I can’t remember when I’ve ever been so bullish.
A month ago @108k ATH  Smiley

Since then we’ve had Bhutan establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve, we’ve seen Massachusetts, New Hampshire, & Ohio all file interest in doing the same. We’ve seen El Salvador accelerate their purchases. MicroStrategy voting to issue 10,000,000,000 new shares to buy Bitcoin. The perfect storm just keeps brewing. I will say the bitfinex hack victims getting their BTC back is a bit of a negative, but puts pressure on Trump to buy BTC and not just establish a reserve with what we have left.
Since hitting that 108k ATH, there has been a dramatic fall and rise which I feel was caused by panic from investors.
Recently this week, the price has started rising again maybe because people understand that the time is near to another milestone that may come after Trump's inauguration.

Seeing a news about Trump launching his new coin $Trumph before his inauguration has also brought more hope that the 108k will soon be surpassed and 2025 might be one of the most successful years in bitcoin investment.

I bought a little bit of $TRUMP coin. Not because I think it has a future or anything like that. I just like being a part of the movement. It’s fun taking these little rides and being a part of all the little crypto stories along the way. I consider them side quests. I’m shocked at the value currently. More funny than anything else.
It's very nice to know. Since it's launching, $Trump has been more on the rise reaching up to 104% rise as at this time. Everything is warming up for Trump's inauguration and so is the entire crypto world.
I strongly believe that wonders may happen from few days to come and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. The world has put a lot of hope in Trump and his policies. All things being equal, aside politics there is high hope on the interest his administration will put in raising bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies at large. So investing now is still the right time just like you've understood and showcased.

I have been working hard and now I have finally  reach 100 push-ups!  struggling to get past 40 was a big deal but after doing some exercise to make my  body flexible it made the push ups more easier This push-up challenge has been a total game-changer. Now I can keep it up with 100 push ups so that bit coin can actually reach or even pass £ 100k

If your goal is to accomplish something in the ballpark of 100 pushups per day, then maybe you can divide them into somewhere between 3-5 sets per day.. such as sets of 20 or sets of 30 or 35 pushups in a set.  You can also spread your sets out through the whole day to make it easier to accomplish all of the pushups, even though you surely could end up being sore from the pushups, yet also spreading out the sets can sometimes frequently help to manage the soreness and also to make you feel less difficulty in terms of accomplishing the quantity of pushups that you would like to do for the day.

Another thing is that the more that you do pushups, the easier that it should become to do more pushups per set, more sets per day and less time between your pushup sets, in the event that you are either wanting to increase the quantity of your pushups or to make it less painful (and less soreness) during the pushups or between your pushup sets.

Some people take longer to improve their pushups in terms of various ways that they might measure the pushups whether how easy it is to do the pushups or how many you can do or how much pain that you are having from doing the pushups - whether you do them every day or if you might choose a schedule that is less frequently than daily.

You can also choose to submit a pushup report if you want your pushups to be included in the pushups table... You just have to put your pushups in the format like other members are doing, and then on a daily basis, DirtyKeyboard's script scans the thread for the lates pushup report and includes the results in the table (or updates the new report results into the pushups table). The pushup report is voluntary, yet it does potentially help members to keep track and then also to have their pushups adding up to our total pushup quantity that is added up and averaged out on a daily basis.

Some of us are also getting close to having a full year of daily pushups (or regular pushups) that is also somewhat depicted in the table by showing our total number of days doing and/or reporting our pushups.

By the way, even though the pushups table does not show the price for the day, it may well be interesting to have the price in the chart (such as the daily weighted price for the day).  Of course, it is not really difficult to approximate that right now, as I type this post, the BTC price is approximately 4% above $100k - however, we had spent a lot of days even more than 50% lower than our $100k target.. so it will be interesting if the BTC price will stay above $100k or maybe even figuring out whether our ongoing doing pushups might continue to  help ourselves, our psychology or the BTC price itself...

Folding of hands do give me a well balance body when ever time I'm doing my daily push-ups, so i do both the normal push-ups and folding hands push-ups differently and i found the folding hands find okay with me.
This push-ups challenge has make me to develop different kinds of push-ups that i always do everyday and it is really helpful to me.

