Announcement O'Clock:

New wallet will be rolled out in 48 hours maximum (aiming for ~30-35 hours from this post). POW will no longer be accepted, staking will begin, and we'll have a nice custom interface to boot.

any chance the tx fee when sending coins could be automatically calculated? as no wallet out there at the moment does this to my knowledge!

Excellent. As soon as that wallet is done then Mintpal is within reach.

20 XBC sent to the bounty fund : )
Keep up the work and delegating!

Things are going really great, a big thanks to everybody for your support. I will spend the next day ensuring we have a proper website / forum ready, after which time we will be kicking off a full blown PR and value adding campaign to really get things moving. This is just the beginning for XBC.

If you're interested in paper wallets check out the op, unick did an absolutely fantastic job on the paper wallet generator for us. I already printed myself some XBC bucks to stash in a time vault  Grin

As always, plenty more to come in the next day. OP has been updated with a few things that are going on, today we are going to be establishing a list of bounty jobs we would like and prices for them, join us and pledge up some xbc (wallet in my sig is for bounties, I dropped 50 in thus far) to get things rolling

edit: we've been added to a top 100 at http://www.cryptocoinrank.com/ not sure if anybody has picked up on that, I'll add it to the op shortly

Is anyone here good with importing paper wallets into the qt?

This is what I done:

1.) walletpassphrase xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 120
2.) importprivkey "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

after 120 seconds, the wallet locked and the key from the paper wallet did not import in time.

Now, when I go to try again I get this message:

Error adding key to wallet (code -4)

..how do I get my coins from the paper wallet now?

Devs: there was a 1.5 hr gap between blocks 174591 and 174592, wheras usually they are minutes apart - not sure what this means, but the devs should be made aware.

Love the paper-wallet, but could u upload a highres version? the backround is a bit pixelated when u print it out.

Also found an error once u create the paper-wallet:

Spend your BitcoinPlus by going to hbn.blockx.info and sweep the full balance of your private key into your account at their website.

should be xbc right Smiley

Hey guys, corrected the typo and uploaded a higher resolution for the wallets art

Also added the destroyed address balance on the richlist (last record) and removed it from the calculations to reflect the new reality

Just noticed the extra coins were killed just now. How many were saved from it for promotion/bounties and such?

And it's weird seeing a rich list with the top people having so few coins. I'm used to thinking in millions+ for coins.

None were saved because XBC devs are transparent and did as the public majority voted for full destruction. The only downside to not saving a little is that now we as a community need to donate to fund some future goals down the line. This will get easier once per coin value increases 10x the current, but the people who voted full destruction need to step up as well now and donate Smiley
