It’s the same target as we have seen some of the IPL matches  May be Hardik Pandya will hit some sixes at the end as he did in the last match and the margin will get reduce a little at the end. No way India can win the match.
This series has been a nightmare for the Indian bowlers. T Nataranjan should be in as he is in the squad.

It does not matter if India lost by few runs or a big margin. It will result in the loss of the all important one day series against Australia. That would be a big upset for them.

Including one more pacer into the team can give stability so its good idea to give rest to Chahal and go with four full time pacers which may do some changes from their past performance. Modern day cricket becomes high scoring games, so bowlers need to evolve to keep the match more exciting as before.

Australian pitches are made to be easier for batsmen. It would be harder for the bowler to turn the ball. Kohli and Iyer though made a good partnership, they couldn't maintain a good runrate. They were on the crease for more time but seemed like they were playing the first innings while chasing a huge target. If such is the case even in T20, I don't think India would get even a win.

Hmm.. I guess I have to agree with you there. Thangarasu Natarajan is an exciting bowler and he will add variety to the Indian pace battery. Right now all their bowlers (with the exception of Jadeja) are right-handed and the addition of Natarajan will be like a game changer. No issues in sticking with Saini. He is a promising young bowler, so can be given one more chance in the ODI series.

I don't think NA Saini should be given another chance in this series. If the bowling action of the Indian team does not change in the next match too and the bowlers are unable to perform well, then the Indian team will be whitewashed. And it will not be honorable for them at all. India will want to win the next match in any way. I think they definitely need to change the bowling lineup.

There is no point in targeting Saini. The other bowlers also leaked a lot of runs. Both Shami and Bumrah conceded almost 8 runs per over today. Chahal also gave away a lot of easy deliveries. The outcome of the third match doesn't matter much, as Australia have won the series. And for India, their position in the points table for the 2020–22 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League is not important, as they have already qualified for the 2023 World Cup. So I agree with JSRAW. For the third match, India can include youngsters like Natarajan and Saini in the playing XI.

Startegy changes when you bat first as otherwise chasing big score when you are already in a do or die game. So the first 20 overs in such situation becomes crucial because if start is good then run rate remains under control and also the pressure on remaining batsman are limited else if RR shoots to 9 from 30th over then there is hardly any chance to settle for new batsman in the game and has to hit from first ball. Chances could have been better if India would have won and elected to bat first as against batting second.

From the scoring pattern itself it is clear, the pitch is supportive for batsmen. If not, for all the efforts at some point the scoring could've been stopped by the bowlers. As said above, we can't blame the bowlers in todays match. Already the ground is good for batting, apart from this home ground advantage is also there. In such a situation India reaching 338 runs is good cricket.
