Namibia set a target of 382 runs. I would say it was a totally unexpected score. I never imagined that a team like Namibia would score 381 runs. In the last match, the Namibia team scored only 151 runs against the USA. They lost the match by 80 runs. Namibia batted brilliantly in the last 5 overs in today's match. Their collection was 72 runs in the last 5 overs. Thus if Namibia is able to perform in the earlier matches then they can be at the top of the table. In today's match, I predict Namibia to win by at least 150 runs.

Another high scoring game but this times its ODI. After Namibia set target of 382 I was not expecting a strong fight from PNG but they manage to score 333 runs in 46.2 overs. If they have few wikcets left towards the end of game they would have gone to win the game. Charles Amini of PNG score a century in just 66 balls that include 8 sixes and 8 fours.
Canada recorded there 2 win in the tournament and they are now at number one position. Its second time Canada fail to give big target but there bowing is strong enough to defend a low score.

More than 700 runs were scored today in the ODI match between Namibia and Papua New Guinea. In the end, however Namibia managed to win by 48 runs. Batting first, Namibia made a total of close to 400, with Gerhard Erasmus, Nikolaas Davin and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton contributing significantly. In return, Papua New Guinea was on the target until they lost Assad Vala. At that point, they were at 282/4 after 37 overs, and they required exactly 100 runs from 13 overs. It was very much achievable at that stage.

This is some disappointing batting by them, Canadian ballers definitely nailed in this department specially boys like kaleem sana and Saad bin zaffar who took 3 3 wickets and earn this victory for Canada.

Well.. you can't expect the lower order to score one-third of the runs, right? The US team contained several players, with first class experience in test nations, such as Monank Patel (former Gujarat player), Aaron Jones (Barbados), Gajanand Singh (Guyana) and Saurabh Netravalkar (Mumbai). Despite that they lost the match in such a disappointing manner. Canada team on the other hand had hardly any experienced players. Even the captain Saad Bin Zafar hasn't played a lot of matches for Canada. This was his 2nd ODI.

It is not a surprise as every team that chased failed to chase down the score in this ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play off. Lowest happened to be in this match but Canada defended against Jersey as well and even the odds makers were suggesting that Jersey would win easily as they were 117 for the loss of 1 wicket at one point chasing 238 runs and they were all out for 207 and cashed out at a loss when they lost their 6th wicket.

I cannot agree that USA and UAE's performance is not improving. I didn't know the USA team a few years ago. But this group is now known worldwide. Maybe their performance is not stable yet, but I think this team will be stable gradually. The UAE team also has several talented players. However, their performances are not regular as the players are not experienced enough. These two teams are getting a lot of benefits from the ICC, and it is expected that the performances of these two teams will be more stable in the next few years.

Aryan Lakra today 47 runs from 47 balls.  If Aryan Lakra could have collected 3 more runs then Aryan Lakra would have completed 50 runs. But Aryan Lakra got out before completing 3 runs.

If there was a certain burst of popularity in cricket among the people of the United States, I would have said that this is justifiable. But that is certainly not happening. United States of America is certainly not interested in cricket right now. At least the native people are not for sure.

I cannot agree that USA and UAE's performance is not improving. I didn't know the USA team a few years ago. But this group is now known worldwide. Maybe their performance is not stable yet, but I think this team will be stable gradually. The UAE team also has several talented players. I personally don't have any problems with the USA getting better in cricket. I have a problem when the USA team is not made out of native players. Almost all the players are foreign people. You just should not be able to make a ""national team"" out of foreign players. And if you do, people like us, I mean the majority of cricket fans are not going to be interested in that success.

After a good performance in the first match, UAE is playing against the USA today. If UAE manages to win today's match, they have a chance to go to the top of the table. UAE won the toss and elected to bat. At the end of 40 overs, UAE collected 207 runs. Looks like good enough batting. On the other hand, after seeing the performance of the USA in the last two matches, I feel that although their bowling is good enough, the batting line-up of the USA is a bit weak. Even if UAE gives a target of 280-300, the USA's chances of victory are very low.


Namibia  : Jersey

Jersey is playing against Namibia. The Jersey team is very weak. And Namibia's batsmen are in very good form now. Namibia scored 381 runs against PNG in the last match. Jersey collected only 173 runs in 44 overs. A win against Namibia is not possible with such a low score.

If there was a certain burst of popularity in cricket among the people of the United States, I would have said that this is justifiable. But that is certainly not happening. United States of America is certainly not interested in cricket right now. At least the native people are not for sure.

The United States team has been formed by the Foreign Player completely. It is easy to estimate that most of them are currently included in the squad as citizens of the United States. Although many players can have a birth place in United States but we know that the Origin is different. Anyway I think the United Arab emirates in this match will do better but if they lost their wicket quickly then United States team can take the opportunity to defeat United Arab emirates.

In this upcoming ICC ODI world cup 2023 qualifier playoff UAE face USA, where United Arab Emirates win the toss and decided to bat first because they believe they have strong batting lineup which can build a big target to defend, currently united Arab Emirates lose 6th wicket in 42th over with a total runs of 218, here in UAE Thier two batter has scored Thier half centuries while Thier captain who perform mostly can perform Thier and lose Thier wicket too early, now Thier set batter Asif Khan are on a crease by scoring 72 runs. If he were on a crease I am sure that UAE will score around 300 but if they lose Thier wicket then hopefully they will score around 260.

Asif Khan's presence at the crease is undoubtedly crucial for UAE to post respectable totals. With two batsmen already hitting half centuries Khan's experience and current form could prove to be the difference between scores of 260 and 300. The USA bowling attack will also target Khan's wicket to restrict UAE to a low total. It will be interesting to see how Khan plays under pressure and if he can take UAE to a competitive total. UAE's lower order batsmen will also need to step up and contribute to the team total. They will have to bat wisely and rotate the strike to support Khan and ensure that UAE reach a challenging total.

Even if UAE gives a target of 280-300, the USA's chances of victory are very low.


Namibia  : Jersey

Jersey is playing against Namibia. The Jersey team is very weak. And Namibia's batsmen are in very good form now. Namibia scored 381 runs against PNG in the last match. Jersey collected only 173 runs in 44 overs. A win against Namibia is not possible with such a low score.

USA's bowling lineup is strong. They have some talented bowlers in their squad. However, the performance of the UAE batsmen today was quite good. They managed to set a target of 280 runs. Asif Khan batted brilliantly today. He was able to score 103 runs off just 84 balls. It is difficult for the USA to win the match, but it is not impossible. If USA's top order plays well, they will be able to win the match.

Jersey managed to set a target of 214 runs. It seems that it is enough to fight. If the bowlers perform well, the match will become competitive. Namibia lost their opener before they could score any runs. If Jersey's bowlers can pick up a few wickets in the power play then the match will be competitive.
