Barcelona is going to come back to the La Liga stronger after the recent game in the Champions League against Dinamo Kiev.
They will get a huge morale boosting from this win against the Ukrainians and there is still time to challenge the La Liga title. Atletico is the favorite right now but we should not neglect Barca as Messi is still very dangerous and he is a part of Barca's attacking part which is on fire right now.

I am really curious how Barcelona will solve this. And then you also hear the coach say that he has no doubts. But it is 12th on the list, laughable actually.
They are closer to relegation football than championship  

Don't forget that Barca is missing two additional games. La Liga is a puzzle for the moment with teams played 8 or 9 or even 10 games..
So winning those 2 matches will make Barca side to side with Real Madrid but the latter is missing also 1 game...
Sevilla position can be modified considerably also later and ATM can run with 3 points from Sociedad assuming getting all points from missing games.
Just to say that there is still hopes for Barca but if they resume winning again

The match between Atletico and Barcelona showed very well the main problem of Barcelona this season.
Barcelona players just don't have enough self-confidence, and when they conceded a goal they were too scared to try anything and change the score.
With this approach, Barcelona players have no chance to do anything worthwhile this season.

I think the main problem of Barcelona team is their match strategy. We all know there are a lot of internal strife within their team. Almost all the players are a bit angry on the board. But still I think their playing strategy in La Liga should be change. They have not lost a single match in the Champions League, but they have failed miserably in La Liga. They are also losing against easy opponents. I hope that, if they can change the strategy of the game, Barcelona will be able to come back in the top 3 teams in La Liga.

If you think that main problem of Barcelona team is their match strategy, then you probably think the coach is the most responsible and needs to be replaced?
Personally, I think the main problem of Barcelona is the lack of any strategy and vision, not just match strategy but also the development plan, finances, club management etc.
It's already being said that the club has serious debts and is on the verge of bankruptcy.
The club needs urgent changes or the whole concept will collapse.
They simply can't spend more than they earn and have to adjust to this corona age when their incomes have dropped significantly.

Yes, it's a bit early to call for the winner of the league. As the league of EPL is sorting out, I believe, the top teams would again come to the top in La Liga. I think that it would be either Real or Atletico that would be crowned the champions. Though Barcelona too would gain much position but the trouble in Barcelona is not going to end soon and would probably remain for years to come.

I understand that seeing Barcelona that low does make people a bit scared about what is going on but to be frank they are 2 games behind Madrid and if they win their next 2 games they would be at the same points at Madrid at fourth. People keep forgetting about this, and sure if they won against at.madrid that would have been much better for them, they would have been 2 games behind while only 3 points behind which would have given them a bigger chance, but at this point when the league is so early, there is really no need to get scared like this.

It is their 8th game only and they have a million more to play. I know Barcelona had a rocky season and with now Maradona dead, that could hurt Messi a bit and maybe should give him a small break but at the same time I think they are going to be fine in the long run.

i don't think the death of Maradona could affect Messi's performance, he'll get over it, and speaking of La liga leaderboard, we all know that Barca

Despite Maradona is only 5 feet 5 inchi but he had some incredible skill. that is the main reason we love him. He had some different skills, some awesome dribbling. Which we did not see among any other players of that time. So he was a unique player of that time. I will never forget such a legend.

Real Madrid need a skilled striker now. Though Benzama can score regularly, but he is not a good striker like Ronaldo, Messi or Neymar.

Why do you look like underestimate the quality of Benzema as a striker? Don't you realize that he has a very important role on the front line of Real Madri? IMO, by scoring regularly, it is more than enough as the proof that Benzema is a good striker. Even he never won prestigious individual awards like Ronaldo, Messi or Neymar but he deserves to call as one of best striker in the world. AFAIK, Benzema is one of the strikers who can play consitently so far.

I underestimate Benzama because no other world-class player misses so many chances to score. Mbappe has not won any awards personally, but still I think he plays much better than Benzama. I don't think Benzama is as perfect as the main striker. Real Madrid are in dire need of another talented and skiled world class striker.

I think you should take note that every football player (especially strikers) lose chances; strikers lose stinkers in match and have theirself to blame; but that does not undervalue the importance and experience of Benzema to the Madrid team. Madrid are in need of defensive and midfield maestro as Modric, kroos has lost some vibes; due to old age; while casemiro battles knee injury here and there.

The odds of Mbappe joining Madrid is indeed high; but if Madrid does not find replacement for the midfield talismans; the team is bound to struggle.

without wanting to underestimate barcelona, but kiev dynamo is a team from a very weak league and that even in this group failed to perform well



so barcelona winning in that game was something to be expected due to the fact that Dynamo Kyiv is very weak. I don't see how this victory could be something to boost the morale of Barcelona

as barcelona and juventus are already guaranteed passage to the next stage, so i think the duel between juventus and barcelona will not be very big in this group. but i would like as a juventus fan that juventus would win by many goals when playing against barcelona in the champions league and i hope atletico madrid loses in tomorrow's match
