An impressive performance again for Simmons fulfilling his promised before leaving NLEX, 4-0 and they all alone leading the standing, let see if they will keep it after Simmons go, they needed to work as one and with the new upcoming import they need to stay that same level of confidence to keep that position.

Hopefully, we will see him back soon, he will be a good challenger for Brownlee who is so far the best import in the PBA.

Best import in the PBA? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong though. He's a good import and lead the Ginebra to multiple title and his most memorable achievement in the league is the 3 point buzzer beater against Meralco that gave them the title.

Brownlee has been the best import for some PBA fans because he is on Ginebra. What if Brownlee will be on another team like Blackwater or TerraFirma? Can we still consider him as the best import in the PBA? I don't consider him as the best import unless he will go to a bottom tier team in the PBA and lead the team to a title (obviously it will never happen as he is the resident import of Ginebra already). The good thing about Brownlee though is the fact that he is still undefeated whenever he goes to the PBA Finals.

But who knows that a sudden change of events will happen and Simmons might face Brownlee soon.

Anyways, Ginebra's first game at this conference will be today, Sunday. They will face the struggling Rain Or Shine and expect a huge gap in the ML odds.

He also said in an interview that he'd be happy to play again under Coach Frankie. The bond has been created maybe between the 2, I expect that Simmons will play again in our league.

This is a good and exciting game. Magnolia had the chance to win or send the game to overtime when Perez missed both his free throws but San Miguel's defense was so tight. They were able to easily close-in to whoever Magnolia passed the ball. In the end, Paul Lee was forced to make a 3-point hail mary but unfortunately did not go in.

ROS was able to make a stand in the 3rd even taking the lead but Ginebra was just too much for them. ROS is still missing a consistent contribution from their locals. Ball movement is missing and no local is actually reliable to make a drive to the paint. They have to rely to their import to do that. A lot of adjustment is needed in the plays of ROS if they want to be a contender this conference. Once the defense of Ginebra is activated and Brownlee, as you said, took over, it is over for ROS.

I guess it's good that I'm busy while the game is on-going because I didn't have a chance to put my bet on to any teams. A while ago, I want to put my bet on ROS because of how they played last conference, but it's good that I didn't because they lost.

6 players from Ginebra scored in double digits and our Kabayan Brownlee got a triple-double in his first game on the Governor's Cup this season. 29 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Just wow I guess. Qualls on the other hand scored 23 points, but had a poor shooting night with only 7/21.

That last shot might gain another controversial hahaha, I remembered that last shot from Mambatac and it almost cause his life recieving lots of threats from bettors who lose their bets because of that last wild shot from Mambatac, I wish it serves my memory right but if I mistakenly name him please correct me,.

Northport was playing without Bolick when they got their losses. I think their import is playing well and with Bolick back on the roster, they will start winning again. Rain or Shine has poor local performance. They distributed the ball poorly on their first few games that caused their game. Maybe they can change their import but if the locals do not put their acts together, it will still be hard for them to win. I think the locals of Magnolia are playing well. I have not watched their first matches but based on their performance last night, I think their import is still good.

Thanks for the headsup let see if there's a good result after changing their imports, the locals are still doing good still in the same routine but without the help or without a good production from thier import they will be having difficulty winning the game. The new import needs to adjust with how the team rotates the ball and how they play the game.

Execution wise, Magnolia is good in terms of offensive executions while with their defense they are also good in restricting the team to completely dominates.

Not wasting much time, the Hotshots decided to bring in a returning import in Antonio Hester in a bid to turn their campaign around in the PBA Governors Cup.

A returning import that played in TerraFirma a few years ago. His name was familiar when I first saw it, and I saw the pictures where he played in TerraFirma.

It's a good move by the Magnolia to replace McCree because he only played well on his first game, but completely shut down on his next 2 games where he only scored 13 and 12 points respectively. A one bad game for an import in our league is considered unacceptable already, but to do it twice? There is a problem with him already.

Anyway, the Hotshots must win most of their games or they will end up at the bottom of the spot. I don't know, but in order for a team to clinch into the playoffs, they must win at least 5 in order to have a slim chance and 6 to secure the spot. In Magnolia's case, they must win 6 on their last 8 games if they want to enter the playoffs. Their import replacement will be a huge factor towards Magnolia's run this Governor's Cup.

Next game will be this February 10, they'll be playing the Phoenix SUER LPG, I think they have a chance of winning here, but it still defends if they will get a good import, because if they'll have the same import as their present, then most likely that losing streak will continue.
