Does NXT have asset to asset trading?
No. Then I predict over 100 sats by the end of today. This proves Qora is far superior and useful compared to NXT's quite rudimentary trading system. This has either no relation to NXT code or it is simply developed in a vastly better way. Obviously it's clear that it's simply new code. Lastly the sky is the limit price wise. Why care about NXT a dumbed down Qora when you can have Qora? I think we have earned boasting rights over NXT and other second gens.

Just as a note and a thought, I'm now a proud owner of an amount of Qora! This is a fun and altogether pleasing experience so far, and after having read a number of different people's opinions I'm strongly convinced that I'll hold the coin and see where it goes. If the 400+ pages of replies on this thread alone are any sense of measure, then this community has a ton of potential - and I'm glad to be here.

Sellers do not sell under 100 sats!
You'll hinder the momentum and only hurt yourself, this thing is gonna rocket when people hear about it.

Just bought a few mill Can anybody explain the dividend payment system. I guess none of the currencies have this atm. Not sure how it works. And we're looking at 1000 sats within two months Nxt does dividend payments through Nxt Services. In other words, it's not in the core yet, but it's not manual, either. In future I think Nxt will do dividends in the core by way of a simple Smart Contract, and if that isn't good enough it will be added directly. Mostly in the Nxt community the solutions available and coming mean they don't see it as a big deal. Will Qora's update next week include dividend payments? They aren't mentioned in Qora's #9017 post, and the paper linked in #9037 is in the early planning stages (eg, undecided about how general they will be).

There is a small change of plans regarding assets.
During this weekend I found some problems with the current version so I had to fix those. This means that somewhere during this week I will post the final version including the GUI. After that we will have to wait a few days to make sure the heavy forgers have had the chance to upgrade and then assets will finally launch.
You will be able to trade any combination of pairs. This includes Qora/Asset, Asset/Qora or Asset/Asset. All the orders on the exchange will be matched automaticly.
Fantastic news!!!!

What I think this date reveals is not just its a great platform and is as good or better than competitors but that this clearly isnt releated to the base code of NXT. its like open source without actually going open source. I do think its great NXT is keeping up with Qora though....from a distance of course.

I like asset to asset trading, wish others had it, well done Qora, this is a brave move to do this first.
If I understand it correctly it means people can list their assets and only pay a fee to use the exchange?
So it means I don't have to have enough Qora to trade just enough to pay any TX fees, which is neat, of course as long as someone has listed a trading pair I can use..

Can NXT trade assets to assets? Nope. That's pretty cool. More generally, it's good to see another coin's take on how to do things, especially when it makes different choices. (I'm not sure how important this one is in practice, though.) What I think this date reveals [...] that this clearly isnt releated to the base code of NXT. Agreed. Of course, we already knew that because Qora has voting and Nxt hasn't (yet). I do think its great NXT is keeping up with Qora though....from a distance of course. Well, for me it's the other way about. Qora is just now getting an Asset Exchange (and it still isn't out yet) which Nxt has had for months. More importantly, the Nxt Asset Exchange has become a base for other features, like the multigateway exchange. Nxt also has a Digital Goods Store. There are other areas where Qora is ahead, such as voting: but it doesn't seem to have many users. Perhaps the AE is the feature which will bring Qora to public notice. If not, well, there's no point having features if no-one uses them. I'm concerned that Qora is leaving adoption too late.

You guys should quickly start building businesses on top of Qora AE once it's available. That's what crypto 2.0 technologies are about. They are not coins. They are fuel and a transport layer for businesses on top of the blockchain. If there is just a piece of software with features, no matter how nice and robust they are, and nobody uses them, then it's just a piece of dead code. That's where you need a community, to build companies, to interact, to do a lot of other work. What one can observe now in Qora is one developer and perhaps a hundred guys or less waiting for the price to take off by itself and not lifting a finger to make it happen.
One simple question: how many nodes are there in Qora network? Every time I start Qora client to sync I always see a few, no more. PoS network is about building nodes too. With just 10 nodes or so it doesn't go very far. To build nodes you need to provide bounties to node owners, etc. You can do that right now, you don't have to rely on the Qora developer to grow the network.
