Seems to Atletico will be a champion this year! Despite they weren't playing too spectacular  in Champions League they seems to be on good track to win La Liga. I am very close to bet for them however I am afraid odds are not encouraging now

I think that atleteco is in the best way this year in la liga and i believe if they keep the same rhythm no one can cath them and they will be champion...the 2 unplayed matches that they have will be very important

Remember that Atletico just played 16 matches, and there 22 matches remaining. You are too early saying no team able to compete Atletico. No one can guarantee if Atletico can maintain their good performance till the end of the season. Who knows if Atletico players' performance is decreasing and maybe some players get injured. I don't pray for this, but it is very possible to happen with a large number of matches remaining.

Real Madrid is playing with only one skilled striker.

You are too underestimate Real Madrid. Do you think the goals only come from Benzema? While other players like Hazard, Asensio, Vinicius, Mariano, etc cannot make a goal and have no skills? Think again deeply mate!!

yes they played a magnificent season they only lost once against real Madrid away but since then they did not lose points much and they are leading with four points away and with two games less  and with Barcelona and real Madrid performance i think laliga is theirs without a doubt.

Atletico Madrid will play an easy game against Eibar away. Eibar have had a really bad performance in their home games so far. I don't think they can keep up with Atletico in this match too. I think Atletico will continue to win here too.

Amazing results of the Spanish Super Cup. Bilbao did not seem to have beaten Real Madrid enough, so they also dealt with Barcelona, having played twice during the match. Koeman was left without a trophy despite Griezmann's two goals and Messi's presence on the pitch. I am not sure that Koeman will remain in the team after the election of the new leadership of Barcelona. Messi still managed to get a straight red card and leave the field.

Barcelona should have learned from Real Madrid's defeat, which means Bilbao is not an easy team to beat. It is proven that Bilbao managed to score
a goal in the last minute, this is proof that the fighting spirit of Bilbao players is very good. Even entering extra time, Bilbao finally got the upper hand
after Inaki Williams scored a goal. And what was surprising was that Lionel Messi got a red card, this made Barcelona even more depressed. Making Barcelona must be able to score goals with only 10 players. Finally the match ended, Bilbao who managed to win the Supercopa.

Messi was not ready for the game. And there was no need to release him on the field. He cannot help the team in such a state. I think without him Barcelona would have more chances to win. It's time for Barcelona to learn to play without Messi.

Yeah, well done to them, seriously. I actually thought we were going to bring the cup home and have ourselves something nice for the post Christmas era, and all this after going it the hard way, but I think Bilbao reminds everyone why they have not relegated and won't. Full credit to them, they totally deserve it with the way they played.

Valencia are going to play a home game against Osasuna this week. Valencia are the 14th with 19 points and Osasuna are the second last with 15 points. Valencia got a win against Valladolid after weeks of losing points. Osasuna got no win on the last 5 games (4D 1L). I think it will be a challenging game for both teams but I expect a win for Valencia.

The poor guy is being ruined by Barcelona and I guess now it is clear why: Barça managers are trying hard to lower his chances to get a better contract somewhere else. I do not like how they are treating him as he did a lot to his team when they needed it most. Now, that the opposite is happening he is being held an hostage by the blaugrana.

Barcelona is showing their defense system still weak and can not manage to protect their leading goals.

One good point from the lost final for Barcelona: Griezman is back. I don't recall the time when he scored few goals in continuous matches for Barcelona. He is back probably.

Bilbao has a good history to use their home grown players. They are unique club in Spain with this style.

Athletic Bilbao were like they took the revenge of their league match that Barcelona beat them away. It was really an awesome game for them. I think A. Bilbao totally deserved to win this.

A foul that Messi shouldn't have committed. He can still run in other directions without having to knock the opponent down. He is no longer dribbling, I think Messi's ambition to win and score a goal takes away his concentration, so he commits this unnecessary foul. This result also makes Barcelona's position even more difficult, when Messi really leaves both the transfer window this time and at the end of the contract, Barcelona will experience the same problem. it seems like they don't pay attention to the end of their star players careers with the club.

I wouldn't argue about that and wish him good luck somewhere else. Barcelona is no longer attractive for him for many reasons and I respect that but honestly what he did was very aggressive, unprofessional and not justified. He might be suffering psychologically and needs assistance or a rest but slapping and throwing his opponent that way will make him a target for more criticism. He might face a ban up to 12 matches..
