I felt sorry for especially Italy and Turkey yesterday. Italy played a game that they had the control of from the beginning to the end. But North Macedonia somehow performed a miracle against Italy and scored the winning goal. And they are one step closer to the World Cup while Italy are out of it completely. Italy were devastated after this result despite all that effort. And the Portugal - Turkey game was really exciting especially at one point. Portugal got 2-0 ahead but Turkey made it 2-1. After that, Turkey got a crucial opportunity by a penalty to score the equalizer. Burak had a big responsibility there but he missed it. And after a loss of self-confidence, Portugal scored one more goal and won by 3-1. It was the turning point of the game for them.

I don't think that North Macedonia can do the same against Portugal as well. They got very lucky against Italy certainly. Italy took control of the game from the start but they still couldn't score a goal despite having 30+ goal attempts. It must be the most unlucky day for Italy and the players were so sad after being eliminated by a weak opponent. But I'm not expecting North Macedonia's luck to exist against Portugal too. Portugal would score an early goal and win by 1-0 or 2-0 I think.

This was truly an unexpected result. It's unbelievable how a team like Italy can't participate in the world cup. Italy is one of the teams I wanted to watch in the World Cup.
