After taking 12 wickets 282 runs of Australia on first day Pakistan is all set to bat now . Pakistan scored 107 runs 2 wickets gone and Is going on full swing ,Babar Azam is very much in form.  I think this test  will go in favour of Pakistan.
Pakistan balling was outstanding today and they surprised us with that now we will see either it's the pitch or ballers who made  this possible.

Abrar Ahmed who is making his debut took 7 wickets and it is not because of the pitch but he surprised the England batsman with his spell and another spinner playing his second Test took the rest of the wickets. If it was all about the pitch, England would have done that to Pakistan. So the advantage here is for Pakistan and if they are able to score a good first innings lead that would change the match upside down.

Pakistan have got the highest winning chance against England. As said scoring good runs in the first innings and making some magic of taking wickets by the debut and the rest of the bowlers will increase the winning chance. In the second innings England might come-up with a striking batting than a defending way of play. Lets see, the first innings end will give almost clear data on the result of the match.

Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head both scored 163 and 175 runs respectively. WI are not in good position at the moment, Devon Thomas and Marquino Mindley are making there debut from WI side. Seems like an easy second win for Australia.

This is going to be 2-0 series win for Australia. In the first match Australia scored 598 runs and declared the innings. This time it is 511 runs and declared. In the first test West Indies scored 283 runs and this time probably not above 250 runs. Almost similar pattern of play, however the match ends in the last day's session. Better play out of West Indies could make the match more competing than just a one sided match.

I will be surprised if the match goes to the final day.

Michael Neser and Scott Boland have bowled quite well for Australia so far and have shown the depth in player pool for Australia as far as the pace bowling component is concerned (still I would have preferred Lance Morris in the team). West Indies is sliding towards an innings defeat and only a miracle from Tagenarine can rescue them from that fate.

@Sithara007 I sincerely doubt that he can save them this time from an innings defeat, and the WI management needs to ask the tough question like why did they lose this test matches so easily (assuming they suffer an innings defeat). Also I too agree that Morris should have made it to the playing 11, but I believe that he’ll get his chance soon and in the long run he’ll definitely be a regular in the playing 11 of Australia.

Right now, West Indies is completely down and out of all formats with need of some changes into their stance on players' future and domestic setup as well because things are not going positive for them, and they are losing their best talent because of differences between players and board which is never been ideal now here in Australia they are having big issue in bowling and batting as well which is creating more problems for their future with they already lost spot into t20i world cup, and now they can face more problems as well here Australia is having now settle their spot for the WTC final.

Pakistan is in a good position and if they can bat longer and score runs then the pressure will be on England to catch up.

Pakistan's start is good but for better view of this test match we have to wait for the end of Pakistani inning then we can talk clearly about result of this match and series right now England is at the top still with their style of play and approach for this series.

Pakistan came out to bat again today we can see pakistan batting great but they are not getting good colors but soon i think babar azam will score 100 runs but he needs some time but babar azam can score 100 runs in the match.  Then Pakistan will win all very soon

Babar Azam hits a captain's knock. After Abrar Ahmed's debut seven-wicket haul, Pakistan dominated the first day despite losing two wickets. Babar with the bat is obviously the star of the day, followed by Abrar Ahmed. Now it's time for the batters to go big with their bats. I hope that Pakistan's next morning will be a great day for them. Indeed, a great test match in progress.

Pakistan need to bat carefully on day 2 as they are 174 runs behind. We saw Pakistan fail to chase a relatively small target of 344 in Pindi test, this clearly is an indication that how good England bowling is. At the moment Babr Azam is on crease and if he can bat for next 30 to 40 overs then Pakistan definitely have a chance to get some lead in first innings.

This is totally disappointing to see the performance of Pakistan's batsmen. Such a poor performance was not expected. Pakistan lost their third wicket for 142 runs. And they lost all the wickets to collect only 60 runs. The batsmen should have batted more responsibly. Batting like this, it is foolish to expect good results against a team like England.

England scored 202 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their second innings. And now they have managed to take a lead of 281 runs. I think England will declare their innings even if they take a lead of 400 runs. But taking a lead of 400 runs will not be easy for England.

I used to think that Joe Root was the most clueless Test captain in recent times but Babar Azam took him over by a margin and topped the list with his field and bowling changes. West Indies players have gradually lost their form as they give more priority to the franchise cricket league. West Indies cricket board is primarily responsible for the current position of the team. Australia has given the target of 497 runs. West Indies has already lost 4 wickets in just 21 runs. There is no chance to see the match on the final day. Australia will get the victory on the day 4.

Pakistan is in a good position and if they can bat longer and score runs then the pressure will be on England to catch up.

In the first innings, Pakistan had enough chances to take the lead in this match. Abrar Ahmed who took 7 wickets took 3 more wickets in the second innings. However, Pakistan is not ahead in the debut match of this 24-year-old leg spinner. England advanced by 281 runs at the end of the second day. Pakistan started the second day at 107 for 2. Babar Azam was unbeaten on 62 runs with Saud Shakeel who scored 32 runs. However, the Pakistan captain could not take the team far today. He was bowled by Ollie Robinson for 75 runs. The field is now playing very competitively even with less runs.
