I'm having a hard time finding a reason not to take the Bills +3 tomorrow, their defense has been outstanding and KC seems to be slowing down on both sides of the ball. It is a home game for the Chiefs, however. Bills are 3-1 vs the spread and have the most points against the spread of any team whereas the Chiefs are 1-3.

So... I'm doin it. I'm locking up the Bills to cover, and its not just to justify my decision to bench Mahomes for the week. My record is 0-3 for the year so take it with a grain of salt, or as a reverse barometer.

Oh and I just noticed, next week I have 3 players with a BYE, now one is already out so unless Gronk can play next week I will have 6 players out if I do not do anything about it.

Agreed. The only argument against the Bills is they are on the road and they have not yet faced a top football team. However, it does not appear that the Chiefs are performing like a top team hehe. There is also another team that has been good against the spread, the Cowboys 4 - 0 ats. Their -7 should be -10 versus the Giants?

Somewhat unusually I have only one of the 1 PM ET games to follow today so I can relax and enjoy TB crushing Miami... and it looks like Elon is crushing Maddogs too. Unfortunately I chickened out on grabbing Antonio Brown, would have been very handy against wheelz. Oh well, hindsight and all that.

If you had the Vikings in your Survivor pool/Eliminator challenge you were in for a ride today. lol  Vikings up 7 with a minute something left in the game, need a first down or just kick it, Lions are out of timeouts.  Mattison fumbles the ball, the Lions score and goes for two,  converts up 17-16. Only to lose to a last-second FG by Joseph.  I had both Joseph and the Vikings D/ST in my Yahoo league, likely to win it for me, 26pts combined. 

Bengals and Packers had a crazy finish as well, so many missed FGs there.

I was watching the Buccanneers and I was very surprised that he was available for the waiver wire. I quickly claimed him in exchange for Browns dst before the next group of games begun hehehe.

In any case, @nutildah, it appears that you will win hehe. Justin Herbert, Mike Williams for you and Ekeler for me had good performances for the Chargers. We might see them go to the playoffs.

It was one of those rare instances where my prophecy was heard and got fulfilled. Three players carried my entire team this week. Of course it didn't help you that you had McPherson as your kicker. Man what a game that was! Good for Crosby that he could finally redeem himself after already having 3 chances to do so.

Bills looking pretty good to win as well, this week marks the end of my unlucky streak.

Can the Tampa Bay Buccanneers, Patriots or Kansas City Chiefs still be champions? What are your opinions?

We are only 5 games into a 17-game season. Technically any team can still become champions (IIRC last year Bucs did it after having 5 losses in the regular season).

Ok, Jaguars, Lions, Jets, and Giants can't really win it unless all other teams just give up. That still leaves 28 contenders, and literally half of them will make it into the playoffs.

Well... Giants and Lions were one of the teams that I figured I hadn't been playing so well. I will follow the other games more and see what can happen this season.

Exactly that, talent and a solid staff without distractions.

They both have great fan bases which helps as well.

Good example of a failed franchise is Greenbay that has 2 out of those 3. Greenbay should have been in the superbowl many times over the last decade but internal strife has kept them from being champions.
