If you take one month subscription, then you may need to renew it once, as the test match series will be played in December-January. But the rates look reasonable for me. Anyway, for those who can't afford even these rates, they always have the option of watching them on JioTV.

BTW, Australia is off to a very good start. Shami has started well for India, but Bumrah and Saini are yet to find their proper line and length. Both Warner and Finch looking confident against the pacers. I believe a score in excess of 300 is in offer here.

Nope. Hotstar is not covering this series. I believe they have a partnership with Star Sports. When Star Sports have the TV rights for a particular series, Hotstar will get the online streaming rights. But this series is being covered by SONY-TEN, who have their own streaming platform (SONY-LIV). I watched the IPL on Hotstar, and their coverage was good. Never tried SONY LIV, but I have heard that their quality is good as well.

Is Hardik Pandaya playing as all rounder or specialist batsman? Not sure why selectors giving him chances when he's not fit to ball any single over. He's considered all rounder, right? Fair amount of good specialist batsmen are sitting out and warming the bench because of Pandaya.

At this rate, 300 should not be a problem for Australia. David Warner is not getting much of the strike as Finch is chewing up a lot of balls. For India, if they can tempt Warner to play a rash shot, then it may give them an opening. But for now, both the batsmen seems to be at ease and the spinners are not troubling them much (Ravindra Jadeja & Yuzvendra Chahal). India needs to break this partnership.

If Pnadya is only included in the team as a batsman, then it is foolish decision for the Indian team management. Pandya is definitely a good finisher. But many better Batman than him is sitting on the bench. I thought Pandya was included in the team as an all-rounder.

I still believe that the inclusion of Pandya was a positive move. India needs someone who could score at a rate of 2 runs per ball during the final overs. Hardik suits that role better than anyone else. Theoretically, you can argue that Shubman Gill or Sanju Samson could have done a better job. But both these batsmen are more suitable for the top order, and they don't have much international experience.

Australia is scoring at a brisk rate now. They should, as the opening pair is at the crease. The Indian bowlers are really struggling (apart from Mohammad Shami). The pacers are struggling with their line and length, especially Navdeep Saini. On top of that Yuzvendra Chahal is unable to get much turn from the pitch. Indian captain looks frustrated and he has now brought in Shami.

LOL... India finally got a wicket. Virat Kohli was getting restless up there and had asked Mohammad Shami to bowl against Warner and Finch. Shami did his job and got Warner. Now the advantage for India is that they got two right-handed batsmen at the crease (Smith and Finch). And also, Smith takes a bit of time initially to settle in and this gives Kohli some breathing space to bring back Saini and Bumrah.

Good timing, Australia lost the first wicket finally  . India had a bad start but if they are able to pick wickets then they can bounce back. I am not happy with the Indian batting line up and if there is a huge total to chase i doubt these players could chase.

He is injury prone and if he bowls that could put him in the shelf for the next 6 months .

That will work, if the target is around 300. Right now they are at 226/1 after 37 overs. By 40 overs, they would be around 250 and scoring another 80 runs in the last 10 overs is not going to be very difficult given the fact that they have lost only one wicket. Right now, Steve Smith is scoring at a rate of around 1.5 runs per ball and 330-335 is going to be very much achievable.

After looking at the Indian batting line up i had my doubts and once Australia scored 374 runs i knew it is not that easy to chase this total even if some of the Indian players in the team had a great IPL and i was curious to see how Kohli pace the innings as he is the best batsman while chasing and if he could take the team around 260 runs then they have the stroke players to take the team home but luckily for me Hazlewood did the trick picking Kohli and Iyer in one over  .

You're very right, win probability at least indicate that. Australia looks very strong, despite this monster target India were failed to responds at opening order in 50 overs game when they have to take it more seriously. There two set batsman Dhawan and Pandya right now on the pitch and need another 185 runs next 132 delivery.

If Dhawan or Pandya gets out now, the target will be unachievable. Virat got out too early and even Iyer proved disappointing. If Virat was on crease, the target could be achieved still as the RRR is not that high but 8 but without him, it doesn't look they will win this match.