Of course OgNasty seems to get easily distracted, and sure maybe it works for him to the extent that he is not putting too much value into his distracted baloney or even distracting others into such non-focused-ness.  Don't get me wrong, I am not against fun and I have some of my own ways of funning.

We might consider that there may well be valid questions and/or concerns if anything related to Trump might help in terms of the BTC price staying above $100k and if staying above $100k might be sustainable - and surely bitcoiners tend to realize value in terms of NOT getting distracted into various shitcoins, whether or not the fantasy-isms related to shitcoin pumping may or may not contribute towards either positive or negative BTC price performance or perhaps other dynamics related to bitcoin that goes beyond price, such as various ways that bitcoin has abilities  and potentials to empower individuals, especially individuals who are not overly getting caught up in the custodying of their coins through third parties or getting distracted into shitcoins that are not bitcoin and may well end up being  ways to remove otherwise smart people from their actual bitcoin and into meaningless pump and dump garbage that might not be sustainable beyond relatively short periods of time.

Of course, we are in somewhat of a BTC price oriented threat - and in several ways BTC price can also help us to measure the extent to which bitcoin may well be being adopted and/or expanded in the world finances and/or mindshare - yet at the same time, we might realize that there are times in which the BTC price becomes overpriced or underpriced in terms of its fair market value, yet at the same time, many times we are not necessarily informed about the extent to which BTC might be over or under priced, and at the same time, many of us may well disagree about fair value of bitcoin, including that price discovery does end up seeming to involve market (and society-wide) attempts to figure out fair market value at any particular time.

Many times in bitcoin we have witnessed various ways that bitcoiners have gotten distracted into various kinds of shitcoins or other kinds of scams, and surely some of the ways that bitcoiners might get distracted into shitcoins and/or scams to the extent that Trump and any of his acolytes are pumping of any of his bitcoin affinity nonsense or even the extent that sometimes even pumping the affinity nonsense may or may not contribute to bitcoin price dynamics or even various ways that guys might let their guard down in regards to making sure that they self-custody decent quantities of their bitcoin and not getting distracted to either convert their bitcoin or to believe that any of the various bullshit affinity scam nonsense has value  that is even close to comparable to the value of bitcoin and making sure that you don't lose your focus or overly lose custody of your bitcoin perhaps maybe limit your fucking around with shitcoins to less than 10% of the value of your bitcoin stash.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Hey, I want to join the pushup club.   Smiley  I just did my second set a few minutes ago.  I'll report in re final first day total later.  No way I'll get to 100 / day though, at least for awhile.  But with DirtyKeyboard's table, that gives me some incentive to do some pushups "for the team."

Comments re pushups.  I will do mine on the floor (or ground if outside) with body flat, and I'll try to do them as close to US Armed Forces standards (all the way down, no bouncing, body straight, not too fast) as possible.  Also, I will do some with hands further apart and perhaps some with hands closer together (hard!).

Finally, while pushups are a great single exercise, I try to do some chin-ups when I can, but can't every day as the nearest bar is at a park a half mile away.  I also do range-of-motion exercises each night right before bed to make sure all my major joints get some motion each day (I'm 68).

...Hey, I want to join the pushup club.   Smiley  I just did my second set a few minutes ago.  I'll report in re final first day total later.  No way I'll get to 100 / day though, at least for awhile.  But with DirtyKeyboard's table, that gives me some incentive to do some pushups "for the team."

Comments re pushups.  I will do mine on the floor (or ground if outside) with body flat, and I'll try to do them as close to US Armed Forces standards (all the way down, no bouncing, body straight, not too fast) as possible.  Also, I will do some with hands further apart and perhaps some with hands closer together (hard!).

Finally, while pushups are a great single exercise, I try to do some chin-ups when I can, but can't every day as the nearest bar is at a park a half mile away.  I also do range-of-motion exercises each night right before bed to make sure all my major joints get some motion each day (I'm 68).

Vamos a $120k!

Sure.. welcome, great and do what you can.   I did not get to 100 per day until about a week or so into it..and I was not even really sure if I could do them at first since it had been so long since I had even attempted any kind of regular daily resistance training kind of an exercise, like pushups, and then it took me a couple of weeks to get my average to 100 pushups per day and then over 100 per day..

So surely there can be a lot of soreness along the way, especially when elderly and even adding something new to our daily routine (or if you choose to do them at some other kind of interval), and so spacing out the sets can be good for recuperation time while getting used to them.  

