This is a good move by the BOD of the association that they just stopped the games temporary because of these virus that is spreading across the country. This is a serious problem already because day by day, more and more cases are being posted on the social media platforms. Luckily there are some people in a school who build testing kits already. I hope this will help the affected people.

Aside from gambling at home, making yourself healthy would be better because you need a strong body in order to be immune to the virus. Eating fruits will help you and vitamin C but still if you have time to gamble then just gamble on NBA .

As per advice coming from the government the governors decided to suspend the games and will relied to any announcement coming from DOH, or they will do some adjustment and changes if in case it's needed same with how the NBA is planning regarding to no fans inside the coliseum to protect both players and fans health, not sure if how that will work just to continue the league.

Unfortunately, almost all leagues now at several sports cancel their respective season not just here in the country but globally.

PBA, PBA D-league, MPBL and even barangay leagues (Metro Manila) are all canceled.

Hope this will end quickly. We are all affected in any aspect.

I checked the PBA website and its social media profile and it doesn't come up yet with some fresh news since halting the All-Filipino Cup scheduled games so maybe we won't hear any updates here until the Covic-19 will be controlled here in Manila.

Fortunately, the conference is just on the fresh start. I just hope that the situation will be better day by day. We are all hype at this conference and want to see the competition between all teams now that the dominant player in the All-Filipino is out.

This provides real time information and as of this writing Philippines already has 111 cases of the same disease. Today, the lock down is effective so let's hope the cases will not continue to rise and the government can think of better solution for this while we are on a lock down.

Indeed, I hope the authorities really able to isolate the virus in the city. Hmm, until now I can't say because there are spreading rumors here in our province that there are few cases of Covid 19. So how is it even possible? I am not sure tho but if the rumors are for real then I guess it all happened before the lockdown. Nonetheless, I hope all of these are fake news because a small province can't handle such situation due to lack of medical facilities. All of us will suffer even harder.

The problem with the Philippines is we have poor hospitals and our medical facilities is not as good with other countries.
As of now, the number of reported infected with NCOV-19 is just over 100, but how can we be so sure if that's the actual people who are infected.

I know the lock down is quite crazy know 100 infected people is very small compared to the millions of total population in the Philippines, but it's the best way to do since the government can't cater a possible increasing number of people infected.

Yes, Manila is currently on lockdown. Malls and some establishments are closed but the good thing here is, it's not like a lockdown that you will see in another country as there are lots of food stocks and some small stores are still open even the wet marketplace as well. But still, it needs social distancing and wearing a mask should always be prioritized.

This would be the best thing for them to do now, avoid gathering and make sure that you are a meter apart from someone. This is only temporary and if we based our forecast on China, we can contain this virus in 2 months and everything will be back to normal and we could see our PBA players playing again.

By looking at the number of confirmed and recovered cases in China, it looks like that way.

The percentage number of recovered cases in China = 85%
Remaining COVID-19 confirmed cases = 16.24%

Meanwhile, in Italy the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases there was rapidly increasing. Hopefully, this crisis should end as soon as possible so we can back to normal to continue PBA games.

We can say that they are now in the last stage of dealing with the virus and only a few cases established while our country is just starting with the fight same with other countries that currently in lockdown.

It's impossible to think that it will be contained for a few months. What matters here is, we are now seeing slowly that the situation is now being controlled on those countries that heavily infected with the virus-like China and South Korea. PH will follow soon.

The more the people realize that following government instructions the more this virus will be contained or it will lessen the risk. We all knew that
WHO is really trying to find the proper treatment for this virus.

However, I am afraid that it would still not change the current situation, there's no PBA games for sure as it's been a directive not to be part of the mass gathering, PBA games are in a big venue, they want people to come to watch them for them to profit, so as long as there is no vaccine found yet, its possible that PBA will stay on pause and based on what I read, the vaccine will take time to produce, it will take months, so same scenario still?

It's time for us to help each other in time of crisis, those who are earning well can help the people who suffers due to this lock down, some does not even have a job and they need some help for their food. Everyone of us can help in any way, and I am just happy to read that one of the PBA players which I Idolize has its own way to help.
