South Africa vs Netherlands 2nd ODI match between these two teams has started today. South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl.  Now Netherlands come to bat. 28 runs in 5.1 overs. Netherlands have not lost any wicket so far. If South Africa can do well in the bowling line today, all the Netherlands batsmen will be under a lot of pressure. I think South Africa need to win both of there matches against Netherlands because a single win will make there points equal to West Indies which is 88. If South Africa win both matches then there points will be 98 and they will be moved to number 8 spot (my understanding is that top 8 teams qualify directly for ODI WC). Netherlands is not a tough team to beat and South Africa just need to be careful in both matches. Sri lanka must have won 2 of there recent matches but they lost both miserably.

South Africa only needs to win one match. I am hopeful that they will win both the matches. Srilanka lost their last opportunity today by losing the series. It is not easy to defend such low target. I never thought that Srilankan batting will fail after winning the toss and selected to bat first. The Srilankan bowlers did everything possible to restrict the Kiwi batters but Will Young was unstoppable. Suddenly the performance of Srilanka has been a concern especially their batting. They will now be playing three T20 matches starting 2nd of April but most of us would be watching the IPL which starts today.

New Zealand played well in each match against Sri Lanka and New Zealand won the first ODI match by 198 runs.  But the second match was abandoned without a ball bowled and the third match was also won by New Zealand by 6 wickets. Sri Lanka are playing some well against other teams but they are playing very badly against New Zealand I don't know why. The score that Sri Lanka is making in ODI matches.  It can be done in T20 matches.  Sri Lanka are playing really badly

I don't expect a good performance from the Sri Lankan team in this series. Although the Sri Lankan team had several talented players, their performances were erratic. Especially after the retirement of star players like Sangakkara, Jayasuriya, and Malinga, the Sri Lanka management could not fill their void.
Even though there are several talented players, they are not able to perform well on a regular basis. However, Sri Lanka's performance against New Zealand was worse than I expected. In the first match, they managed to collect only 76 runs. The pitch was not entirely bowling friendly. Even in today's match, we have seen Sri Lanka's poor batting. They lost all the wickets in just 157 runs. Sri Lankan batsmen can't survive at the crease in front of New Zealand's pace attack.

I think current performance of SiriLanka in ODI format will cost them too expensive because soon they will participate in ODI format Asia Cup and after that soon the will be the part of ODI world cup in India, no doubt most of start player were available, but still they can't perform,  Same kind of performance will put them in huge trouble during these competition so I think SiriLanka should work on Thier weakness and should bring such kind of talent who can make runs slowly according to condition and  hold wickets in hand too.

You expected Netherlands to to give a competitive target against South Africa  . Did you forget SA is a test playing country wherein the cricket infrastructure is far much better thank NL. South Africa team bowler Tabraiz Shamsi took 3 wickets with 25 runs in 10 overs. Sisanda Magala 8 overs.  took 3 wickets with 37 runs. If South Africa can show a good performance in batting then South Africa team will have a chance to win. Bavuma has been able to prove his worth. He is in very good form now. But we have seen Bavuma's poor performance consistently due to not being in form for a long time. Still, the South African management kept faith in Bavuma. And Bavuma has let them down now that he is able to play consistently well. At the same time, South Africa's overall performance is fairly stable. But I doubt if South Africa can perform well against big teams like England and Australia.
The Netherlands team is relatively weak. One should not expect too much performance from this team. They are weak in both batting and bowling line-up. It will be very difficult for the Netherlands to collect more than 250 against a strong bowling line-up like South Africa.

Just one more significant match remains in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League, and tomorrow South Africa will take on Netherlands for the last match in this league for both the teams. South Africa has 88 points so far. West Indies also have the same number of points, but Net Run Rate for South Africa is much better than that of West Indies (-0.255 vs -0.738). In order for West Indies to finish ahead of South Africa, then the latter should lose their match against Netherlands by 2,000 runs or so. So we can safely assume at this point that South Africa has qualified to participate in the ODI World Cup of 2023.

With these matches South Africa makes the preparation for the World Cup and the experienced once make an refreshment. First match was an easy win. Netherlands need to give better competence.
Qualifier matches were going. In the match between Papua New Guinea and Jersey we were able to see good score coming. Jersey made 291 runs and while chasing the target Papua New Guinea was able to reach 280 runs. Two centuries have come from Jersey and 3 half centuries have come from Papua New Guinea players that's really good cricket from these teams.
