoying home advantage.

There are 82 runs on the board for Bangladesh after the first session, while India won by taking two wickets. India got another big wicket right after the launch break. Captain Shakib Al Hasan is out at just 16(39). Congratulations to Jaydev Unadkat on his maiden test wicket after a 12-year wait. It is hoped that India will continue getting wickets and will restrict them to a smaller total. There is no way I am confident Bangladesh will get a healthy score.

We are not getting a good performance from Bangladesh today like in the last match. Even today Bangladesh's top order failed. Bangladesh lost three wickets for just 82 runs. The pitch is not batting-friendly at all. But the batsmen should have performed a bit more cautiously. Bangladesh will be in trouble if they collect less than 300 in the first innings. If Bangladesh wants to win or fight for victory in this match then they need to score at least 300 runs. The experienced Muminul and Mushfiqur are now at the crease. If these two batsmen form a big pair, Bangladesh will be able to collect big.

In form batsmen Litton Das is to come next and therefore there is some hope for the Bongs. If they can get to a total of above 300, then there is a good chance that Bangladesh will get an upper hand. So far Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim are handling the Indian spinners with ease.

Agreed with this. And so far Abrar Ahmed has performed exceptionally well, but that was under supportive conditions in Pakistan against SENA countries. His big test will come when he travel to England or Australia, where he needs to play under hostile conditions more favorable to pace bowling. But if he wants to stay in international cricket for longer period, then he needs to improvise, by coming up with new skills regularly. If his skillset doesn't improve, then as you pointed out the opposition batsmen will learn how to handle him.

Bangladesh batsmen are in very bad condition in 2nd Test match.Bangladesh scored 184 runs in 56 overs.But Bangladesh lost 5 wickets.They have only 5 wickets left.Bangladesh now has 3.28 run rate.India bowlers started bowling well.  It seems that the batsmen of Bangladesh will be all out today.

Dropping Kuldeep Yadav for Unadkat makes no sense at all. Yadav deserved this game .. and going with 3 seamers is a strange decision in Bangladesh

The dilemma with Pakistan cricket team for decades is that they are unpredictable and inconsistent, there is no sincere effort done to overcome this issue of inconsistency. Time and again records are made against Pakistan but nothing happen. Despite losing three home series in a row there is hardly any disappointment on face of Babar.
Now Shahid Afridi is also given a role in PCB top management only because of his political affiliation with current party. I don't think Shahid Afridi is capable of handling any administrative posts after having awful stats.

Bangbros made a mess out of their first inning.

The majority of batters got the start but failed to stay for longer except Mominul Haque. Also, at one point they were 212/5 but lost the next 5 wickets in just 15 runs.

So far this pitch has everything. Seamers and spinners are in the play and batters need to show some patience but it's going to deteriorate soon so best of luck to India with those rough foot marks if they are chasing a little over 250 in the 4th inning so they would like to bat out Bangbros from this game.

Atm Indian openers need to face 10-ish overs and Bongs seamers are going to test our Right-hand openers, fingers crossed.

Thick boy Umesh shines again, there is the reason I rate him highly in subcontinent pitch. He always goes into God mode whenever he plays here.

India easily restricted Bangladesh to 227 runs on the first day of the 2nd Test. Where Bangladesh definitely needed to perform well. Because they play very well at home ground. But at this time Bangladesh cannot control India in any way. I deserve India have been able to master their strategies. The condition of Bangladesh is in worst situation in the 2nd test. As the time is over, India can easily collect 208 runs in the next day smoothly as it is the lowest target.

As JSRAW pointed out, Bangladesh was 213/5 at one point. Everyone were expecting that they would easily get to a total of 300. But then they lost wickets very quickly and ended up at 227 all out. Ravichandran Ashwin and Umesh Yadav just wrecked the Bangladeshi lower order and tail. And I was baffled about Litton Das batting at no.6. He is their best batsmen and could have been better utilized at no.3 or no.4. Mominul Haque was the only Bangladeshi batsmen who could score a half century and even he got out when it mattered the most.
