+ Messi frustrated now and just now received a yellow card. Barca are really playing horrible today- feels like bit lazy and hence it isn't resulting into a good play for them and Alaves are making most of it.

Barcelona really need to let Messi rest occasionally, it was pretty evident that Messi wasn't 100% fit, he was second guessing himself with every play, whether to pass or shoot, getting dispossessed with relative ease, and Griezmanm as usual a waste of space in attack... Damn!

I'd blame Pique for the goal, he held on to the ball for too long and I wasn't even thinking he'd pass the ball!

Both Neto and Pique were pretty bad there. The GK was running forward for god knows what reason even though there were two players running towards him, and Pique never realized Neto was out of position so he passed the ball to him but he could barely control the ball to make a quick pass back to Pique. Pretty unfortunate, tbh

Couldn't believe when he substituted Ansu Fati who was one of the few sharp players forward off and brought in Braithwaite who has done totally nothing

Currently they need to give some rest to Messi because he is not giving 100% and its surely hurting Barcelona very badly in current season after 6 matches they are on 12th spot with 2 wins 2 loses and 2 draw its not good result for them and Koeman is already in serious trouble he can lost his job in near future with this all.

Pretty sure Koeman thought a lot about his decision before going to Barca. He really managed to build something great with the Dutch national team and if he had the feeling that he was only meant as a temporary solution he wouldn't have come to Barca imo. And I don't really think it's time to judge him already. Barca had some rough months behind them with a lot of drama, give Koeman some time to work and see if he can bring Barca back on track. With the Elftal he has proven he can build something up.

What a shameful performance. Only maybe last 10-15 minutes where similar to football that we should play against teams like Alaves. Though, then they had only 10 men on pitch and had to park a bus.
And Neto mistake is something ridiculous. Stop the ball and pass it - it's basics of football, it's unbeleavable to see such mistakes on this level.
8 points after 6 games, don't know what to say about it. What stuck to my eyes today is Koeman - he just sit on bench today with zero emotions and no reaction to action on the pitch...

Alaves goalkeeper wins the man of the match award for me. He was real solid and proved vital to Alaves draw. I think its high time Koeman said his good bye. Barcelona under his management has gotten terrible with each passing game. Barcelona is now a joke. 8 points out of a possible 18 shows how bad they have gotten.

I had everything right on my multi bet. This would be the last time that I'd be including Barcelona in my bets until I can confirm that they're back to winning ways. Koeman needs to be sacked. He's doing very little at the moment.

If only there is no red card , alaves would have win this match to embarassing the giant barcelona (again)
Even to play against 10 men , barcelona still find it is hard to score more goals which makes them failed to get 3 points.
Not a dream start for koeman , evaluation will be done at least in the first half of the season
But of course if everything get worse he could be sacked early than what it has planned.

but i think Barcelona is way better, they missed a lot of chances, and that mistake of Neto had a really important impact to the result of the match
i didn't really think that the absence of Stegen could affect the team that much, but it did, even though Barcelona are having some hard

Yes, I couldn't agree more with you! Ansu Fati was reallly threatening and create spaces, he should have substituted out a midfielder, and throw Braithwaite and Greizmann upfront, or at worse take out Greizmann!

Just 2 points from a possible 12 for Barcelona, and Real Madrid was the only big team from those 12 points, Wow!

Koehman should be replaced with a better coach. I doubt pep will be leaving city for barca again. I just see that he doesn't wanna come back again to the barca.
Remember even messy has boycotted koehman at the first session of training which has proven its players didn't confidence with its players.  A good team will happen when there's good interaction between the players and coach.

I'm sure there's quite a lot of space to improve with the league has only played 6 times for barcelona 2 win 2 draw 2 lost. What if from next week they are unbeatable like having only 2 draw 2 lost and the rest of it just win win and winning , what would you do? Yeah that's true , it's too early to judge now.

Barcelona now looks like Arsenal or Manchester United. They get lost in their strategies and get big failures on the pitch, leagues, transfers. They spent too much money for transfers but their results on leagues (national League or Champions League) are very poor.

Barcelona in few seasons recently are very unstable and weak to attacks of opponents. They can get big wins but not too long later will get their fans very disappointed with big losses. They are all not good, and stable for long runs (in leagues or tournaments). The time of Messi is ending and Koeman or Barcelona can not rely on him to rebuild the team.

If they win a title, it might be a last one for this generation of players. AC Milan got their last trophy with Ibra but they only slipped down till the return of Ibra in second half of last season.

that way of playing that was characteristic of barcelona is getting lost, i saw a barcelona that was not intimidating and that had great problems in scoring goals. definitely the situation in barcelona is very serious. this season it becomes more evident and it seems to me that the chances of fighting to win the league are also distancing from each game. with this weak performance it will only attract the anger of the fans.

Seriously, this is our worst start since 2002 and that wasn't even the season I remember the most for being shitty, but if we have to force ourselves to fight back and only to get one point? Yes, I know it's Alaves at home and they are sometimes our bogey team but when you give away a goal like we did, impossible to get the confidence unshaken.

And yeah both Madrid teams profit.

Barcelona worst display was the first half. Busquets, Dembele all were not performing well enough. They weren't able to find any kind of opening. Well in truth it felt like they weren't trying actually. In second half after the changes, I had some hope after watching Trincao and Pedri play but Alaves really played that half well and defended them strong.

Mistake must be the spotlight of the match but it was just a mistake. Happens for anyone but given the possession and shots Barcelona had Barcelona should have won that easily. They had so much scoring chances all gone wasted.
