Anderson, Broad and Robinson all doing quality bowling and not allow South African batsmen to play freely which is good stuff specially Anderson is taking wickets regularly which is great form this forty years old legendary English bowler.

Almost everyone was crying and witnessed many Op'eds from Pundits and experts about the death of Test cricket, pitch etc. I didn't see anything even remotely related to this today.

I personally love such kinds of encounters where the ball is dominating the Bat but not a fan of this type of bias. 

This all giving impression we are still living in colonial mindset and happy with white color and if we have any interesting thing in our homeland then surely too much negativity and disrespect is waiting for us because many peoples still believe we are not eligible for things like this.

SENA countries and their pitches have right to do anything, but our pitches need to be had permission for results like these because if they don't like these things then surely we have to face penalties or many other things by our peoples not from any other which is doing things like these right now.

These type encounters are good for game but surely no idea for media rights as they can face serious loses which is never been ideal for finances and surely then boards are also not allowed things like these for their deep pockets.

Just because the days are reduced the discussion was about the match ending in a draw. Once the first innings got over it looked like the match will get a result. Further when the second innings is being played it looked like the Match is gonna end even faster. Now this is like a win for England. Finally England have won the series 2-1, and this was really a big series to watch in recent days. Every match had got twist and turns that keeps us watching the match.

Also another point would be, for so long Seam, Swing, and Pace are considered sacred cows in the cricketing world, especially in SENA countries and they used to look down at spin conditions as some sort of inferior art and Alien to their home conditions.

The situation has changed in the last decade due to various reasons like BCCI and Indian pace bowlers as they started winning regularly in SENA. So some countries SA, AUS and NZ do want to test themselves against in spin conditions too and hardly make any noise when they play in subcontinent. Although their commentators and experts (AUS, NZ) still give subtle comments on pitches from time to time but situation is changing for sure.

The problem is with English Media and experts, they are still living in an era where they want every pitch according to their home conditions, Seam on the first 2 days, little better to bat on 3rd day, and again reverse swing on last 2 days or may be some assistance for a spin on 5th day. That's why they get rolled out in India every single time, except one time in last 2 decade.  

I would be very much interested to see how ICC rate this Eng vs SA pitch because every pitch in the subcontinent receives "Average" Tag when the match finishes within 3 days.

The important thing is that we are seeing the erratic batting of the England team in the first innings. But I didn't expect England to play so well in the second innings. England has collected 98 runs but has not lost any wickets yet. I would say so much failure of South African bowlers. The pitch is bowling friendly which is seen quite well. However, the South African bowlers were unable to pick up wickets.

We did not like the performance of Marco Jansen and any bowler in the first innings as well. Rabada though took 4 wickets. But he gave 81 runs in 13 overs. However, the match is likely to be won by England without losing a wicket. Although South Africa's players are talented, the squad still lacks experienced players.

Nothing has changed at Top but next 3 spots are volatile. SL, Ind,Pak are keep going up and down after every match. One could say competition is tough or they are shitposting and shitting the bed after every match, take your pick.

South Africa took a hit in this series and lost more than 11 points. Next 3 teams must be licking their fingers and it won't be wrong because they can now fancy their chances, all thanks to this series. Especially India and Pakistan as they have 2 series left.

In my opinion, India and Pakistan have a good chance of winning. There is no way Bangladesh has a chance for sure.
However, I had expected New Zealand to perform better than it did. Especially as they are the world's test championship winner. As a result of winning the test world championship, the performance of New Zealand gradually deteriorated.

It is expected that India and Pakistan will try their best to have a better performance in the next matches as well. There is also the fact that the t20 world cup is just around the corner. As a result, the teams are going to be focusing a lot more on that aspect. Test cricket is losing its popularity but as long as it is alive I think the bigger teams are going to be the ones who are actually interested in it.

Players will be well aware and well informed how to use the pitch -they need to have know how to use the pitch to get benefit out of it.
