Another win by Lyon, wow! Especially that win over Monaco was really surprising to me as their opponent wasn't playing with 10 players either. Now they have made their winning streak three games thanks to another win over Nantes home. Lyon played really impressively from the beginning to the end honestly. They were really effective with their goal attempts so they deserved it.

These consecutive wins have helped them get out of the relegation zone so far. But to maintain this they need to continue to work hard just like this. But while they are on fire I expect the players to perform really motivatedly to move on solidly.

At least, when Lyon always managed to score in some previous matches such as against Lens, Rennes and several other matches. Then ya, I think, at that time Lyon seemed to have good potential to recover even though indeed, after those matches the fact Lyon still lost big too like when playing against Marseille lost with a big score of 3-0 and also lost against Lille with a score of 2-0.

But even so, the fact is that Lyon still managed to recover even though slowly. But ya, ofcourse, with good results from these three consecutive matches, then Lyon managed to get out of the relegation zone in the first half of the season . Furthermore, it is clear that Lyon still needs to work hard to be able to completely stay away from the relegation zone in order to get a safer position of course.

Lyon's recent situation was miserable but they seem to be making a comeback now. 3 victory in 3 matches is really good as they are now out of the relegation zone. But the dangers are not over yet.

They need to keep up this winning streak. Their next match is against Le Havre, which is a relatively weaker team, if they manage to get this Victory, they might even move to the 12th position. They used to be a team who used to always play the Uefa Champions league but for the past 3-4 seasons they are nowhere near that. But this season their performance declined very heavily. Their 3 match streak is good. Them going near the relegation zone is very humiliating for the club with this dignity. Their next match victory is very important, as it would get them totally out of the relegation zone. Their morale is high right now after 3 match win streak and they should be able to continue this streak.

But even so, the fact is that Lyon still managed to recover even though slowly. PSG must not underestimate Real Sociedad. They were able to perform quite well in the Group by ranking first and not experiencing defeat. In La Liga they also performed quite well even though they were only able to be in the top 10. PSG is too dominant in Ligue 1 this season and no other team is able to compete with them. I just hope people don't get bored with Ligue 1 because there are no worthy opponents for PSG. I think NICE can be a contender this season but with 2 defeats in the last 5 matches I think NICE have to find a way for them to continue to be consistent in their game.

Real Sociedad have a good form but they won't be under rated in the slightest way. Luis Enrique having worked and played as a Spanish player should already have this in his brains and should be already planning the perfect means to get the progress from this round.

I don't know if it is an advantage when the coach comes from the country that the opponent comes from. Times change and sometimes teams and strategies change within just a single year. The analysis has to be done anyway.

The result was that while they did well in the strike positions, they did not perform well in the midfield and defense positions due to which they underperformed last season despite high expectations. PSG has less star players this season compared to last season but the team is doing well this season with the arrival of a new manager. The limits to PSG's improvement may remain limited to Ligue 1 this season.

When PSG had a hand full of world class players such as Messi, Neymar and mbappe they were unable to still win the champions league and upon this I have continually built some doubts that if they couldn't win the UCL with all these players present then it will be even tough for them having one star player alone and hoping to win the champions league.

Their problem doesn't really lay within the presence of Star players been in the team but with their attitude of team play because that has a lot to do with how well they will perform and the results they will get at the end of the match and the season. PSG don't have a chance a at winning the UCL this season because their form currently isn't stable and the competitiveness of the UCL is such that they need stability and consistency to be able to win the league title this season. But the Ligue 1 is much easier for them to win which I think they should focus on winning the Ligue 1 and probably prepare better for next season UCL.

If we look back, Brest is a mid-table team and has often finished at the bottom of the table in the past few seasons. However, this season they gave different results and continued to achieve consistent wins in every match. Brest are unbeaten in the last 6 matches and they have only lost 4 times so far. This is a very good record considering that they can now be in the top flight and have quite a big point difference over teams like Lille, Marseille and Lens.

I'm curious whether Brest will be able to finish in the top 4 this season or will they return to mid-table because the competition will be increasingly difficult in the remainder of this season and if they let their guard down then that could possibly happen in the future. Well, I actually expect something different every season, but if we talk about PSG they will still come out as champions.

I didn't pay attention to Brest at all during this season and to be honest this team was totally unknown to me because I didn't see good performance from this team during the last season.
But after the game between Brest and Lorient in which Brest won the game with a 4-0 result, I think we can even see a miracle from Brest during this season if they continue the good performance.

