It's just a few more days to go and only a few so far shown interest. Not bad with the current prize pool for just a few bettors.

The competition isn't noticed much maybe because it was posted on the local section. It was posted in English so I will assume that everyone is free to join right?

As much as I want to bet, but I'm a BRGY fan. Maybe if they reached the finals and there will be a same competion like that, I will consider joining.

Alright! Let's continue the  2019 Philippine Basketball Association(PBA) playoffs after the almost 2 weeks break due to Southeast Asian Games which held in the Philippines.
Today's game will start their best of 5 series (Northport vs Ginebra).
I'm looking forward for Northport now because of their flawless 2-0 victory against top seeder NLEX ROADWARRIORS.

NorthPort's confidence is very high now with that win over the NLEX road Warriors and they could take this opening game of the series with the Barangay Ginebra Kings as well. Odds for this game is good for those who will bet for the Batang Pier like me  .

The momentum of NorthPort right now is high because they beat the #1 in the eliminations and they will carry it here in the Semis against Ginebra.

I also bet for them with the same odds as you said and I hope that they win this time. Their confidence is high but it will be a hard fight for them because they will face the crowd favorite .

It's very possible since CStan is on his journey plus the import who can really compete with JBL, though the locals if GSM players spark up and
bring the performance from the last Sea games it will be a difficult game for the batang pier, LA and Pringle if they will effectively helps the
scoring department tonight that will change the momentum. GSM always wins inve every players contribute and not just to relied with the import.

I thought the first game of the semi was the TNT vs Meralco, I really don't know that a game will start today.
It looks like Ginebra are coming back now, they scored more in the 3rd quarter and this game is now close, hopefully the northport will win in this game so I would bet on the Ginebra in game 2.

Me as well, I was just looking at their site and after the 3rd quarter I thought this game would go down the wire, to my surprise when I checked an hour after, I saw the final score that is almost unbelievable. .

Anyone know what was the spread of this game? I'm sure the Gins was the favorites here.

Betting on 26+ in sportsbet might give a return of x100 if they are like +5 up... I think SO>

TNT Katropa (1.69), Meralco Bolts (2.13)

I'm betting on the Bolts to win opening game as i see that Meralco has greatly improved with the addition of Maliksi and Almazan but still it's anybody's ball game.

I'm betting on the Bolts to win opening game as i see that Meralco has greatly improved with the addition of Maliksi and Almazan but still it's anybody's ball game.

They should really be the favorite even without Pogoy because they have the stars like Castro and Ray Parks .
However, I would agree with you that Bolts here is the better pick since they  have been winning games going to this playoffs, their chemistry is good and they have an all around import that could dominate in the paint.

I put a little bet on game 1 and it doesn't matte if Meralco is the underdog and we know already from the start that TNT will be the favorites in the series.
The line will not change I guess even if Meralco will win in game 1, same with the Ginebra San Miguel who lose hard against the NP last night, I maybe not so certain but I believe the line for Gins vs NP in game 2 is ranging from -3.5 to -5.5, ginebra will still be the favorites.

Why that line?

Because people are expecting they will tie the series, otherwise if they lose, they will be one loss away of getting eliminated so game 2 is a must win for the Ginebra San Miguel.

I don't have any idea who's going to stand up since both teams are good and considering that they are also sister company who both wanted to win this conference title. Expecting to have a very close game unlike what happened with GSM and NorthPort.

Both import scored 30+ points but TNT's local were contributing well compared to the meralco's total, and we can also noticed about the improvement of their defense, and it looks like Meralco are having a problem with them in game 1, it was well dominated by TNT though it ended only in single digit in the end.

Hopefully the adjustment you are saying will happen in game 2..
