Seems like that is going to cost more than $10 per S3. which cost maybe $10 per S3.

If you don't want the fancy board, and use just bare cables and something to hold them on the PSU you could find Dell 750w's for around $10 with a few dollars more to buy the cables.

Edit: We're honoring the 250 machines price point although less than 200 were actually paid.
I hope enough people see this. I won't praise SP-Tech for this because people trolls will say I am biased, but this should be remembered. No drama here..but just a note that on the group buy above.....the closed group buy page shows 386 units sold and less then 200 paid for according to Spondoolies...wow! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=575499.0I did not realize that on such group buys (perhaps?) you can have such a drop in NOT paying etc.... Kinda shocked that almost 50% do not pay..IN FULL....maybe this is common just pointing it out.... Searing One customer, the 185 machines, decided not to honor the reservation. Above 98% of the rest did. Well..that certainly will do it....had me wondering there...ouch! Thanks for your efforts on our behalf on here....good to see the support active on a forum by an equipment seller...it is refreshing .. and unfortunately unique in my experience. Searing Thanks Spondoolies-Tech for honouring the Group Buy price point for the rest of us. I'm shocked to hear that the 185 machine Whale dropped out.

Atop that, server gear may have lower efficiency and lifespan compared with an 80+ gold ATX supply, and can be way louder (if that matters in the setup) I personally switched all my DPS800 stuff over to 1200W GOLD or better supplies when i found some on the used market at good prices

I really want a SP31, and agree that it is far and away the best miner on the market right now, but just can't get over that $4000 price with a two month lead time. Come on Spondoolies, please make it easier for me to be a repeat customer! yeah that price at 5.5TH for when you would get it looks high to me now with the likely difficulty changes coming the next 4 difficulty turns imho. yeah looking at the end of oct likely when/if you get the unit in hand best case scenario...I'm not sure.....at current prices prob should just buy coin.. anywone have any idea what difficulty is ? likely ? to be of say next 3 turns of the clock? I mean KNC is dumping 2nd and 3rd batch neptunes in that time frame the sp30's hit sept 20th the next batch of antiminer S3's hit could we be looking at 20% diff changes till the next lull? don't ask me just throwing out here to see what sticks on the wsll Searing

Just found about http://www.rigwarz.com/ My only know-how comes from the forum, but it seems that I found an unbiased opinion about the SP30. It seems that it's doing very good besides all the trolls whining. Only 2 days ROI difference between S3 and SP30. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Edit: Well if you add the 12 PSU cost I think that the SP30 might achieve ROI just a little faster than the S3s. Math is nice! Crypto is uber! RigWarz clearly says .67 while you say .578. Your trickery, slant and bullshit at every turn is boring. Read 10x time the below highlighted part: so anybody have any information about underclocking and extending the sp30 lifetime in light of the giant difficulty increases?
Max voltage 0.67 (can't set it lower from the web GUI) and I'm getting 3.62Th/s and 0.58W/GH! So 0.58W/Gh is by underclocking, not normal operation. Tard. S3+ ROI: 180 days
SP31 ROI: 360 days If the difficulty will be just a bit better than in your projections then the SP31 is clearly a winner. I can't help noticing that after the so praised ROI the S3 is doing close to nothing, while the SP31 is still doing something. Also I can lower the power efficiency down to 0.58W/GH and doing that will help me earn more money after difficulty reaches 70 billion so getting ROI will be faster than in your projection.

Care to share your projections which make the SP31 a winner? I can't find any scenario where that turns out to be the case. If you buy 5.5TH worth of S3's you will mine ~$1200 worth of bitcoins before SP31's even begin shipping. 5.5TH worth of S3's would use about 4200W or 1200W more than an SP31. At $0.1/kwh it would take 416 days of mining before the SP31 becomes a better deal. As for the S3's making close to nothing after ROI, check again. (Changed it to 5.5TH worth of S3's) S3+SP31

More info on shipping... compensation... and October deliver please less on speculation of earnings. We get it. We got it the first time. The second time... and when the price of BTC falls we get to hear it again.

As usual you are misleading. You are assuming that you will start hashing with all S3s on 14.09 while the SP31 starts hashing on 20.10. That is wrong and your whole calculations are way off. SP-Tech never shipped first batch after 15th of the month.

Didn't even see that. I assumed that Batch 1 will stat before 15. But the misleading is still there. The S3 will not hash on 14 September.

I'm also assuming that you will not have 100% uptime with over 12 S3s Edit: Usually my assumptions are based on the past facts, not on guesses.

I'm also assuming that you will not have 100% uptime with over 12 S3s 100% probably not, but I don't see why extremely close to that isn't possible. I have 11 S1s that are currently sitting at around the same uptime (27d 5h 2m 48s) since that's when I last messed with my electrical setup. Bitmain makes a pretty reliable product once it's set up. The S2 had issues when I first got it, but other than that it's been great too. That being said, I wouldn't bet on an S3 hashing by Sept 14th. They claim Sept 20th, and while they might start shipping on the 11th I wouldn't bet on it.

It depends on the dates we'll receive the ASICs lots. We're trying to pull-in the dates, but we didn't get a commitment yet. We commit to the 2nd half of October. It might be before if we'll be able to get the ASICs before.

... There is also a chance that the SP31 performs like SP30 should have at ~6.6TH but I'd guess it's more likely it ends up closer to 4.5TH ...
Our commitment and guarantee is for 5.5 TH/s +- 5% with 3KW at the wall. It will probably preform better with the production tweaking we're doing. By guarantee I mean that we'll compensate for missing hash-rate by the $/GHs ratio of the deal.

Another work-week soon is over for ST and the groupbuy still don't mine and i have no email. I'm really disappointed! 2 Weeks ago order no #1125 started mining and 117x don't after 2 weeks? It's only +50 order numbers, with normally are only 1/2 of paid orders! (you can check if you enter a # on http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp30-one-month-hosting ). So you didn't deliver 30 orders in 2 weeks? Srsly? Only real chance to ROI is finding a solo block or the diff falling under 7% increase. Otherwise all group buy members paid ~2000USD for this "deal". Sad but true, for me ST is the new KnC and i'm finally out of this mining business :/

It was stated that the 50 orders between the delivered order and the GB orders have a lot of units ordered. They have delivered a lot of units in these 2 weeks.