If we talking about Lorient this team was got promotion on season 2019-2020 and they can able to survive at Ligue 1 until now although almost for each season Lorient always be hard struggle to avoiding relegation zone but at least Lorient can able to survive in the last 3 season and indeed last season Lorient was reach one of their best achievement during participant at Ligue 1 because at that time Lorient can able to finish at 10th place with collect 55 points from 34 matches but this season i think it's very hard for them to achieve again top 10 position

Ligue 1 was already to reach mid season but there was no good progress from Lorient although the league still have 17 matches remaining but i was highly doubt Lorient can able to bounce back and avoiding relegation zone and talking about Lorient upcoming opponent for next month they have tight schedule because they have to fight against tough team Lille and indeed for the first meet Lorient can win with big scores from Lille but with their current condition i was doubt Lorient will be able to repeat that result even most likely they will be lose from this match

Lorient have managed and tried to remain in top flight league since they got that promotion over 4 years ago. Yea they might be struggling at this point but it’s not much a big deal because they’re still an average club and not much is expected of them yet. They’ve got quite some crazy fixtures which much hopes aren’t there that they would be able to get important wins to get off relegation zone. Well let’s see how the teams builds up for the Second half of the season.

They are a hard working team that is doing awesome as of now. They had one weak phase and that was three games in a row against Lille, PSG and Monaco and they lost them all consecutively. That were two weeks where they had a down so to say, but other than that they have been surprisingly stable across all the games. I didn't see that they were doing so well in Ligue 1 as I didn't really follow them. Maybe they are a team to keep an eye on from now on.

I was not surprised by the results achieved by Brest in the match against Lorient because they were not an equal opponent this season because Brest was stronger than Lorient so the results they got were of course quite reasonable because they were stronger than their opponents. In the Ligue 1 standings table we have seen several teams that have shown better changes in improving their position in the standings table and one of them is Brest where for the time being they have managed to sit in the top 4.

Lens have also started to show a better comeback recently but unfortunately they failed to maintain their good trend in the previous match because they were beaten by Nice. But Lens efforts to return to the top 4 are likely to be successful until the end of this season competition. So at the top, PSG is still the one who controls Ligue 1, they cannot be hindered by other teams because as long as PSG has Mbappe, they will continue to dominate Ligue 1.

The problem of Paris Saint Germain isn't about  the number of quality star players they have as a team but because of lack of tactical approach that's good enough to see them win the only trophy that's eluded as a club.  They've hired a whole lot of top European managers to help them achieve their biggest aim in sports but  unfortunately for them, none of them have been able help them achieve that aim.

Thus Luis Enrique's first season with the club and he was able to help them progress to the knockout stages of the UCL after playing in the hardest group of the season.  Hopefully he's gonna go a step better than the club's best achievement in the UCL and that's to win the competition.

I'm sure this match for Lyon will be easier than the last one. With 2 consecutive wins in the last two matches, Lyon started to get hopeful. They were at the bottom of the league. They are now up 2 places. If they are lucky in the Nantes match, they will win the match and continue to climb to the top. Frankly, I wasn't very hopeful about Lyon until the last 2 matches, but the last matches proved me wrong. I now believe that Lyon can surprise any team.

It happened, they were able to beat Nantes, as expected, the teams with a weak attack could not score many goals, but Lyon only needed one goal scored and a good defensive game to achieve such an important victory. By the way, the game was relatively equal, but it was very important for Lyon to win, now they have got out of the relegation zone, and now they need to try to strengthen their positions, such a team should not leave Ligue 1.

Lyon are now out of the relegation zone with that victory. That makes their 3rd consecutive Victory. They won the match with Lacazatte's goal in the 49th minute.

Lyon is a team with history. A team with class. Such a team getting in the relegation zone is always very concerning, especially for their fans. They were in last place and now they are out of the relegation zone. But the danger is not over yet. They need to be consistent in matches and stop dropping points. Their upcoming match is against Havre and if they manage to win that match, then they might be able to jump 2 steps ahead in the ladder of Ligue 1.

I honestly don't understand how Lyon is a team that dropped so much, okay, I know that the level of football is increasing more and more, but last season this team gave a lot to talk about, it was even thought that It was the team that faced PSG so that it could stop them, and they were with Mbappé, Messi, Neymar, and a lot of thought was put into this team as well as Lille, of course I also considered Marseille to see if they could do something , but really they didn't do much, maybe these things could happen better because it could be something relevant but yes, now they have a Mbappé who is only doing things well, because he wants to leave, he wants to impress Madrid to see if they decide For him, something that I don't see as viable, this is a player that doesn't seem good enough to me to go to the white team, I consider Haaland much better because he is more focused on doing things much better, he seems better to me than MBappé himself .

Kylian Mbappé wants to stay at PSG in the January transfer window

According to L’Équipe, Kylian Mbappé (25) would like to stay at PSG in the January transfer window. This is despite the France captain’s current contract at the Parc des Princes expiring in June 2024. The 25-year-old continues to be linked with a move away from the French capital but appears to be prepared to stay put for the time being.

Mbappé’s long-term future is still no clearer with several options still on the table for the former Monaco attacker. However, PSG’s financial FairPlay limits mean they are not forced to sell the Frenchman. Therefore, making a potential January exit for the France International forward even less likely, especially when Mbappé would like to stay in France for now. The problem of Paris Saint Germain isn't about  the number of quality star players they have as a team but because of lack of tactical approach that's good enough to see them win the only trophy that's eluded as a club.  They've hired a whole lot of top European managers to help them achieve their biggest aim in sports but  unfortunately for them, none of them have been able help them achieve that aim.

