I was so confident that Bairstowes will bat till the end unfortunately he got out and was only able to score 49 runs. I pity this bugger who was capable of destroying two big teams in the past. I would rather say a few months back. i also feel that he might be out of form in this series and that is what might have led to his sudden downfall.

Stokes and Foakes (sounds rhyming) have taken his position and are doing quite well. These two might have released him from the pressure he might have been facing a few months back. I lead 200 plus runs by the English side could be a match winner if this side achieves it.

England declared their innings by collecting 415 runs. England team managed to take a huge lead of 264 runs. Ben Foakes scored the highest for the team. He played an unbeaten innings of 113 runs. Also Bairstow and Ben Stokes played very well.

South Africa managed to collect only 151 runs in the first innings. I don't think they will be able to score 264 runs in the second innings. Unless any miracle happens and England's bowlers don't bowl atrociously badly then it is certain that England is going to win this match very easily. Because today is just the second day of the match.

I would say South Africa's performance in the second innings will depend on their performance in the first session tomorrow. If the South African batsmen play well in the first session and don't lose more than one wicket, it will not be too difficult for them to cross the 241-run barrier. And if the two openers get out at the beginning of the day, then they will lose all the wickets before collecting 241 runs.

Looking back at the first innings, when the pitch was supporting the English bowlers do you guys think the same thing will happen in the second innings? The SA side has not lost any wickets yet and has scored 23 runs and I am expecting that on day 3 they might lose all the wickets. 241 runs lead is not that easy for the SA batters to chase unless and until they form a partnership.

Don't think that South Africa has any chance of avoiding a follow on. Even if they avoid follow on by some miracle, they won't be able to win the match. The first innings lead for England is a massive 264 runs and that is almost twice as much South Africa scored in the first innings. First match was completely dominated by South Africa, but the second test is going in a diagonally opposite direction. I am more interested to see how the WTC points table looks like after England wins this match and get the series leveled at 1-1.

South Africa did the best to save the match, but things didn't work as they expected. During the start things went good. Once the wicket of Petersen fell, further the wickets fell continuously. South Africa lost its 6th wicket at 172 runs and ended the innings at 179 runs. With this England won have won the match by an innings and 85 runs. Now the series is tied 1-1, and the third match will be interesting as it is the decider for the series winning.

The match is already ended with the result of England won by an inning and 85 what transformation by England after losing first match in just three days they fight back and won this second test match at Manchester by same style with an inning bowlers done amazing job specially I love to watch James Anderson as he is taking five to six wickets in every match now his tally is 664 in 174 matches which is incredible.

Now, it's time for South Africa they need to think about their mistakes which they have done in this match with their batting totally fail, and they have to face this big defeat now they have 11 days for covering their confidence and have to fight for win in this series at The Oval.
