How that's a big risk if England team come to Pakistan and that too at the end of 2021. By that time the situation will be under control and the vaccine may be available.

I am not sure about the development of vaccine and it is hard to guess whether the situation will be under control by that time.

However i think the England team should visit even before to Pakistan because recently many international players visited Pakistan to play the PSL and everyone is safe due to excellent safety environment for the visitors.

It is a good argument, Pakistan toured England and resumed cricket after the lock down and the players visited Pakistan for PSL and if they are satisfied with the security then they can travel and play the series and hopefully everything will be safe as i have heard about the experience of Sri Lankan players when they were attacked by terrorist and how they escaped narrowly.

It is a fairly long time and hopefully we will be going back to normal without the help of vaccine because waiting and hoping for a vaccine is a waste of time. I have read the article about the vaccine developed by Pfizer which says it is 95 % effective and they did not identify any serious side effects. Even if any company comes up with a solid vaccine without any side effects it will takes years to reach globally.

However, any terrorist threats before the tour would most likely put the series in jeopardy though I hope nothing happens.

Terrorist might be bored without any activities because of the pandemic and do you think that they will try to jeopardize the series .

Just few days back government officials give some solid information about these terrorists and their bases and today Prime Minister of Pakistan is also in Afghanistan as they are looking for some very stick action against them hopefully these will bring some more good results and terrorists and their facilators have their lesson.

No idea what what the situation would be as the second wave is hitting hard and it is hard to predict what the future holds.

Pfizer was trying something else and got something else. But, still viagra is the number one sold medicine in the market.

Currently pfizer is the only company claiming 95 percent success rate in curing from this damm virus. No other company has come out publically claiming sucess in curing COVID19.

I do not think they will jeopardise their reputation with false claim. There will be side effects but they will be mild and curable.

We need a vaccine as the situation is getting worse everywhere and we know that once the restrictions are levied there is big jump in the number of positive cases and it is not a good sign for anyone and i do not want to see a complete lock down once again and when you think realistically even if the vaccine is developed how much time will it take to vaccinate everyone, it will take another couple of years or more to complete that process because we are one in over seven billions people.

Punjab region is pretty safe for cricket. All they need is, convince one of the SENA country to visit there for Test Series. Limited overs cricket (for example next year T-20 series against England) is not going to change situation much but yeah this would help SENA countries to think about changing their status quo.

I don’t know if you’ll saw this news or no, but tickets have been sold out for Australia vs India matches (India’s tour of Australia), and I’m really excited by this news because it’ll be the first series post the pandemic which allows the fans back inside the stadium.

Furthermore if in this series fans don’t get covid by going to the stands, then even other nations will start allowing fans back in the stadium, but it’ll yet take some more time before we can see a full packed stadium.

Good to see that they are sticking with their promise and i really hope everything goes okay. Games without spectators are never the same and it looks really bad on telly, no matter if tech team adding fake crowd voice over.

Currently, Europe is facing the second wave buts it's not case yet with most of the countries or governments don't want to tell the truth to the people, since the vaccines are coming up in different corners of the world is most likely to return back to normal in the next year.

About the fake crowd voice, yes its get irritated for most of the time and the complete cheer-up experience was missing in the whole IPL for their home teams.

LoL, I can understand. The reasoning being given is that some of the viewers are too accostumed to the crowd noise and they may find the silent background confusing. But the IPL was covered in India using different channels and they should have made available both the options. Personally I'd have preferred the silent background, because that would enable me to hear the commentators properly.

I totally agree with you.  The crowd noise system in IPL was very bad.  They could not properly give the sound of the crowd.  It has been observed that when there are four sixes, there is no sound of crowd.  Again while the player is defending, Cloud gave the sound.  Which was really ridiculous.

It doesn’t mean anything right? And not important to that crowd. Moreover, this was the first time we have seen such a tournament without crowd. So, you can't expect to have everything perfect at the first time.

Back then, the crowd used a musical instrument called "vuvuzela", which produced a deafening noise, resulting in many of the TV channels using audio filters to remove this irritating sound. It was impossible to follow the commentary because of this noise, and I ended up watching the tournament after putting my TV on mute.

IPL was covered in so many different channels, in almost all the major Indian languages. I don't know what prevented Star Sports from providing an additional option, where this "artificial crowd noise" was absent. I can't complain much. The BCCI did such a splendid job in organizing the league. This was one of the minor issues, which could be swept under the carpet.
