And somehow Stokes decided to gamble on an unlikely win rather than settling for a draw. This is a precious lesson for the PCB, not to prepare substandard matches for tests against quality teams. If the opponent has quality, they will win the match no matter how hard the curators try to create flat surfaces. The second test will start in three days from now at Multan. Hopefully the pitch quality will be better.

Full marks to Ben for taking this risk. Its time for Pakistan to make some changes in there team, enough with Rizwan just give some opportunity back to Sarfraz. Now Haris is no more playing rest of test matches along with shaheen, defiantly Pakistan will struggle in bowling department. While there batting is already struggling. I am not much hopeful for Pakistan for rest of series.

James Anderson played a major role in the England victory yesterday. He is 40 years old, but still remain as the most threatening English bowler in the test format. I sincerely hope that he can keep on playing for another 2 years and maybe able to end up with some 750-800 test wickets (at this point he has 672 test wickets to his name). And I was disappointed to see Stuart Broad not playing at Pindi. The combination of Broad and Anderson has worked wonders for England in test. I don't know why the selectors always give preference to the younger guys.

We all know about James Anderson and his quality in test matches, but I am really shocked after watching his last day performance because from nowhere he is 40 years old fast bowler he was just 28 to 32 really amazing stuff from him specially on flat pitch which have nothing for fast bowlers they thrash all confuse Pakistani batting line-up which is another amazing stuff from them and their captain now hopefully this change is going to bring positive changes in test matches as well because things are looking interesting, and we can expect good results for the future as well.

Ben Stokes and McCollum combination is now on road to have third big win for England as they already have T20i and ODI world cups with this approach now they can take WTC in 2025 as well because luck always favours braves, and they are proving this all in Rawalpindi test match.

A Test series between Bangladesh A team and India A team is taking place. Bangladesh's batting in the second test match today was very bad as usual. Bangladesh lost 5 valuable wickets for 84 runs. Shahadat Hossain and Jaker Ali put on 139 runs in the sixth wicket partnership. Bangladesh lost their sixth wicket for 223 runs. And Bangladesh's innings ended with just 252 runs. Bangladesh is yet to find a suitable batsman for the Test format. Their batting is still weak.

India's Mukesh Kumar bowled well today. He managed to pick up important 6 wickets. Indian national team bowlers are not in good form now. India A team bowlers now have a good chance of getting a place in the national team by performing well.

In first unofficial test match which played between these two teams Bangladesh done good comeback in second inning and play 127 overs which was amazing stuff from them, and I was thinking now in the second unofficial test match most chances Bangladesh will be improved side in batting.

But, again they fail and bowled out for just 252 which is surely not good score from them and thanks to Shahadat and Jakar that they have done some resistance which helps them for having this score on board otherwise there was chance that all team could bowl out for just 130 to 140, but now India A is again early on batting and most chances they could be able to hammered good score as they have few quality batsmen in their squad but now in second inning we have to check response from Bangladesh can they do this again or this time they will be down and out of competition.

When this WTC cycle started, I was hoping that Pakistan might qualify for the Finals because

They were scheduled to play Aus, Eng and NZ at their home turf and Ban, WI, SL away from home. This kind of schedule is a dream for any test nation as far as the final is concerned.

But damn Pakistan is committed to harakiri and now they have to win their remaining matches and hope India and SA lose a couple of test matches.

But the Pakistani batsmen could not stand in front of England's experienced batsmen on the last day. No batsman could stay at the crease for long. If Imam Ul Haque or Rizwan would have been able to score a century then maybe Pakistan would have been able to win the match. But the Pakistani players could not stand in front of the outstanding bowling of Robinson and Anderson. Robinson and Anderson took four wickets each.

You are right. It was a fitting lesson for the Pakistan Cricket Board. Pakistan made a flat pitch. And their aim was to draw the match by any means. Because it would have been very difficult for Pakistan to win against this England team if the pitch had been bowling-friendly. Pakistan's squad has very few experienced batsmen.

I would say Ben Stokes is the main hero for England to win this match. Had there been any other captain in place of Ben Stokes, he would have decided to draw the match. But Ben Stokes took the risk. He may want to win or lose. He is very lucky that he was able to win.

The Bangladesh team was saved from a certain defeat in the first match. They scored only 112 runs in the first innings. And India scored 465 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their first innings. Bangladesh's batsmen played very well in the second innings. Especially Zakir Hasan played an excellent inning of 173 runs.

Bangladesh scored 252 runs in the second match. Bangladesh's batting has always been weak. It seems to be a good enough collection for them. Now, if Bangladeshi bowlers perform their duties properly, they will not be defeated in this match. But I think Bangladesh's aim is to draw the match with India A team. They probably don't expect them to win against India in the Test format.