About two months into my pushups, I started to time my sets just to be able to better monitor my consistency and keep better track of various time and timing related matters.

I also had quite a few plateau periods.  

So there were periods of seeming improvement of my quantity, quality or even speed concerns, then periods of seeming stagnation, so sometimes there might be some adjustments that we might make that might contribute to our breaking into some kind of a new plateau.  

I tend to submit my pushup reports every several days and keep track on my own separate excel spreadsheet (though some guys have shown that they use note pads), and usually I won't submit my report on days that I had not yet finished my pushups before DirtyKeyboard's running of the pushup script at midnight UTC each day.  

Of course, if you submit your pushup report after DirtyKeyboard's running of the script, then the results will merely get included in the pushup's table on the following day when the script is run. which there seem to be guys submitting their pushup reports as all hours of the day.

Edit:  By the way, since about late July, I had gravitated towards pretty consistently doing 5 pushup sets per day, and so there can be some variance in terms of my sometimes getting them out of the way early, and then there are other days that I end up spreading them through mostly the whole day.  If I am determined on any particular day, I can  do all 5 sets within a few hours.  In my earliest times of doing pushups, there would have been almost no fucking way that I would have been able to do 5 sets in a short time, and pretty much I had to spread them through the whole day, just to be able to have sufficient time to recover.  So surely my own recovery time is quite a lot better than it was when I started doing the pushups and even after several months doing pushups, I also tended to need to spread my pushup sets through the whole day.  I just did my 4th set, and so yeah, ONLY one set left for the day.. which is a good feeling for me to get through my 4th pushup set of the day.

Today I added 120 push-ups in 6 sets total. It's nice to see new faces here, welcome all. Nobody expects beginners to suddenly do 100 push-ups. This isn't possible if you don't have a sports background anyway. It's a process. You start with 10 and the next thing you know you are doing 100 push-ups without any difficulty. Start with as much as possible and push your body a little more each day.

Congrats.  You should be careful in the very beginning, since you might feel good while doing the pushups, but you may well end up feeling really sore for several days afterwards.. and if you keep doing the pushups every day, you might not feel the soreness going away until your body gets used to its new regular activity, and surely it seems that older bodies take longer to recover so the soreness can linger and even come in unexpected parts.. so you might end up not realizing how sore you are going to end up being, especially if you keep pushing your limits.

Of course, I don't know you, so you will see for yourself the extent to which you might be getting sore or not and if you might feel needs to space out your pushup sets to attempt to account for your recovery time.

If you keep doing pushups daily, then you might be able to get up to being able to do 50 pushups in one set in a matter of a few weeks or maybe a little longer, depending on you.  

My first set of 50 pushups in one set was in about 5 weeks after I started the pushup challenge, and I think that my most pushups in any one set is currently around 75, which I think that was in November, yet I have not tried to do more in one set since about early December since I have been doing split sets since the beginning of December... which is two sets of pushups of 35-50 per split within 2-3 minutes of each other... which tends to result in a total of 70-90 pushups per split set (and 4 of those split sets in a day) and one slow (not split) set per day which my "slow set" is usually 20-25 pushups in about 80-95 seconds... which is 3-5 seconds per pushup.. my normal set tend to be around 1 second per pushup.

Wow, completing 120 push-ups in 6 sets is amazing. I think you have enough willpower and enough experience due to which you were able to complete 120 push-ups. Most people may not be able to do it like you because push-ups require a lot of experience. It is true that physical exercises are very difficult to do without sports experience. Sports not only keep the body in good shape, but also keep mental tension free from everything.

I woke up early this morning and got ready to do push-ups. I was able to do a total of 80 push-ups in 4 sets today.

I have tried myself this morning while looking for a less stressful manner to carry out my pushups. Firstly I went on a 50 push-up set. This is my yielding point with less gasping and I have learned not to exceed in first streak.
Secondly I embarked on the second set aiming to get a 40 but only succeeded in 30 to avoid complete exhaustion.

I then took another 3 sets of 20 pushups each just to make a progress.

