I fully support the use of vaccines, but I worry about possible long-term side effects with the new vaccines. How can anyone say with any confidence there will be no long-term consequences with vaccines that have been developed so rapidly.

Well because what it does in your body is very logical and basically the same as with traditional vaccines: your body produces antibodies, stores info in memory B cells and destroys the mRNA. The mRNA is then gone within hours so it can’t cause any effect in the future. The only effects that it will cause will be few hours after the shot. After that it‘s just gone.
Antibodies and memory B cells are created upon detecting the newly created (and later destroyed) spike proteins just the same way as in a traditional vaccine, so there‘s no added risk there. We know exactly how the antibodies and memory cells behave since they are created in the same fashion as always. Just a reaction to new unknown spike proteins.

Vaccination is an easy safe and effective way to protect against an infectious disease before it comes into contact with an infected person. Polio diphtheria pertussis tetanus and measles can be prevented by vaccination when we get vaccinated we protect not only ourselves but also the people around us. Some people are advised not to take certain vaccines in which case those who receive the vaccine help prevent the spread of the disease.

Not suprisingly, it seems to have escaped you that one can study something and come to the conclusion that it is OK.  Most so-called 'anti-vaxxers' have studied the hell out of vaccines and many other things.  In many many cases they've come to the logical conclusion that some vaccines are not OK for the purposes that they are marketed.

Of the long list of 'idiocity', only in the case of vaccines is it not OK to even study something.

I avail of information from many sources (although not Facebook since I never had an account on any of the social media platforms.)  When I want detailed info on a subject such as vaccines, I regularly dive into papers published in established scientific journals.  As a matter of fact, it's quite shocking to see how many issues with vaccines and the technology are talked about in these venues.  It's just that people who don't or cannot read such papers never see it, and the mainstream media (or you guy's favorite: Facebook) certainly won't help you here.

As for 'medical school', I'm pleased to say that no, I have done exactly zero days in medical school.  The curriculum is highly controlled and I estimate that 95% of the victims come out as fairly brainless pill dispenser clerks.  Sure, they can recite approved data, but they seem to totally lack any ability to listen to and analyze almost any somewhat challenging medical issue, and especially one for which no profitable pharmaceutical is available.

I diagnosed my most recent medical issue which started at about the time I got 'covid' 9 months ago.  The Ivermectin (dosed as an anti-parasitic appropriate for my body weight) cleared it right up.  Or at least made a notable positive effect.  It's certainly raised some questions in my mind about what, exactly 'covid' is and how it spreads around.

That is called 'reiterating'; not 'doubling down'.

Honestly, some people would benefit by knowing that they might actually be better off intellectually than others for various reasons, and one of the reasons is certainly the deleterious effect that formal education can have on reasoning ability, curiosity, etc.  Schools get the results that their funders desire, and competence in some fields is absolutely not desirable.  A classic example would be medical school and the medical/industrial complex.

If the plandemic has shown us anything it is how totally fucked the 'doctors' are and how they have been wrong about almost everything.  Fighting a coronavirus via isolation is jaw-droppingly absurd to any semi-informed person who knows anything about medicine, and the results have been predictably dismal.  I confidently predicted that when the jabs arrived we'd have massive spikes in 'covid'.  This was easy because it's not difficult to see what 'covid' is and what the 'vaccines' are.  And more importantly, to understand what 'doctors' are, or at least what 90%-95% of them are:  quivering jello, brainless tools, and down-right duplicitous in a lot of cases.  Even more cases than I would have though before the plandemic kicked off and ripped off their masks.

Anyway, there are 5% to 10% of good doctors and medical scientist such as Dr. Peter McCullough and they produce enough information to keep a curious mind like mine occupied with actually valid, valuable, and actionable information.