Whoa! Why you have so much problem with Rambo as the PCB head? I don't know much about his playing career, as I was too young back then. But ever since he became the PCB chairman, Rameez have steadied the boat for Pakistan cricket and done so many amazing things. He managed to convince many SENA nations to tour Pakistan. He resolved the issue with franchises in the PSL and more importantly he managed a media rights deal, which alleviated the financial issues within the PCB. I don't know why you are so upset about him despite all this hard work.

Whoa! Why you have so much problem with Rambo as the PCB head? I don't know much about his playing career, as I was too young back then. But ever since he became the PCB chairman, Rameez have steadied the boat for Pakistan cricket and done so many amazing things. He managed to convince many SENA nations to tour Pakistan. He resolved the issue with franchises in the PSL and more importantly he managed a media rights deal, which alleviated the financial issues within the PCB. I don't know why you are so upset about him despite all this hard work.

I understand why you are feeling frustrated @coinism. There are going to be some problems that will never be solved in Pakistan cricket, actually in any cricket board in the subcontinent for that matter. There will always be nepotism and favoritism. And don’t even get me started on corruption. But that is happening almost everywhere, right?

I agree with @Sithara007 that Rameez bhai has actually steadied the boat of Pakistan cricket. He has done some amazing things which had not been done for a long time. When you don’t have the best thing that you want, you will have to work with the best that you get. We can all wish for an angel but a human will be the one that we always get and humans will have flaws.

Oh really, rather than looking at Pakistan's team, how about we see the progress made by the world class Indian team  , who have lost the ODI series against the weakest Bangladesh team? or we can say that the Indian team is only capable of playing at IPL

I can understand where the hate is coming from. Ramiz Raja has announced that Asia Cup will be played with or without India  

I don't see any reason to hate Rameez Raja because of that statement. If anything I think he said the right thing. It always feels like India is the one child of ICC who always gets what he wants. It's high time for some changes. I still do not know if anything will change or I don't even know what is going to happen regarding the Asia Cup.

But there is no reason for India to oppose the idea of Pakistan hosting the Asia Cup. 
ICC needs to take certain steps if this is the reason why they do not want to participate in the Asia Cup.

It's still decided that the Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan but I am not certain whether India will let that happen. The ICC will also lose a lot of money if India doesn't participate in the Asia Cup.

Rameez worked really hard to finalize the media rights deal (which was signed a few months ago). The new deal will result in PCB revenues increasing by manifold. In the end, the players are going to benefit out of it, and the facilities will get an uplift. But all this will take time and will not occur overnight. The best thing for the senior cricketers to do will be to contribute something positive to the overall effort, rather than badmouthing the admin through their YouTube channels. Reaching the final of the world cup itself was a wonderful achievement. Rather than praising the performance, everyone seems to be hell bent on badmouthing the players and the PCB staff.

Australia vs west indies 2nd test has begun where Australia has won the toss and has opted to bat. Australia won by 164 runs in the last Test  against West Indies. At present, Australia will also win in the second Test according to their performance and their ratings. In the meantime, they were able to score 17 runs from 5 overs in the first session without losing any wickets. In the last Test, David Warner could not do well. He played 17 balls and go back with 5 runs. I think he can perform well in today's match.

2nd Test Australia vs West Indies The match between these two nations has started. Australia came out to bat. They scored 82 runs in 20 overs. But they lost 1 wicket. They still have 9 wickets. How many runs can Australia score in today's match?  No idea. But West Indies are bowling great in the match.

In the 2nd Test match what I expected that is not happen. I thought David Warner did not get run in the last match. In this match he might have a chance to get more runs but that didn't happen. He had to go back again by 21 runs from 29 balls. He did not bat in the way he needed to play in the Test match. His strike rate was 72. However, their victory will come from the West Indies. But Warner had an opportunity to make a century that he miss.

David Warner got out very cheaply today against West Indies, but Marnus Labuschagne and Usman Khawaja are taking on the pacers. Surprisingly Australia included Scott Boland for this match. Don't forget the fact that he is having an unbelievable test bowling average of 9.55 (18 wickets from 3 matches). He was selected ahead of promising West Australian pacer Lance Morris. Hopefully Morris will be able to get a chance in the next match. He (Morris) is rumored to be the fastest bowler in Australia, constantly bowling at 150 kmph in Sheffield Shield matches.

Khawaja and Labuschagne have stabilized Australia's innings despite losing the wickets of David Warner. By the time Usman Khawaja reaches his half-century, he might convert it to a century. Before the dinner break, the hosts had a good session.

West Indies have managed to strike back, with two quick wickets. Usman Khawaja was nabbed by Devon Thomas, while Steve Smith got out for a duck. Now Travis Head is batting with Marnus Labuschagne. If the West Indian batsmen get a couple of quick wickets in the next few overs, then they may be able to restrict Australia to a total of around 250. And given the conditions at Adelaide Oval, it will give them a good chance of win. Tagenarine (Chanders Jr.) looked in terrific form during the first match and I am looking forward to watching him bat in the second test.