Wow, such Push up activity is really always effective and builds the body quickly. It also helps in developing one's endurance and strength.
Pushing beyond one's limit in the first set of pushups will only deny you of going for an additional set and may even also deny you of the following day exercise due to soreness. Push-up is what we can moderate because you actually feel it while you push and that makes you know when you reach your limit.
Sometimes we pass our limits trying to proof a point or due to a persuasion from friends who we're engaging the exercises with  this can affect your next day exercise as you may find all your body parts painful with muscle sores.

The best approach is what I regard as the slow-and-steady approach. Reduce the number of pushups and increase the number of sets. By so doing you can see yourself achieving the number of pushups that ordinarily you can't achieve while engaging in a high number push-ups.

I believe that the last week is going to be the FINAL WEEK for your challenge. Congratulations and enjoy your new muscles. Hahaha. I believe we'll never see Bitcoin crash under $100,000 again for the rest of the current bull cycle.

BUT for the next bear cycle, that would probably depend on how high the new ATH for the current bull cycle is. Let's make a presumption that Bitcoin will make another fall of a maximum of 80% - worst situation - from its next ATH, then the minimum ATH Bitcoin should achieve is $500,000. But the next retrace might be less than 80% because Bitcoin is/will be more widely adopted by institutions.

I hardly see how we can rest assured that $100k will never be challenged again.  You know bitcoin has history of 70% to 80%-ish corrections, and as much as I would prefer sub $100k to never, ever, ever be challenged again, it seems that we would have to get north of $250k ..and even that would ONLY be a 60% correction to bring us from $250k back to $100k.

Call me a doubter or a bear, but I just have a hard time seeing bitcoin getting past $250k in a short period of time without various corrections along the way, and surely even I was thinking of a scenario for bitcoin to go into the $120k to $180k and then bounce around there for a few months prior to breaking further UPpity.. ..and sure the further UPpity could take us north of $250k.. yet I would still be feeling to be too presumptuous to conclude that $100k is out of reach..

To me, it seems that you, Wind_FURY, are counting your chickens way before they are even close to being hatched.. and so I might start to feel some comfort if we get to $250k without any large corrections and if we start to go north of $250k.. yet at the same time, many of us likely realize that our worse crashes (in terms of percentage of the crash) tended to be more present during times that the blow off top had taken place in a quicker kind of way, so another factor is seeing how outrageous any blow off top ends up being. .and if Trump and friends manage to engage in behaviors to exacerbate bitcoin pumps that pretty much take us straight to $250k-ish, then I wouldn't even feel able to rest assured that sub $100k would end up being safe.

Yeah, maybe I am delusional, but I get the sense that you might be even more delusional than me, but what else would be new?   hahahahahahahahaha  (I couldn't resist that last little jab)

I know it's motivated me as well, so thank you for motivating me.   Smiley

Sounds good, strength without flexibility is asking for trouble.  

I've been having a bit of fun with rotating the hips around between sets.
Like I usually do 4 sets of 25 (by sets I mean one continuous streak of pushups, is that how everyone else is using sets?) [separated by 25 stairs] now with the first set where my hips are rotated, uh, clockwise and then the next set I'm rotated counter clockwise.  It feels like I'm working more of my side abs than just the column down the middle.

As a newbie I'm founding the difficult to 50 push-ups at a straight but i was happy to that i was able to archive 50 push-ups  in a different sets 25, 25 and i believe with and my level of consistency in this push-ups challenge thread i will surely improve daily.

As a newbie I'm founding the difficult to 50 push-ups at a straight but i was happy to that i was able to archive 50 push-ups  in a different sets 25, 25 and i believe with and my level of consistency in this push-ups challenge thread i will surely improve daily.

I couldn’t do 50 in a single set when I started either. I think it took me around 6 weeks before I could. After 11 months of doing them my best is now 80 in a set. Keep at it!

As a newbie I'm founding the difficult to 50 push-ups at a straight but i was happy to that i was able to archive 50 push-ups  in a different sets 25, 25 and i believe with and my level of consistency in this push-ups challenge thread i will surely improve daily.

It was not easy on me when i first started, i can remember the first day i joined this push-ups challenge that is the day i took this push-ups so seriously and i know how my body was shaking when i was pushing down and going up, it really took me time,weeks and month to get the numbers to reach the number of push-ups got daily, so i will advise you that once you are consistent with your push-ups daily believe me you will build up your body fitness and also remain healthy too.
