Except Real Madrid buckles up and maybe strengthen their squad with more attacking options, then I don't think that they stand a chance. Benzema needs more support upfront and isn't getting such support from Hazard. That's why they end up scoring less and less goals with each passing game coupled with inconsistency. I wasn't expecting a result like this. Osasuna are one of the weakest teams in the league and Real Madrid got a very decent performance for a long time. Like you said, they weren't much willing to win the game. This kind of matches always made me think how they can play so badly when there is no reason for it.

Agreed with Real Madrid is not looking the that team who have ability to win that title with current performance. They have to play with their natural style but it seems they are under heavy pressure and not playing impressive. Maye bey both team played on the same field but I think with Real Madrid have faster and one two touch playing need good field, I think Madrid playing with short touch with short passes so they need good and even field conditions, different if a game relying on long passes is natural if bad field conditions are not too problematic. The condition of the ground was a joke. The ball was not traveling where it should be. Ground passes were nearly impossible. Though Real Madrid was dominant on the ground, they weren't able to score. They even scored one but it was an off-side. In a game where the ball doesn't travel, you can't chase it. The ground favored a draw and draw it is.

I think not getting good results also makes you upset about the situations as well, obviously it should, who would be happy during loss streak. So I assume Messi and all other teammates were having hard time, but they get together and got better and now they are third in the league. Let's rewind our dates to just 2 months ago, everyone talked about how Barcelona was horrible, how they were done, how they were old, how they would be nothing soon, how they need to rebuild, and many other things. What happened? Now they are third, and that type of deal happens, specially on early days of the season.

I am not saying they will win the championship from here, they very well might but they do not have to, even though it happens rarely Athletico Madrid could still win the title, who knows? Or Real maybe will win it, all I know is Barcelona proved they are not that bad which of course makes players happy.