Thus Luis Enrique's first season with the club and he was able to help them progress to the knockout stages of the UCL after playing in the hardest group of the season.  Hopefully he's gonna go a step better than the club's best achievement in the UCL and that's to win the competition.

The harmony within their squad is still lacking, making it difficult for them to build chemistry. Because after all they are a team that cannot rely on individuals alone, and like it or not, indirectly harmony in the team is very important to be able to create a good atmosphere, be it between players, coaching staff, even management.
They still often have internal problems, especially between players. Having a lot of star players has its own risks, because usually players who are considered stars will have very high egos and they already feel that is the case when some star players who are currently no longer part of them.
One more thing, privileging a player will definitely cause a sense of jealousy between players and I think they have also felt that too, so they should learn from experience.

PSG had the most stars last season but even with the most world class stars they did not do well in the Champions League last season.  When PSG made one surprise in last season's transfer window, we football fans thought maybe PSG would win the champions trophy this season but they forgot to buy midfielders and quality defenders in their rush to buy so many strikers. The result was that while they did well in the strike positions, they did not perform well in the midfield and defense positions due to which they underperformed last season despite high expectations. PSG has less star players this season compared to last season but the team is doing well this season with the arrival of a new manager. The limits to PSG's improvement may remain limited to Ligue 1 this season.

When PSG had a hand full of world class players such as Messi, Neymar and mbappe they were unable to still win the champions league and upon this I have continually built some doubts that if they couldn't win the UCL with all these players present then it will be even tough for them having one star player alone and hoping to win the champions league.

Their problem doesn't really lay within the presence of Star players been in the team but with their attitude of team play because that has a lot to do with how well they will perform and the results they will get at the end of the match and the season. PSG don't have a chance a at winning the UCL this season because their form currently isn't stable and the competitiveness of the UCL is such that they need stability and consistency to be able to win the league title this season. But the Ligue 1 is much easier for them to win which I think they should focus on winning the Ligue 1 and probably prepare better for next season UCL.

I understand your concerns regarding PSG's Champions League struggles. Not knowing how to drive a Ferrari is like that. I don't think PSG's problem is star power. Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé are any team's dream trio. What good is it if they can't cooperate on the field?

See Luis Enrique's method. Despite the team's struggles, he's progressed in the UCL. Tactical setup matters. Unless PSG can find a game plan that maximizes their star players' skills, they're just a bunch of brilliant people playing together. And that wins titles

Remember the mental aspect. Winning Ligue 1 could boost their confidence, but they must continue it into the Champions League. If they can't get their act together tactically and mentally, I doubt we'll see them lifting that UCL trophy anytime soon

Building good chemistry is the main point, apart from improving good performance, this will have a good impact on the future of the club, because it is useless if PSG has star players, sufficient finances, an experienced coach. In fact, this star player's ego problem occurred when Real Madrid built the first generation of Los Galacticos where they brought in many world class stars in the hope that they would become a very strong team. But in reality it's not like that. Lots of star players means there will be lots of egos for the coach to manage. And I see that PSG seems to be experiencing the same thing. I agree that there are no players as great as Mbappe there, but other star players will of course cause jealousy among the players.

Guys, you are too busy talking about PSG, Nice, Lens, or even Lyon that you forget that Brest at the end of this year has moved up to 4th place in the standings. If we look back, Brest is a mid-table team and has often finished at the bottom of the table in the past few seasons. However, this season they gave different results and continued to achieve consistent wins in every match. Brest are unbeaten in the last 6 matches and they have only lost 4 times so far. This is a very good record considering that they can now be in the top flight and have quite a big point difference over teams like Lille, Marseille and Lens.

I'm curious whether Brest will be able to finish in the top 4 this season or will they return to mid-table because the competition will be increasingly difficult in the remainder of this season and if they let their guard down then that could possibly happen in the future. Well, I actually expect something different every season, but if we talk about PSG they will still come out as champions.

I didn't pay attention to Brest at all during this season and to be honest this team was totally unknown to me because I didn't see good performance from this team during the last season.
But after the game between Brest and Lorient in which Brest won the game with a 4-0 result, I think we can even see a miracle from Brest during this season if they continue the good performance.
 

I actually don't really know this team, but as far as I remember, last season they were a point producing team for other teams and yes, this season they have become a strong team and managed to dominate the top flight for a while. Even though we are not all that familiar with Brest, at least this season they have proven their achievements by beating teams like Lens, Reims, Lyon at the start of the season and drawing against other teams like Rennes and Nice. It is clear that it is not easy to match or beat a team that was consistent last season and this time it is Brest's turn to prove that they also deserve a place in this season's competition.

Jealousy happens in football and in a top club. Paris Saint Germain will standout to become one of the top clubs in the world of football but they failed to utilized their opportunities full-time. They failed in all angles and I would say they have everything needed to win the UEFA Champions League but they couldn't due to the signing of big names and these players play with ego since they're bigger than the reputable standards set out for them in the club. Kylian Mbappe is an important player for PSG and losing him to any club will become great loss for the club.
